Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 Foes To Friends

He didn't raise his own hands to wave at the audience, nor were they clapping their hands at the declaration of his name by the presenter.

The proclamation of him got less cheer from the people around the stadium. Only those who've heard of him cheered on.

Five had caught sight of brandor standing with his daughter on his right shoulder. The two of them were screaming out his name louder enough for him to hear with another person standing beside them while clapping. Though they may have been the only ones cheering him on at the moment he could see from the other side of the stadium the queen and her colleagues sitting where most of the other kings and queens were stationed in. He notices that Carley is waving her hand down at him, giving him a thumbs-up while Lager and her companions are clapping.

"Who the hell is he?" Olrox said to his partner.

"Remember the one news that's been going on between your father's kingdom?" Vyr said to him.

Olrox shrugs slightly in response to his partner's inquiries. "Yeah, I've heard that in King Krasd and Queen Jassan's homeland, one of the villages within their land just a couple miles away from the castle was raided, and so they asked my father first for aid. I don't know what went on, but somehow, someone might have overheard of their request and immediately let words of it out into the opening for everyone to hear,"

"Glad to know that you are aware of that because the one who is responsible for quelling the raider's attack on numerous villages was him," Vyr said gesturing to the princess's unknown teammate.

"Heh, now that you say that. I hope that this spartan is as good as the people themselves say he is," commented Olrox brashly.

"Haste it, friend, we do not want to underestimate our opponents. Besides, words have it that this spartan was also responsible for killing a basilisk, even a fighter like us would have trouble dealing with those serpent-like creatures," Vyr said to his long-time friend hoping he wouldn't misjudge the two standing opposite sides from them.

"Relax yourself vyr. I'm just a bit excited to fight Princess Nalarian herself, you can take on the giant golem," replied Olrox as he patted his friend on the shoulder.

Vyr chuckled wholeheartedly with his friend. "Of course you would want to, besides. Didn't she beat you once before,"

Olrox sneered at the comment and hated that his partner brought that up. "That was only during training, this is different,"

"Then we shall see, for I feel like she won't be holding up against us as well," says Vyr as he and olrox eyed the other two.

After the presenter was finished announcing both nalarian and Five's titles and past deeds he was picked up by a griffin and it flew up high in the air. As he does he pulls out an object, and coming outside of it is a red smoke commencing the start of the match.

"I hereby say, start the match!"

All of a sudden audiences from around the world stadium scream out in pure joy delighted for the long-awaited match of the empress's granddaughter's first contest of battle.

From behind Queen Jassan, she flinched scratching the side of her head when Queen Lager yelled out loudly for her eldest daughter.

"A bit excited are we my queen," joked Jassan.

"Of course Your Highness, this is going to be nalarian's first contest of battle," Replied in a quip.

<•>

"Wait olrox! We should think before attacking!" Vyr said trying to stop his partner.

"Think later, now is my chance to attack!" Olrox says immediately dashing for nalarian who is a bit surprised by his speed.

"What the!" Uttered nalarian as she pulled out her sword and glanced at the spartan. "His mine, five you can take on the other one!"

Nodding in response the spartan ran off toward vyr but not before blocking an attack from olrox who was a bit shocked by his speed.

"Wha- how did he do that?" Olrox muttered.

The sword he held was enchanted with speed fast enough to catch an experienced warrior off guard. Yet the Spartan just caught it midair and redirected it down to the ground and passed right by him.

"Surprise much olrox," spoke Nalarian who stepped forth sword in hand.

"I gotta say your partner is quite fast," olrox said as he pulled his weapon out and pointed it at nalarian. "Prepare yourself, princess!"

Vyr watched on as the armored being ran towards him. Pulling the shield from his back he held it in his right hand while in his left was his four-foot hammer. With this, he prepared himself and rushed forth as well ready to meet the spartan. While at this, he hoped that his armor enchanted with the hide of a stone beast would fare well against his opponent.

