It was the scene where the young boy had electrified his attackers earlier.
Inspector Dele and his partner, Daisy were at the crime scene, yellow tapes marking the area.
"The devil sure knows what happened here." Dele spoke as he examined the bodies on the ground.
If not for his and his partner's evening patrol for situations like these, excluding the supernatural killing, they wouldn't have known.
"It all seems weird. First, the killing of young girls and this. Could they be related?" His partner, a young fair woman pondered.
"Honestly Daisy, I don't know. All I know is hell has been let loose on Lagos. We'll have to be careful." Dele replied.
"The forensics and the medical team are on their way, wanna stick around for clues, witnesses?" She suggested.
"Could have agreed on the witnesses part but there's no one here...wait, you see the old man on that pavement? He wasn't here earlier" He stated, pointing at an empty pavement.
"There's nobody there, Dele. You okay?" She replied.
Dele blinked his eyes and surprisingly, the man was gone.
"Nah,I'm fine. I should get some sleep tonight." He replied.
Just in time, the ambulance arrived and the forensics' vehicle wheeled in right after.
"Let's get to work." Dele ordered.
Daisy eyed him for a moment, wondering
"Could he be one of them? I hope not." She flashed a smile at him as he looked in her direction and turned away.

It was night and the city of Lagos was busy as usual. Right on the Agege-pen cinema road was a heavy hold up, causing endless rows of slowly moving cars. The sky seemed strangely dark, giving a sign that a storm might be brewing. On the side walls were thugs, looking for an opportunity to rob a car with its windows rolled down. The fumes from the exhaust of the vehicles also clouded everywhere, creating a foggy effect.
A boy, the same boy who had murdered people earlier, now looking terrified, was hurled into a corner by an invincible force that seemed to have beaten him earlier, causing a black spot on his face. He got up, shivering. He couldn't see what was hurting him and he couldn't run. He was doomed.
He shut his eyes, gaining some courage, he yelled.
"Leave me alone!"
As soon as he yelled, glasses within the vicinity broke and the lights went off, even the vehicles engines were mysteriously killed.
He looked around, shocked at what just happened.
"Oh my, you are another special one." A voice spoke, he took a step back, still scared.
"Don't fret young one, I'm here to help you." The voice chuckled evilly.
Finding the courage he had earlier, he asked
"Who are you? What do you want from me?" In Yoruba.
"Oh Mephistopheles, I love this boldness." A Demon, now revealing itself, spoke.
"Well, I'm Rekhin but you can call me the Demon of wrath and you, Tosin, are a unique human I'll like to work with."
"What work do you need me for?" Tosin asked, unafraid again.
"To take someone...no a powerful being down."
"And you think you've chosen the right person?"
"Yes boy, I know you ran away from the remand home after killing your stepfather. I know about a friend you've once killed too. I also know about the people you shocked to death this afternoon. I know why you did them, you were afraid after they did horrible things to you. Trust me, all I'm offering you is power, power to not be afraid anymore." Reckhin spoke.
For a minute, Tosin paused, contemplating on what the Demon just told him. Lagos was a tough city to grow in, and him as a fugitive wasn't helping anyways.
"Alright, I accept. So who is this powerful being?" He responded sharply.
"Azazel...son of Azu"

It was night and Ahmad was in his bedroom, recollecting all that had happened that morning. How he had met with a Demon, bonded and started conversing like brothers.
It was all too much for him to understand. Why hadn't he feared Azazel afterwards? Why did Azazel seem to familiar?
"You okay?" It was his junior brother. He gave a smile and nodded.
"Okay, snub." His brother, Ayodeji scoffed and jumped on the bed.
Knowing nothing was to be done, he shut his eyes, embracing a deep, warm sleep.
Suddenly he arose, feeling his body and environs were on fire. He fluttered his eyelids and cowered. Before him was a death scene, the streets filled with bodies of young women and girls, all bleeding from the neck and vagina while the surroundings burned.
"Azazel, you seeing this?" He asked lowly.
"Yes. I'm confused, this isn't real. It's an illusion. Could we be under attack?" Azazel replied with a confusing question.
"You can't run from this." A voice growled from a distance and suddenly, the dead women and girls rose, reaching for him, pulling him into the center of the inferno.
"No, I don't want this." He screamed and woe up.
"It was just a dream." He sighed and shut his eyes.
Just a dream.

