"Please have mercy!" I heard the screams of the tied-up man, and it seems he's learned a good lesson.
Wondering what happened back there? After Butterfly informed me about the assassins, I took off running but came to a sudden stop, wondering who could have sent those people after me. Not many have seen my face in the mafia world, and I've made sure those who tried messing with me in the business world learned a lesson. I was lost in thought when suddenly, the sound of gunshots snapped me back to reality. I looked up to find Scorpion with a smirk and two people lying in a pool of blood behind him. Before I could react, my phone started ringing, and I checked the caller ID to find Kiara.
"Hello," I said.
"Where the heck has your phone been? I've been so worried that I sent Scorpion over there to find you," she half-screamed.
"I've met with him. What's the issue?"