As he came close to the spartan vyr went for the attack first and brought down the head of his hammer on the head of the armored being. But before it could connect five quickly moved to the side as the hammer slid down inches away from his helmet visor.

Clenching his fist the spartan was about to punch the man in the center of his chest, yet Five instantly ceased his attack for right then and there he reacted with the intent to kill. So he chose another way just palm pushed the man back six feet away from him.

Vyr was scarcely surprised by the spartan speed in avoiding his hammer strike, the momentum that the giant used was effortlessly flawless and he did it without much trouble even with all that armor he had on. Without thinking too much about the matter he once again ran forth screaming in a war cry. On the flat side of his hammer right in the center of it was a purple crystal, it glowed a bright color of purple, and suddenly the hammer was surrounded by an electric purple.

Five when he came near vyr he could feel his energy shielding reacting in a slight hue, it was during this that it reminded him of a covenant plasma pistol coming into contact with his Mjolnir armor shield. Yet he was willing to see and find out just how it would affect his energy shield.

Vyr yelled as he slid to the left side dodging an attack from the spartan and immediately did a side swing from from the right. Thinking he was about to send the armored spartan rolling instead he saw him standing still with one arm blocking his hammer.

Vyr noticed that the spartan was just using his armored forearm to hold back the hammer himself, introspecting him vyr was deemed right when he saw the spartan holding in his arm an iron baton stick.

This particular weapon was one of the main weapons that police officers had on them in case they needed to use it. The one that Five holds with him was made to fit his preference. His arms were quite long and the end of the iron baton could only reach past his forearm.

As vyr was about to make another hit he was surprised to see Five hold the head of his hammer and with such strength he pushed him back forcefully with ease.

"What sort of weapon are you using, not once has anyone I've seen used such an ineffective weapon," says Vyr as he and the spartan circled each other... He waited for a response and yet got nothing from his opponent. "Hmm, not one to talk, at least you're not one to waste time,"

Just as he was about to shield himself from another attack five instead saw his opponent aim his arm straight at him and from within his long leather sleeve was a hidden crossbow. Suddenly four to sixteen arrows were shooting at him, the spartan seeing this blocked some of them without much trouble while some just caught and dropped it.

He was certain that anyone else would fair pretty well in the condition he was in, but it came to an end when shortly after vyr used almost all of his remaining arrows he threw some sort of black rubber ball. Five looked down at it grabbed it and tossed it back up in the air, seconds later a considerable amount of smoke covered both him and vyr leaving them in complete darkness.

Unaware of that even olrox and nalarian who were in the midst of battle ceased their duel. Olrox seeing this cursed his partner mentally for he never expected him to use this move of his this early. Olrox coughs and uses his tunic long sleeve to cover his mouth so as to not breathe in the smoke.

Nalarian who was standing still in her place was having trouble looking for her but due to this smoke, it came to a mislay for she couldn't catch even a slight silhouette of his... However just as she was about to relinquish she noticed a very large figure slowly coming her way. She brought her sword and held it forward. With this posture, she was copying the same stance that a knight uses which they call a long stance. Meaning she would have to straighten her right leg in alignment with her body, except her left leg stood forth.

Just as the figure came near a few good three-foot closer nalarian immediately went to stab her foe and was shocked to see some sort of hexagonal gold light-emitting around and all over the figure that stood there.

"I thought there was no killing allowed," A familiar voice says to which the princess remembered the rules.

"Ser, five! I'm sorry... Apologies, I thought of you as an enemy," nalarian spoke relieved to see the spartan again.

"Apologize accepted... Any idea how long this smoke will disappear?" Five asked.

"No im afraid not. But I can bet that our two foes are probably scheming up some plans of attack," says Nalarian as she coughs out some of the smoke.

"Correct, one is preparing some sort of attack, the other is staying behind,"

"How far?" Asked nalarian.

Just as nalarian finished speaking a sudden sound like that of a knife clanging with metal reverberated around their area.