"Uncle Dele." A little girl screamed as he walked into a house.
"Hey Zara. Bet you missed me." He replied, lifting her then brushing his nose against hers.
"Dele?" A voice questioned.
"Yes sister, I'm home." He replied cheekily and settled on the couch with Zara on his shoulder.
"What brings you here? You're never not busy" his older sister, a middle-aged woman, stout with gold hair asked, passing a bottle of water towards him.
"Zara, I got you a new Toy. Have it." He told the girl, removing a pack from his bag and handing it to her.
"It's a surprise." He added and the young girl ran with the toy up to her room, excited.
"So why are you here? You and I know you don't ever want to talk to the family." She asked with a stern look.
"You guys are fûcking freaks, you're killers, I had to stay away from y'all." He replied boldly, a trace of anger in his eyes.
"We only killed those that attempted to kill us...the fucking hunters. All we want is a normal life devoid of violence and blood but somehow, the deluded hunters still want to end our peace." She responded furiously.
"Whatever, y'all freaks." He scoffed.
"Freaks? Those people took us in after our parents died, raised us as their own and wanted to bless us with their abilities so life would be easier for you but you rejected it.
See Dele,I don't have time for this emotional squabble. If you don't have a damn thing to say, leave. I fûcking regret us being siblings!" She flared.
For a second, Dele cowered.
"I'm sorry, it's just this case I'm working on, first there's three murders, all girls between 18 and 20, their necks were slit and now there's an incident, I found dead bodies, all dried up like they were electrocuted. There were no witnesses and now,I'm fucking seeing things!" He complained.
"So what do you want from me?" She asked.
"I'm worried, I needed someone to talk to you and you're my family, I'm worried there are supernatural forces out there and might hurt you." He said calmly. She smiled, rubbing his head.
"Don't worry about me Dele, you should be worried about yourself and someone else."
"Who?"
"Ahmad."
"The Okes' first son?"
"Yes"
"Why?"
"I sense a supernatural Presence in him, a Hell Demon's." I trust he's related to all of these.
"So you're saying he's the one committing the murders?"
"No, idiot. He might be the cause but it doesn't necessarily mean he's the murderer. Trust me, there's a lot of things that'll happen. You should be prepared." She responded and got up.
"Was going to get something at the supermarket. I'll be back in 5, take care of Zara, okay?" She said and left the house, leaving a confused Dele to himself.

The day seemed peaceful enough. Ahmad was at the skills acquisition centre, running an errand for his tutor.
It was noon and the sun was warm. He wiped a brow of sweat off his forehead as he reached the centre, giving his tutor the material he had instructed him to get.
In a flash, a sound resonated with his mind, causing him to stumble a bit.
"Are you okay boy?" His tutor asked.
"Yes sir,I'm fine. I just need some water." He responded.
Suddenly, an explosion occurred outside, a car blew up in flames, its parts flying around, some getting iñto the centre and hurting people.
Outside was Tosin, his body engulfed in electricity, he was soaring through the air, striking at things, wreaking unprecedented havoc.
"I seek not to harm you puny humans." He yelled as people ran away from the plaza for safety.
"It appears as though my target is here. Azazel, come out and face me. Let not these people's deaths." He yelled as he struck the heel of a man running.
Ahmad tried to dial the police but his phone was off, same with everyone's. He looked around and saw people fleeing. They were going to die because of him.
"Azazel, you got an issue to settle." He grunted.
"I don't know him, prolly a kid possessed by a Demon whose sister I dumped." The latter responded.
"Guy what the hell? People are going to die. Let's just stop this." Ahmad yelled.
"Alright, just don't get hurt." Azazel responded and a shield appeared on his face with flames engulfing it, concealing his identity.
"You never told me about your abilities, idiot." Ahmad grunted again.
"Oh that? Metal, basically metal."
"Dude what the hell? We're facing someone who wields electricity. We're so dead." Ahmad replied and jumped out of the plaza, facing Tosin.
"I see you've become what they call you now, a weakling, attached to this weak race. Nevertheless, your soul has been paid for." The latter uttered, sending a jolt of electricity towards him.
Crossing his arms, Ahmad blocked the attack but it was so strong, it threw him off his feet, causing him to land on his back. He sprung up, curling his arms into a tight fist.
Suddenly he jumped, driving a punch to Tosin in the air. The latter caught his fist and sent a wave of electricity into his body then grabbed his neck, slamming him into the ground.
He drove a punch to his face, causing his shield to crack.
Ahmad kicked his buttock, throwing him off him momentarily. He used the opportunity to hurl a metallic ball at him, thrusting him forward. He grabbed his foot and slammed him on the ground.

As people ran to safety, a young woman stood at her balcony, using a camera to capture the fight between Ahmad and the electric boy.
"Azazel is weak, I swear to God, I want to rip his throat off right now." She spoke.
"Sadly, we can't. We still need him." Her husband, a man, looking as young as she was responded, grabbing her waist.
"We have to let go of the past. We need him to find them." He added.
"*Sighs*. So, we're helping him now?" She asked.
"Yes, please do it for our kids. For God's sake that could be our kid he's using his body. We can't let him ruin an innocent kid's life. We'll just do it and if he still turns out to be the son of a bitch he was, I'll kill him, I promise." He argued, convincing her.
"Okay hun, let's just see where this leads to." She replied, watching the fight.
.
.
.
"Whoa, super strength? I had no idea!" Ahmad exclaimed and conjured a spear, stabbing it into Tosin's leg, pinning him to the ground.
"We need to talk. You can't just pop up attacking people like a shocker, asking for someone." He spoke.
Tobi smiled "Shocker, I like the name." He muttered then blasted Ahmad with an electrical wave, throwing him off balance, he pulled the spear off him and coated it with electricity, hurling it towards the former who caught it and fell, electrocuted.
"You're weaker than they say." He spoke, kicking Ahmad in the abdomen.
"You're powerless." He grabbed his neck, driving a punch to his face with the other fist, causing a dent on the helmet.
"You're useless." He growled and slammed him on the ground. Ahmad was on the verge of losing consciousness.
"Azazel, please do something." He mumbled then shut his eyes. Just as Azazel was about to emerge, Tosin shocked Ahmad again, causing him to fall back into the body.
"Leave him." A voice, Rekhin's voice spoke over the comms.
Shocker lowered an unconscious Ahmad on the floor with a satisfactory smile on his face.
"We'll get him later, leave." The voice instructed again and he disappeared into the electrical lines on the street.
Just then, the young woman from the building watching the fight arrived at Inhuman speed, carrying him.
"Sorry kid, it's just how things are." She whispered and rushed him back to her house.
