Entering the doors Xander closed it behind him and with a thud, it was closed shut.
"Hehehe... Those idiots thought I would listen to their No." He said with a chuckle.
"Ah!"
Xander's heart nearly flew out of his chest when he saw someone in front of him staring at him.
Coming out from his shock he got a closer look and noticed that it was a girl. She seemed to be around his age and she was a little bit shorter than him.
Most of her hair was black while a little side in front was white. She had ocean blue eyes and for some reason, Xander seem to recognise those eyes but he didn't know where he saw it from.
The girl's lower face was hidden behind the black mask so it was kind of impossible for him to see her face completely.
She wore tight leggings that shined like it was made of leather, there was a few metal pieces here and there for defence and her hips were on full display as the leggings literally hugged her honey body.
She had a crop-top on that had a long sleeve hand and there were two short swords on her waist, indicating a blade master class player.
"It's you..." The girl's voice sounded behind her mask.
She looked at Xander while pointing at him with wide eyes as if she was surprised to see him here.
Xander was just confused about the way the girl was acting, 'Are NPCs supposed to act like this?'
He was the only one who has reached the flame world last stage, the boss room. Now seeing a person that was here with him he doubted that it was a player.
"Are you the system guide?" Xander asked as he walked to her side to look further into the cave they were in.
The girl looked annoyed at what Xander said and kicked his leg, "No you dummy, it's me Sandra."
"Huh...?!"
Xander then looked closely as the girl removed her mask and what do you know, it was Sandra.
Xander wasn't going to lie she was indeed extremely beautiful to be an ordinary human being.
"Wow. It's really you. It's nice to see you again." Xander said and began walking into the cave towards the orange light at the end ignoring the pain on his leg from the kick just now.
"Wait!"
Xander looked back as he saw Sandra standing there with an angry expression.
"Where do you think you're going?" she asked, putting a hand on her waist.
Xander found her question weird and just answered simply, "There is a boss waiting to be slayed. I'm going to kill it."
Seeing Xander answering her as if she was the dumb one she got annoyed and walked to his side with an angry expression, furrowed brows included, making her look extremely cute.
Xander couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of Sandra being angry.
"What's so funny?" She asked, still in angry mode.
Xander just raised his hand as if surrendering. "Nothing nothing," he said with a smile.
Sandra then walked past him and continued walking. Xander who thought that maybe she wanted to slap him was surprised and just kept staring at her.
"You coming or not?" She asked as she looked back.
"Hm... What.. me?!" Xander asked, pointing himself.
"Yes you. There's a boss to fight just after these caves, let's go." She said no more and continued down the caves.
"Sometimes humans can be unpredictable." He mumbled before he finally followed behind her, walking faster to reach her side.
And so they walked together, venturing deeper as every minute they get closer and closer to the boss.
"So what's your name?"
Xander was shocked that Sandra asked his name as he was more of an introvert and didn't talk to many people. Now that a pretty, rich girl asked his name he felt a sense of... Pride. But of course it didn't show on his face.
"Xander. Xander Sean." He answered.
"Okay. I'm–"
"Sandra Zeal." Xander cut in.
"Oh. You know me?" Sandra asked in surprise as she looked at him.
"It will be impossible to not know you. Your family owns one of the biggest gaming technology companies in the world." Xander said with a shrug.
"Oh... I guess you would know that." She said with a chuckle. This guy in front of her was a literal gaming nerd.
It didn't take long for them to reach the end of the cave and they saw an opening. Reaching there they were stunned by the view.
There was bright lava below raging and boiling. Illuminating the inside of the volcano.
In front of them was a stone bridge that leads to a wide elevated island in the middle of the volcano.
"Come on let's go." Xander said as he took the first step on the bridge.