Shocked by what she was seeing the princess hadn't expected the spartan to move that fast. About in front of her face was Five's iron baton blocking a straining sword from vyr.

"Thanks for the save," nalarian says.

She quickly turned her head forth and started cutting down every arrow that was shooting her way.

"Looks like you two are pretty even now," commented Deha.

"For now," Replied five as he pushed vyr away.

Soon after vyr merged into smoke using it as a way to repress his figure from being seen by the Spartan and nalarian.

"Where is he!" a disturbed nalarian says as she blocks another arrow.

Vyr who was slowly walking a circle around the two of them hadn't made another attack. He wasn't keen on rushing in yet, not while the spartan was surprisingly a problematic subject to his goal. Yet he couldn't do that, not while the spartan was still standing, regardless of that issue the real problem was the armored being. He half expected to have his sword an inch away from the princess's head and force her to yield, yet her partner saw him coming.

He cursed at himself for not anyone in his academy was able to block an attack that should've broken at least a bone. Yet this stranger, this armored being was able to do something astonishing.

Vyr let out a grunt struggling to hold his ground against his foe. His feet were creating a trace while the spartan was pushing him back. Deciding to choose another attack he tends to quickly jump back just fast enough to avoid a quick kick from five.

"Ko-five! Are you making an effort to at least go easy on him?" deha uttered.

"Yes, you don't need to worry about me harming the kid that quick, I won't hurt him," replied Five.

Vyr was shocked at the moment but ceased to as he dashed forth once more at the spartan. He with tremendous speed dashes forth and fakes a straight stab, the spartan falls for it and immediately vyr whirls his sword upward and then downward for the spartan's helmet.

A smile appeared on his face for he knew five was going to block that attack as well. The moment his foot touches the ground he bends down dodging a swing from the Spartan.

Feeling Edgy vyr then slammed his hammer right where Five's waist was, and to his anticipation, he saw the same hexagonal shapes of golden light appearing all over the spartan's armor.

"What kind of enchantment did this stranger put on himself?" Vyr said thinking to himself.

The crystal in his hammer began glowing and soon after electricity of the same purple color started surrounding the head of his hammer moments later just as the spartan was about to make another move vyr with the swing of his hammer slammed it against his foe so hard that it sent the spartan rolling one to three times.

Vyr set his hammer down as he let out a heavy puff relieved that his plan worked. He breathed in and out deeply as his body was too exhausted for he had used nearly every mana within himself to charge that attack.

"Five!" Yelled nalarian.

She was about to head for the spartan but was stopped when olrox came running for her with a two-handed dagger in both hands. Nalarian was now in an expletive situation, not only was she having to deal with olrox but now his partner vyr was joining in on the battle. She had cursed to herself after just standing there and not helping five.

Her partner was out cause she was sure that he was knocked out by the amount of power that vyr had used to send him flying. Right now she was just hoping to triumph over the two foes that were now gaining an advantage over her.

Meanwhile, as the princess was busy dealing with both olrox and vyr the spartan slowly shook his head from side to side. He recalled back to the move that his opponent vyr had pulled, that attack from his hammer the impact that he felt, it reminded him of the covenant brute gravity hammer, yet with less force.

Glancing to the side of his visor five could see the percentage of his energy shield dropping down from one percent then a second later it went back up to a hundred.

He couldn't help but admit that whatever kind of hammer his opponent wielded was strong for he also knew that it was imbued with the magic of some category.

Five overheard the sounds of metal clashing against one another and he stood up to see where it was coming from. Not only that he could see that the fog of smoke was starting to fade away over time, so this gave him at least no need to use thermal imaging in his Mjolnir helmet.

Without wasting another second to himself he ran to help the princess nalarian who was having trouble against the other two.

"Is that all you got princess!... I thought you were supposed to be a formidable opponent, ain't that right vyr!" Said an overly confident prince olrox.

