Ahmad's eyes fluttered open and he slowly regained consciousness. The light in the room he found himself in was off and from what he saw from the window,it was dark already.
"Where the Hell am I?" He asked, sitting up, his back against the bed's Head rest.
"Oh,you're awake." The woman who had saved him earlier spoke, walking into the room.
He recalled her voice mumbling something while he was in a dark void but couldn't pin point what it was she said.
"Take it easy kid." She placed her palms on his chest as he tried to get off the bed.
"Who are you, please?" He asked, obviously frightened.
"Relax, I saw how shocker beat you badly, Azazel and I felt I should help." She replied.
"Wait, you know Azazel?" The boy asked, amazed.
"Apparently, all shocker was yelling was 'Azazel, get your ass out here'." She mimicked, causing a brief chuckle from him.
"Thank you so much, I could be out cold but you helped me. I really appreciate this ma'am but I have to go home now." He spoke and placed his feet on the floor.
"Yes, I know. The name's Matilda and my husband, Sam is in the Garden, attending to his flowers. Anyways, if you need help or wanna talk, I'll be here. Just show up." She stretched her hand for a handshake.
"Well, the name's Ahmad." He responded, receiving the shake.
"Are you like me?" He asked as they walked out of the bedroom.
"Kind of. I'm a shape shifter, a Werewolf." She replied and walked him out of the house.
"Awesome!" He exclaimed.
"I guess you know your way home now. Take care, kid." She spoke and planted a kiss on his forehead, waving him goodbye.
Ahmad was just puzzled, why was she treating him like she was his mother?
Well that didn't matter, all he needed at the moment was to go home and rest.

It was the fight scene which had now become a crime scene. The police had taped the area, investigating.
Dele and Daisy were also at the scene, it wasn't an attack in their district but it was a similar case to what they were solving, they could, at least be there, observing the evidences conjured.
"A boy is missing, the Okes' son." Daisy spoke.
"I know, I'm guessing he fled too." Dele replied bluntly.
"Fled?" The only witness we have spoke of two boys, one, covered in flames, was besought while the other covered in electricity attacked. For God's sake, the kid could have been the one in flames." She argued.
"I thought the same until I found this." He said and removed Ahmad's phone from his pocket.
"Like every other phone, it was shut down as the attacker began his attacks. His siblings told me the password and guess the last application on his cache."
"Call log?"
"No, the camera. He obviously was trying to record it and his phone shut down. Realizing he could be dead, he fled. That's the most logical explanation we have." He convinced her.
"*Sighs* If you say so. I'll still say the kid needs to be studied." She spoke softly.
Just then, his phone rang and he answered it.
"Hello Ma." He spoke.
"Oh, this isn't Mrs Oke, Ahmad's Mum?" He squinted his eyebrows.
"I guess it was a misunderstanding, your number was stored as Mama. Oh, you want to speak to Ahmad. Well, I'm his uncle, also an inspector and it appears your friend dropped his phone while fleeing from a crime scene." He communicated.
"Okay, sure. Please, if he shows up at your place, do well to inform us. Thank you." He said and hung up.
"You weren't even professional with her." Daisy punched him playfully and left him at the scene. He stared at it one last time, remembering what his sister had told him.
It was scary, knowing a teenager like Ahmad was now a Demon. All he hoped for was his return and having a communication with him on his "uniqueness".

Tosin appeared in a huge working space, the new one set up by Rekhin as an organization.
"I thought my job was just to kill him. Why did you tell me to withdraw?" He asked.
Rekhin chuckled and shook his head.
"You never cease to amuse me, boy."
"What's amusing about this? I'm supposed to do a job for you and you stop it, now I'm at your service, working as your assassin." He spoke again.
"And that is what I want." Rekhin yelled, making Tosin cower for some seconds.
Suddenly, Rekhin grabbed him by the shirt collar, raising him against the wall.
"You're hopeless, nobody would help you other than me. It's best you do what I want and get the life you deserve." He uttered and lowered the boy.
"Yes.." Tosin muttered and left the space, scared to the marrow.

