She was surprised to see the men bowed down to her and shook hands with Marcus, weren't they coming for trouble? She wondered.
Marcus seeing the puzzled look on her face, calmly explained.
"The boss sent you more bodyguards."
Calla: "…"
Her face was red from anger, why would he send her more guards, wasn't one enough?
"Ask them to leave, I am okay with just one guard." Her voice was cold and authoritative.
Marcus knew the madam would not be supportive of having more guards, he had to explain it calmly to her or else she might cause trouble for him with the boss.
"Ma'am, the boss said he doesn't want you to run away with another man like you did yesterday."
Calla's rage increased when she heard Davis's explanation. Davis actually thought she would run off with a man. She had only gone out with Liam to cool her head off.
She took her phone and called him. He had to ask them to leave or else she would make them leave the hard way. Her secret of having double identities was already at stake because Marcus was following her everywhere, she hadn't even figured out how to deal with him yet and Davis was sending more bodyguards to her.
Davis was in the middle of signing a new model when he saw Calla's calls.
He smiled, she must have met her new bodyguards, he knew she would try to persuade him to ask them to leave but he wouldn't do that.
The new model and her manager were surprised by Davis's sudden mood change, he was cold and expressionless while talking to them but a single call made him smile sweetly, it must be his new wife calling him.
Garcia knew who was calling and why she was calling, he was anxious to see how his boss would handle the situation.
"Ask you men to leave this instant." She shouted over the phone.
He had to remove the phone from his ear a little bit in order not to damage his ear.
The two women exchanged glances as they heard Calla's voice, she didn't sound like a lovely wife at all.
Davis glanced at them and motioned for them to leave. They left immediately without questions in order not to irritate the CEO, they had heard how he treated new models if they questioned him about anything, better to get in his good books.
Garcia remained in the room with Davis, there was no way he was going to miss this.
"I can't ask them to leave, Calla. I want you to be safe." His tone was soft.
She was irritated at his words, he wanted her safety or he didn't he thought she was cheating on him?
"Don't tell me that, Davis. We both know that's not why you sent them here." She sounded infuriated at his words. "You think I am going to run away to Liam, don't you?."
At the mention of Liam's name, his aura changed rapidly, he hated him so much.
"The men are staying with you until you get back home." He said in a final voice and ended the call.
She stood there with rage in her eyes, how dare he hung up on her?
Calla focused her gaze on the men in black, "You should leave here if you know what's good for you." Her eyes were cold and fierce, and the tone of her voice sent shivers down their spine.
Who the heck was this woman standing before them, she had an intimidating aura like that of the boss. Two terrifying couples.
A huge dark-skinned man who seem to be the leader amongst them spoke. "Ma'am, we have been assigned by the boss to stay with you at all times, and that's what we intend to do." His voice was heavy, it could send scare any lady in Calla's shoes but she didn't even bulge.
"If you follow me into that building, then don't blame me for whatever happens to you." She has a mysterious smile on her face as she said those words and headed inside the building.
Marcus glanced at the men without a word and followed after her.
"What do we do, boss?." A blonde man asked the dark-skinned man who had spoken earlier.
"We can't disobey the boss's orders, follow her."
They followed after Calla but not without fear in their hearts, they feared that she was more powerful than they thought.
As soon as Calla and Marcus entered the building, the whole room fell silent.
Marcus' eyes opened wild in shock as he saw people dressed in black clothes kneeling in front of Calla.
"You are welcome most feared and respected one." They said in unison.
Calla knew she had a lot of explaining to do, she had forgotten to tell Stacey that Marcus would be following her to work, so they should skip the greeting part of the day.
"Loyal black dragons, most feared amongst the underworld, children of the grand master, raise and continue your black dance." She responded with a solemn expression on her face.
Marcus: "…"
What the heck was going on?
The bodyguards who also witnessed the scene were in shock, wasn't this supposed to be a dance studio, how come they are behaving like a cult group?
The people who were once kneeling stood up and continued their dance routine while Stacey walked up to Calla.
Immediately her eyes fell on Marcus and the men in black clothes, and her mouth formed an 'owww' sound.
Calla just rolled her eyes and mouthed 'Take care of them', and walked towards her office.
Stacey nodded her head in agreement.
The men were about to follow her, but Stacey signaled for them to stop.
"Good morning gentlemen, I am Stacey Washington, personal assistant to Calla Miller, your's boss's wife." She said in a polite tone, but her eyes were cold and held no emotions whatsoever, but come to think of it since the men walked into the building all the people they have seen had cold eyes that held no emotions.
Marcus stared at the beautiful lady who was dressed in black leather pants and a black shirt. What was up with everyone here wearing black clothes? Except Calla of course who was dressed in a blue shirt and white pants.