"Yes, after all, she is the granddaughter of the empress, and to think that she would be a worthy opponent," Vyr said as he leaped up to avoid a swing from the princess.

"You boys talk too much,"

As the two of them were about to rush her together nalarian put two of her fingers an inch away from her mouth in a silent motion and then muttered something in a foreign language. As vyr and olrox came in six feet closer to her nalarian grabbed the hilt of her sword with both hands and immediately stabbed the ground with it.

Afterward, nothing had occurred that is when a sudden rumbling transpired. Olrox and vyr mistook this as a sign and were about to rush her, that is until a strong pressure from the air sent them skidding.

"Olrox, throw me!" Yelled vyr all the while he was using his hammer to keep himself still.

"What why!" Replied Olrox as he tried to keep himself from rolling back.

"Just do it!" Responded vyr loudly.

Nodding to his partner olrox slowly trudged towards his partner. He then grabbed vyr by the legs and prepared to spin him around while counting in his head, after reaching sixteen olrox tossed vyr at their target.

"What!" nalarian said surprised to see a flying vyr who came at her with most fists aiming at her.

She stood up quickly and prepared for him, yet as she was about to strike the spartan appeared next to her and moved vyr away redirecting him to the nearby wooden box.

"Good thing we've arrived early," said Deha.

"Ser, five!... I thought you were out?" Asked a surprised nalarian shocked to see the spartan up and standing.

"Sorry im late," Replied five.

Nalarian was going to say something but was interrupted by the sound of an agitated vyr who could be seen walking past the destroyed boxes.

"He seemed weakened," uttered deha.

The A.I. Had instantly read through the kid's vital signs. Before he had faced off against her spartan he or vyr that was more or well strengthened before his face-off against five. But now she could however see very clearly how weary he was.

"Doesn't mean he shouldn't be underestimated," replied five.

"I believe I know why," said deha.

"And that is?" Responded five.

"His hammer, I think he was using too much of that magical power, in other words, the amount of mana he was using to fight you was his downfall... Perhaps I should tell you that going even a bit easier on the kid would be the best way of subduing him," Deha said trying to reason with five.

"Haven't I already have," said five.

"Ser, five the hammer!" Shouted nalarian.

Peering to his right five saw olrox throwing the hammer in his direction, though it may have come his way five immediately knew that it was meant for another person. Olrox had intended for him to dodge it so that vyr who was running in his direction could catch it.

He took two steps back as the head of the hammer passed by him, milliseconds later he brought his hands up and caught the handles of it catching the hammer in midair.

"What!" uttered a shocked vyr who skidded to a stop.

Nalarian strolled forth and stood back to back with the spartan who was eyeing the hammer in his hand.

"I'll take this vyr guy ser five, you take the prince over there," nalarian said to the spartan to which he nodded in return.

"Sure,"

Before olrox could react he was slightly dreading the weird feeling that came up in him. He shook his head and readied himself for the armored being running toward him.

With the hammer in hand, the spartan gripped the handles and with a swing of it the head slammed the ground where olrox once stood.

Olrox let a whew expressing displeasure at that, he thought back to it if that hammer had touched him he was certain that the spartan only did it to cause terror within him.

Olrox bent backward avoiding another swing but was met with a leg sweep making him fall backward on his rear. As he was lying on his back he saw the hammer coming down and in a rapid movement he rolled to the side.

As he was about to get up olrox instead jumped forth and struck the spartan where his head was. He cursed internally for if it wasn't for the helmet he was sure that it would've at least caused enough discomfort to his opponent's head long enough for him to bring up another attack.

The moment his boot touched the ground olrox's hidden blade within his wrist sprung out. With this, he dashes forth and expects the spartan to use the hammer, but no, instead what he did made him astounded.

The spartan threw the hammer far away from where he and the other two were. Second, he brought out his iron baton weapons. This weapon was something that entrapped olrox in a puzzlement. Instead of other weapons such as basic ones like swords spears battle axes etc, and yet out of all them these five picked an iron stick.

