She paused and eyed the six men in front of her, they looked powerful enough to shove her out of the way and go after Calla, but that could only happen if they were outside the building, right now she was no longer Stacey Washington but Black Shadow, but she couldn't tell them that, so she told them her mother everyday name.
"I am afraid you can't follow my boss into her office, once goes in there, no one is allowed inside except me, her assistant."
The men stared at her indifferently, they didn't look like they were going to give in to her words.
"I have been assigned to be with her at all times," Marcus responded calmly, but from the look on his face, you could tell he was running out of patience, it had already been five minutes since Calla went into her office and he wasn't there with her, who knew whether there was a secret door that led out of the building from her office.
Stacey didn't want to use painful force to get rid of them, because that would expose them and if that happened the boss would punish her.
"Gentlemen, you can't tell me you follow her everywhere, as a married woman she should have her privacy or are you guys her husband?." She asked with a raised eyebrow.
Cough! Cough! Cough!
The men started faking a cough, what the heck was she saying?
Stacey or Black Shadow rather, smiled inwardly she was glad at their reactions. "I wonder what Davis would think if I told him his men followed his new wife into the bathroom." She had a devilish grin on her lips.
Their eyes flew wide in shock, was she planning on lying against them?
"We didn't go to the bathroom with the boss's wife," Marcus said in a defensive tone.
She smirked. "But you are planning on following her around, aren't you going to go to the bathroom together with her? Considering the bathroom is in her office, and besides you would be spending a lot of time alone with someone's wife. That's to say you are likely to fall in love with your boss's wife knowing how of a lovable person she is."
By the time she was done talking, the men had sweats on their faces. They were lost for words.
Stacey walked around them in a circle. Poking each of them with her index finger as she spoke. "What would anyone think, if they saw a married woman alone in a room with six mature men? They would probably assume she was a cheating woman, right?."
They gulped, what she said was logical.
"I suggest you all sit down there and let the dancers entertain you." She motioned for them to have a seat at the corner of the room and watched the dancers who were focused on dancing, they immediately obeyed her orders, they couldn't imagine the boss thinking they were involved in any fishy behavior with his wife.
The dancers' steps were elegant but strange, their dance moves were similar to a fighting scene. A group of five dancers seemed to have challenged another group of five dancers, the leader of the first group was a beautiful girl of about sixteen years while the leader of the challenged group was a handsome boy of about eighteen.
The first group formed a circle and their leader stepped into the circle, Cora was one of the best dancers in the studio, her dance steps were precise and elegant, her dance moves told you her emotions and her quest for revenge was what drove her into the studio.
She danced in the circle for some time, then all of a sudden struck each member of the team down with her fist, before going to fight against the other group.
Her group members, fell in defeat as she knocked them down.
Zane, the leader of the other group, danced towards her with a leg in the air as he planned to attack her with it, she danced out of his reach and landed her leg on his jaw instead and he fell on the floor.
Her teammates rose from the floor as they cheered her.
The men looked at each other with puzzled expressions, what was the meaning of the dance, why did she have to kill her teammates before killing her enemy? They wondered.
Normally as a team, there should be teamwork to achieve a goal, so why did she have to betray the team in preferring to get a victory?
Stacey knew the men didn't understand the dance.
She sighed softly as she thought of how to explain it to them.
"You see when she was with the group, she could only dance within the group, she couldn't get to the other group to fight them, and her teammates restrained her from leaving the circle, so she couldn't fulfill her mission of killing the group's leader, that was why she had to sacrifice her teammates for her purpose." She paused and looked at them intently, "In the quest for revenge sacrifices must be made."
The men were in a daze as they listened to her explanation, the last part stuck to their heads like glue, 'in the quest for revenge sacrifices must be made.'
Meanwhile in Calla's office…
She had already changed her clothes from the casual clothes she had put on from home to an all-black outfit like the members of the Black Dragons.
She was anxious to call the Grand Master but she knew fully well of the consequences that followed if anyone called him without his consent, the rule was simple. 'You can only talk to him if he called you, never call him.'
Every member of the Black Dragons kept that rule in mind at all times.
She was dying out of curiosity about what task he had for her. She wondered if it was something dangerous and top secret, if it was, then Liam must be aware of it.
