Chapter 32 - Discontentment

A knock on the door jerked me from my peaceful slumber. 'Go away' I muttered but the knock only became louder. I groaned and I turned to the other side of the bed. Using one of the comfy pillows to obstruct the noise coming from the door.

"Go away!" I groaned in a disgruntled manner. When the person didn't stop brutalizing my door with their knock, I sat up and stretched, my joints cracking to accommodate my position. I sigh in contentment, before opening my eyes.

I clicked my tongue when I realized I was still in the same room. I silently wished all through the night that what took place that night would turn out to be a dream, that it did not happen. But whenever I wake up from the bed, and spot the gown I roughly tore from myself the night I went back to Hades castle, I knew that night was very much real. I wished I had insisted more on not following anyone to the ball. What took place wouldn't have. I would not have made a mockery of myself in that manner.