"Was that wise of you?" deha said questioning him for his decision to relinquish the hammer.

"You said to go easy, I am," said five.

"I guess you are right, just remember what I said,"

<•>

Queen Lager who was watching the event was now drawn in on the battle. Though the previous match was alright now that her daughter was in the second one it made her even more drawn in on the match.

She clapped at her daughter who had kicked vyr across the field and even doesn't stop there. As she neared vyr she faked a stab with her sword surprising her opponent as she dodged a stab from his shield gauntlet.

What happened next caused everyone to wince altogether in discomfort when nalarian planted a straight kick to Vyr's head and continued to beat him. She didn't stop there for afterward she tore the shield gauntlet from his wrist and threw it away. Next, she caught vyr fist with her hand and twisted it making him yell out in pain.

What came next surprised even her for she didn't think her daughter could have done it.

Nalarian with a straight punch struck vyr across the jaw and brought her sword. With it, she brings it down stabbing the ground only four inches away from his head, and begins to drag it closer to her opponent's neck.

"You don't think she'll kill him do you?" Queen jassan said speaking up.

Queen Lager smirked for she knew her daughter was doing this to bring fear out of vyr. "Of course not, nalarian has other intentions,"

Trusting her friend's words Queen Jassan drank from her cup of wine and focused her eyes back on what was transpiring.

"It looks like her opponent has yielded," Safran says smirking.

"Oh my, that's good to know, to think my heart was beating faster for fearing the death of the boy," Says jassan.

"Looks like the spartan is faring better," King krasd spoke.

"Say, Miss Carley, perhaps you can fill me in on your companion since you are familiar with him," says Lager.

"Well, Your Highness, I know you and your friends may not believe it, but the spartan, as far as I know, is doing his best to not hurt the kids,"

"What!... So you are saying he is holding back?" Safran responded in shock.

"Interesting, I just saw him get hit by a magic force strong enough to end a wild creature for good, and yet your friend has withstood it," said Krasd but was cut off by Queen Lager.

"He also threw it away,"

"My problem is, why did he not use it for himself? I mean he may not have magic within himself but even those without it have the advantage over their opponent when wielding a hammer imbued with enchantment," Queen Jassan commented obscured by the spartan's decision.

"Well jassan, it's pretty much clear to everyone, he did it as a way to have a fair match against the boy," Lager said responding to her inquiries.

After hearing the three of them speaking about the spartan Safran just leaned back on his chair and added his own opinion. "Unless the man is too assured of himself, believing hell win the battle that easily,"

"I would not doubt that young Safran," Replied lord lester.

The brow on Safran raised at that and spoke. "And what uncle may that be?"

Lester set his mug down on the table all the while he kept an eye on the spartan quarrel with olrox. "If you have noticed any discrepancy young Safran, ser five was going easy... Of course, he may have had some trouble in the first contact against the Prince and vyr. But from what I'm seeing, I believe he was only testing the two of them, to find out their strengths and weaknesses. And if I might say, ser five wanted to see how long the two of them could keep going,"

This time it was the queen lager's turn to speak up after waiting for lester to finish. "I agree with lord lester, the spartan as Miss Carley said is more of a match for the two boys. I'm not disregarding my nalarian, but considering how Ser Five has dealt with the two boys, I reckoned he'd be enough of a match for a one-versus-two,"

"He sure is a formidable warrior then... If there were others like him then it's unquestionable they would be a great addition to the First War," commented jassan as she recalled back to the story her great-grandmother used to tell her.

Krasd was going to add his statement but agreed with his wife thus he just remembered something he forgot to ask the O.N.I. agent. "Madam Carley, if you don't mind me asking, did you not mention that there were others like ser five?"

Carley couldn't help but take a drink from her ale mug as she almost spit it out when asked that question. She may have not been born during the start of the human covenant war but all she heard about it was that it was bloody and very cruel to the eyes, one of the many things she liked about it was the stories that the unsc and high command had released about the spartans.