"Hey,I'm home!" Ahmad yelled as he opened the door. His parents jumped up from their seats, already worried.
They pulled him into a quick embrace, almost choking the life out of him.
"Ahmad, where have you been?" His mother asked.
"I'm fine now Mom, Alhamdulilah." He answered briefly.
"You aren't. You've been missing for over 5 hours now, what happened at the centre today? Where did you flee to? Were you hurt?" She rushed him with questions.
"Nah,I'm fine. Yeah,I fled and a blast occured, knocking me off my feet. By the time I woke up, I found myself in the bush just off the road I had run to hide. I'm fine." He lied, hoping they wouldn't question him anymore.
"Well, that's satisfactory. I'll call Dele and inform him you're fine." His father spoke and settled on a sofa, resuming watching the news.
His Mom left for the kitchen while he watched the Headline.
"Mysterious Attack in Lagos?" The headline read as the supposed expert was giving his analysis that it was probably a chemical weapon that could be easily manipulated amongst people.
He just shook his head.
"What do they know?" He questioned.
"Absolutely nothing." Azazel replied telepathically.
"Are you crazy? Where the fuck have you been?"
"Out cold, I just woke up." Azazel protested.
"You're hopeless."
"So, Ahmad, we'll have to talk about your friends, one called Mama." His father said, interrupting his mind's communication.
"Oh shît, we're so screwed." Azazel chuckled.

Daisy switched off her car's ignition. She was now in front of her house, one she shared with her family. She said a quick prayer, reminiscing on all that had happened in the past few days.
"It'll be over soon." She whispered and alighted, walking into the house.
"It's not Friday, why are you home?" A voice startled her. She froze momentarily.
"Dad." She sighed, embracing the man whose voice spoke.
"Hey hun, I saw the news. I guess they're crawling out of their caves now." He spoke again.
"The murders, you think the Wendigos did it?" She questioned.
"Wendigos eat, they don't murder. Still, I'm sure it's a shape shifter and we'll hunt them all."
"Hunt them all? How can we? There's a freak that can fry people with jolts of electricity." She protested.
He laughed, she knew nothing.
"You are yet to know everything. Trust me, there's a lot more about us than just being hunters. Soon, it'll all be clear." He said and left for the passage.
"Where are you going?" She asked.
"To hunt a supernatural." He smirked and blended with the dark corner of the passage.

It was midnight and the moon, barely a Crescent, was reflecting the brightest it could unto the night.
A girl ran as fast as the wind through the streets and right behind her was a boy of similar build. She dashed through a corner and crashed, causing the sand to scatter around.
"Hey, easy okay?" The boy said and stretched his arm to pull her. She grabbed it and he pulled her up.
"You'll master your abilities soon, just don't force it." He told her.
"Hmph, I can do better, I just need more practice." She scoffed.
"I know. I was also this way when I first got turned but with time, I got the hang of it."
"And now, you are the great Alpha." She added.
Now, both were walking down the street, exhausted from the night's activities.
"Do you think the Crimson Wolf and the Moon Wolf are real?" She asked, breaking the silence.
"Honestly, I've always believed it's just a legend, even my Alpha had his doubts but with the crazy thing that occured today, I'm sure there's a 90% chance they are real." He replied with a disturbed tone.
Suddenly, his ears picked a sound and he stopped.
"You hear that?" He asked.
"Hear what?" She asked, stopping too.
His ears twitched twice and he squinted his eyeballs, peering into the dark corners of the avenue. With a gasp, he yelled.
"Run." He instructed and she didn't wait for a second more before picking a pace, leaving the area.
"For a teenager, you make a pretty mature Alpha." A voice spoke from the shadows.
"What do you want from us? You've killed our kind despite the fact that we haven't hurt humans." The Alpha yelled.
"Eleazar. Did I guess correctly?"
Eleazar just stared at him furiously, anger swelling in him.
"We obliterate threats and you, my friend, are a threat."
"I'm no friend of yours." Eleazar barked.
"But a threat? I'll gladly be your nightmare." He added and shifted, sprouting his nails and fangs with facial hair grown.
"You badly want to fight." The Hunter, who had now made a full appearance chuckled.
"Shut up." Eleazar said, roared and attacked, aiming his claws at the hunter's shoulder. The Hunter stepped back a bit and drove a kick to Eleazar's knees, weakening his stance. He spun, delivering a kick with his right heel at the Werewolf's face, causing the latter to lose consciousness momentarily. He speared him and lifted him, smashing him on the floor. Eleazar howled painfully, and kicked wildly, managing to drive the hunter off him.
He sprung up and dashed towards the hunter, making a spin at the last minute, faking his attack. The Hunter had fallen for it and thrusted his arms forward. Eleazar slit his back with his claws and punched his neck, throwing him forward. He also delivered a low kick to the back of his knees, making him fall on the floor.
He got on his back and pressed the hunter's face to the earth, causing a slight crack on the ground.
"Don't make me kill you. Leave and don't you ever return." He compelled and got off him, racing out of the street.
"Master, it's true. The boy has improved." The Hunter reported into his comms and got up, disappearing into thin air.
To be continued....
