Upon reaching the abandoned factory Ciel wasn't able to see anything other than a normal run down building. The environment was empty like a graveyard which made Ciel think that he was really in the right place.
"An illusion." He mumbled, glancing around the abandoned environment.
The building was over three hundred metres away from where he was so it will probably take him some time to reach there... If he walks.
After walking that distance he suddenly passed through an invisible field, probably a barrier and the windows which were dim were now shimmering with light.
"This should be the headquarters..." Ciel mumbled in satisfaction.
After years of finding the Ghoulshippers headquarters he finally found it. Does this mean that he'll be able to put an end to their evil after all?
Ciel sighed as he kicked open the door and the booming sound echoed all around the surroundings and inside.
The lights were on but the building was empty with only about ten men, some which were dead.
He scanned the place and his eyes were glowing red as he thought he has been tricked to coming here but then he spotted three hooded men and a person tied up in front of them.
"Well what do you know? He did show up." One of the hooded person said to his companions.
"Well then. Let's go, the plan will be over by now."
All three hooded person then turned around and began walking away... Just like that.
Ciel was expecting a fight but he just sighed as he has much more important things to do. He wasn't sure if he can face his wife after leaving for a whole year without contacting them.
Just a year ago he just learned about the secret organisation that has been going on for generations that protect the world in the shadows.
At that time he was just a normal married man with a teenager son but when he realised the gravity of the situation, the ghoulshippers rise, he had to leave, to protect his family from experiencing a possible apocalypse.
Over the past year he has been tracking the ghoulshippers to find out their headquarters so that he can destroy it once and for all.
So many things happened during that time, including finding out that he had one of the most powerful arcana of all time, leading to him being appointed as leader of their group... Well, it was more of an army than a group though.
His reason for leaving was to protect his wife and his son and he didn't feel guilty... At that time.
But now what he felt is guilt, he had no idea how they have been doing this past year. Not a single day has passed by without him thinking about his family.
His heart quivered as he stepped forward and walked towards the tied up person.
He quickly cut the ropes and the woman turned her head towards him with a whimper, her face still covered in the black sack.
When the ropes came loose the woman quickly removed the bag and that's when Ciel's brows furrowed in confusion and anger.
The woman he was looking at had long brown hair with grey eyes. She was beautiful but... This wasn't his wife.
He immediately dissappeared from the woman's view, leaving her stunned. She quickly ran out of the place in fear, probably to call the police.
...
Outside the building, one of the three men in black cloaks tossed a fist sized glowing blue sphere in front of them and a swirling blue energy bursted from it, rotating and creating a portal.
Two of them stepped through and just as the last one was about to, the walls of the building that was at least two hundred metres away from them burst open and a red light dashed towards him.
The man smiled and stepped into the portal and it shrunk and dissappeared behind him.
Ciel suddenly stopped where the portal vanished. His heart was beating fast and his eyes glowed red brightly and he started breathing heavily.
"They... They tricked me."
He clenched his fists, causing blood to flow from between his fingers.
He was enraged... The fact that they led him here, means that they are probably planning something.
"This is no time to be angry Ciel, focus. Your wife's life is at stake." He said as he placed his fingers on the side of his head.
"If anything happens to her I'll not hesitate to put an end to Alexander the next time we meet. No matter what." He mumbled before he turned into red mist and dispersed in the air.
...
Marie was scared as she was hearing different clanking noises in her background. She never thought that she will ever be kidnapped as kidnapppers mostly target the rich.
As far as she knows, she didn't have enough to be classified as rich.
Her vision was black even with her eyes open and she could feel that her mouth was tied.
Suddenly the bag placed over her was removed and light finally met her eyes. She was blinded for a few seconds before her eyes adapted to the light naturally.
She looked around to see that she was in a big laboratory with a wide space and there was a pillar with golden lines pulsing with energy and codes reading on a screen on the body of the pillar.
"Hello Marie."
Hearing her voice she turned her head to see the person she hasn't seen in more than seventeen years, her husband's brother.
"Take off the one on her mouth." The man said and another person in white uniform came and untied the cloth on her mouth.
He had long black hair that reached below his shoulders and his golden pupils contrasted to his clear white skin. And he was very handsome with a pointed nose and a straight jawline.
Feeling able to speak again she quickly said, "Alexander what's going on? What are you doing here? What am I doing here?" She bombarded him with questions still looking around the place.
"I kidnapped you Marie. Your husband is in town. And I don't like him interfering with my plans."
Marie was taken aback as she barely recognised the man in front of her. Alexander was always a quiet type that had this belief of a strange god and the last time she saw him was when... She broke his heart.
That happened when her and her husband were engaged. He was her friend and so was her husband, both Ciel and Alexander were twins.
Ciel proposed to her and she accepted because she liked him but when Alexander told her too it was already too late as Ciel beat him to her.
Ever since that time she hasn't seen him, he didn't even show up at her wedding.
Coming out of her daze Marie asked, "What plans are that?.. wait, my husband is in New York? He went for a business overseas and isn't supposed to come back till next month."
Alexander snorted as he heard her words and turned to face her directly, his golden eyes staring at her eyes.
"Oh is that what he told you? Well, let me tell you just how busy your husband has been."