Her sister was a marine and served as an unsc combat medic, though she may have triumphed over the fear of encountering her first fight against a Sangheili on the battlefield, and yet that wasn't the main issue for her sister Cilla was mainly horrified by the numerous missions she had gone on. Bodies upon bodies of humans lying dead as hundreds of worlds burn.

However that all changed when the news about the Spartans was revealed out unto Earth and every other colony worlds. Her sister Cilla was hiding something.

Carley thought back to the time she asked Cilla what it was that had been bothering her for a while. And one day she told her the whole truth, about why she had been keeping her from avoiding her and her family and friends.

And a few years she decided to sign up for the Spartan Four program. Although she heard of the news about those volunteering to become a spartan. She believed the reason why her sister wanted to become one was because of the famous master chief. Cilla had like a picture of the rest of her team smiling after a victorious battle, and standing over the rest of them was a spartan the same generation as Master Chief.

After seconds of having gotten herself back together from almost choking Carley wouldn't mind telling them the numbers of each generation of spartans. "Ehem, Yes lord krasd... I have mentioned it before and I thank you for reminding me of it. Yes, there is more like Ser Five, however, the only problem is he and those like him are exceedingly different than the spartan fours,"

"I'm assuming that there are slight differences between each generation?" Lager said interested in the story.

"Yes, but further questions like how they were made I cannot tell you for my superiors had told me not to... Regardless of that, I can tell you that the previous generation before the spartan fours. They're called the threes, they didn't mind the spartan fours and were well-functioning with each other no matter the difference," Carley said filling them up on partly the fulfillment from the two generations.

Now that the woman had said that Her Highness Lager was curious about Lady Carley's statement. "Forgive me for asking you another question, but to what generation is ser five from?"

"I'll give you a hint my queen. During our meeting with you, what number was on Ser Five's left chest plate?" Carley said mentally smiling at herself for she had a feeling Queen Lager would be very right with her response.

"Yes, I have seen the numbers on his armor chest plate... It was spelled zero-zero-five, though if I may be right, is five perhaps the same as this master chief," Lager said asking her.

"Yes ma'am. For instance, the master chief and five are both Spartan twos and the threes and fours were solely the ones descended from their forebearers," Carley said explaining her statement in the best way everyone around her could understand.

"I'd say it's good to know which generation he's from, but the way how each generation is named after a number is very odd to me, why numbers?" Asked Safran.

"It is to better know which one is which," Carley said simply answering him.

"Regardless if it's names or numbers I won't question how your superiors prefer to call each generation of spartans... But it is satisfactory to know which one of them ser five belongs to," Queen Lager said pleased by Carley's assertion.

"Thank you, Your Highness," Carley said bowing her head with a hand where her heart is.

Queen jassan glances at her husband as each of them has the same opinion on their head to which the wife comments Sierra zero-zero-five. "And to think one of them, ser five was the one responsible for fairing against the raiders, boy it is good to know what he is,"

While they were speaking Safran suddenly laughed out loud and everyone knew why, they were watching the fight until witnessing an outstanding occurrence.

<•>

Eight minutes before the end of the match

Olrox and five stood unmoving from where they stood. Both of them weren't inclined to make a move.

Olrox breathed heavily every once in a while, as he glanced down while holding onto his wrist blade, the prince cursed when the upper half of it cracked and plummeted to the ground.

He then turns his head to see the spartan who still hasn't moved yet from his position. Though his other weapon may have been half-destroyed olrox was glad that his opponent's right iron baton was broken as well.

Unexpectedly olrox stopped and got ready to attack when five suddenly moved.

His eyes followed every movement of the armored being, it brought its iron baton up to take a closer look and after that, he tossed the thing away and stared at him once more.

Olrox spit on the ground and prepared, and just as he took a step forth he was met with a kick that sent him skidding back a few yards.

He uncrossed his arms thankful that he managed to block the attack on time. Though it may not have shown on his face olrox felt the bones in his forearms shaking and he couldn't help but feel like that kick alone would've ended him.

"So that's how you wanna play. Well alright then," says Olrox trying to keep his facade on from the hidden pain.

Nonetheless, whether the prince was in distress it didn't stop him then and there as he dashed forth with a quick pace.

Five watched on as the boy muttered in some words as he was running and seconds after his still good wrist blade had a glint of red color.

He then rushes ahead to meet the prince and both of them meet a sword with a baton clashing once again in a fairly persistent fight.

Olrox grunted attempting to push the spartan back to at least an inch and yet he remained unbothered. It was pretty clear that the armored man had the advantage over him in height and the immensely overbearing strength he seemed to be demonstrating.

As much as his ego wanted to keep going olrox knew he couldn't keep this going. However, that changed when he caught sight of his enchanted blade beginning to cut through the spartan's iron baton.

Smiling to himself olrox laughed and tried his best to push through the overbearing strength of five. Moments later just as the spartan moved an inch olrox eventually prevailed and her blade cut right through the baton with slight damage to it. No matter it didn't hinder his spirit for he immediately went for the center of his opponent's armored chest.

Although he may have succeeded in breaking through five had to give it to the kid for he had heart. But that was as far as he knew the kid could go.

As the sharp head of the blade was inches away from where he was five took two quick steps back bent down to eye level with the prince and spun around with his leg reached out. And before his opponent could figure it out olrox found himself falling backward.

From thereon, the last thing he ever saw was a single light as he felt the back of his head touching the solid ground.

As he stood there looking down at the unconscious form of Prince Olrox deha's holographic face appeared in the upper right corner of his hud.

"You bafoon! Ya could've at least caught the boy's head," Deha said slightly infuriated at Five's uncaring look.

"He'll be fine, the kid had a leather helmet protecting his head," replied Five.

"Fine, but next time don't just let a kid fall on their own," replied deha.

The spartan was about to respond to his partner when he saw the announcer slowly descending from midair and reaching the center of the stadium. First, he gestured for both vyr and nalarian to step forward and then faced the direction his from.

"Ser, five. If you may, would you please come forth,"

He was about to step forth but halted when he remembered the knocked-out olrox. Five knelt down and picked up the kid and then walked toward the announcer.

"Is he at least alive?" Nalarian said asking the spartan who was holding a barely injured olrox.

"I did not kill him, if that's what you were thinking?" Five said as he saw a face of relief across Vyr's face.

"Well that my friend is very good to hear," The announcer said pleased to hear the spartan response.

"What now?" Five said.

"Well my boy, now I will declare the victors of this battle,"

"Fine by me, im yearning to take a nap the moment I hit my chamber," commented vyr.

The three contestants' watched on as the middle-aged man strolled forth and spoke out loud with his arms reached out into a cross.

"Ladies and gentlemen, royals and nobles and lords!... I give you the winners of this battle. Please first congratulate Her Highness, Princess Nalarian of elderyn,"

As he declared her name out for the audience to hear vyr and five watched on as every single person clapped after the declaration of her name and title. Heck, some even continued chanting her name and other titles such as the daughter of the Queen Lager and one that even nalarian like which was called the blood of the empress granddaughter to her highnesses.

Nalarian felt very shy as she couldn't imagine tthis many people to applauding her in a time of victory so the best thing she could thought of was to just smile and wave her hands out to the people.

"Please allow me to introduce to you once again her partner... I give you all ser five!" proclaimed the man.

This time the people just proceeded to clap for the spartan and even some called him the emerald knight the champion who bested the prince olrox son of a profound queen and king who were of course must've been seething seeing how their son was defeated by some nobody that they haven't heard of.

"Oh koa on your six," Deha said to which five turned around to see a woman and a man both who were obviously the parents of olrox.

"Hello there my name is Alexandria queen of the red forest kingdom," The woman said introducing herself.

"And I am orax, son of the late king masfar... I must say that was a glorious battle that the four of you have showed,"

"Nice to meet you two. I am presume that you both are here for your son?" Spoke five.

"Yes, please allow my guards to take him," Alexandria said as two men dressed in metal plated and tunic armor stepped forth.

"Forgive me, I didn't wish to hurt him even more, so the best I could do was have him knocked out," Five said to the two of them.

"It is quite fine ser five. Though I might say that you were quite the warrior that we both thought of, say wouldn't you mind serving under us we offer great benefits," said Masfar.

"I decline your offer, sir, forgive me but im not looking to serve under anyone from this world," Five said to which he knew what was coming as deha chastised him without anyone knowing of her presence.

Unclear on what the spartan meant by the word world masfar just went ahead speaking as he didn't want five to feel like he and his wife were pressing him to accept his proposal. "Though I understand your refusal, I will not keep pestering you on the matter," Masfar said.

"There is no need to worry young five, my husband here tends to want to recruit the best warriors to join our kingdom,"

"Thank you for your understanding," Five said simply formally responding to them.

"The thanks is ours ser five," Alexandria replied formally.

"It is alright ser five, may we meet another day... Now will you please excuse us, my wife and I must tend to our son,"

After the two royals bid their farewell they left leaving the spartan with the princess nalarian and a fairly messed up vyr who was holding onto his nose.

"Forgive me for harming you even further vyr," Nalarian told him feeling bad for wounding the noble boy.

"Oh it is ok princess, my nose will heal just fine, though I may need to find a healer afterward," Vyr responded with a subtle laugh as a second later he winced in pain.

"Speaking of healers, my mother has one of her own, she wouldn't mind patching you up... I'm sure you've heard of the Laurian Academy,"

vyr held his nose and peered up at nalarian as he then spoke. "Why yes, didn't your grandmother the empress have it built for those with healing magic to study in?"

The Laurian Academy was one of the few places where people with unique ability of healing would go to and honed in on art of healing whereas then they ascending into a rank of healer.

"Yes, and my healer has been with my family ever since my mother was young... Regardless of who she is, rather if she was blood or not, my mother considers her as an aunt. And she would not mind mending to your broken nose," Nalarian said guilty of the fact that it was she who caused it.

"Yeah thanks to you princess, you know for as good as your partner is, he does not match the beating you gave me back there," vyr said to her admitting to himself. "No hard feelings ser five,"

The spartan didn't say anything and just simply responded with a nod to vyr.

"Looks like the match is has ended. Would you two like to meet up with my family?" Nalarian offered.

"I have a feeling this is gonna take a while," commented deha.

"Agreed," Five replied as he and the other two left to meet up with the queen.

Unknown P.O.V.

A person was strolling on by while holding in his hand was a sandwich one she liked to know how it was made. She had to admit that it was like one of the foods that reminded her of home.

She continues on her way while keeping her guard up. She liked this fantasy-like world. Previously a day before the gate had appeared Myla was enjoying her break in the sunlight. Until a Roman like-gate appeared in the middle of Ginza Japan.

Therefore she and those who she was stationed with in one of the UN base in Japan had gotten words of an invasion. Formerly she didn't believe words of fantasy beings attacking ginza Japan, until she ultimately accepted the truth and fact there was in fact beings such as dragons giant like spiders and ogres one where those harry potter fans knows of. Though she was certain the ogres saw laid dead in Japan were pretty much bigger then the harry potter ogres.

Yet regardless of the unusual sight she saw the fantasy beings and other unknown ones weren't the only thing that entered her world, why, that's because humans were seen amongst the invaders.

She felt pridefulness for how quickly the bastards were quickly dealt with, seeing their faces expressed surprising looks and fears. She and the other U.N. Soldiers all agreed in joining general hazam and station chief laswell on the mission in finding out about why the gate appeared and second which was to obviously to find out who had sent their armies of fantasy beings to attack Japan.
