Ahmad stared at his bedroom's ceiling. His parents had punished him, seizing his phone for 24 hours with no TV access while they were gone. The centre had been shut down due to the previous day's attack and he was awaiting Inspector Dele to question him.
"You know all of these would have been avoided if you had told me about your abilities." He scoffed.
"Oh really? I'm not the one who couldn't resist moulding spears to strike the opponent. And yes, I'm not the one that saved my girlfriend's number as Mama and Mum's as Mum." Azazel clapped back.
"I literally saved Mum's as UY scutti."
"0 cares man."
Then silence ensued, only the twirling of the fan's blades resonated through the room.
A couple of knocks sounded on the living room's door and he sprung up, answering it.
"Good afternoon Uncle Dele." He greeted the man who was awaiting him at the entrance.
"Kiddo, I'm glad you're fine." He replied with a smile and settled on a couch, Ahmad sitting opposite his side.
"I know you're wondering why I didn't bring you in for questioning at the station."
Ahmad nodded.
"Well, we have to talk Ahmad. What has been happening?" He asked with a serious tone. One that made Ahmad tremble momentarily.
"How?" He asked, a bit confused.
"I know you're being secretive. You saw something about the disaster that occurred." Dele pressed.
"I just saw an electric wielding freak, tried to record, ran off and a shockwave occurred. I woke up, finding myself in a bush." He lied, his heart beating wildly.
Dele stared deep into his eyeballs, studying them then he broke the silence.
"See, some things have been happening lately. First, there's 3 murders that occurred in the last 7 days, all were girls, slit on the throat. Then in Agege, me and my partner found a pool of dead bodies, all electrocuted.
I shouldn't be telling you this but I know you know something, given the fact that who attacked the centre must have been the cause of the Agege dead pool. So please, Ahmad tell me something!" He explained, ending his sentence with a yell.
"Tell him." Azazel spoke from within.
"Tell him what? That I've bonded with a Demon and guess what? He'll report us to his superiors, they'll report to the Government and they would present me to scientists who would cut me up, experimenting on me!" He retorted.
"He would do no such thing and for the record, I'm not scared of any Government, I'm scared we could be hurt by them...the supernatural hunters. So, for the sake of your girlfriend, tell him." Azazel convinced the boy.
With a sigh, he looked up to his Uncle.
"Okay, I agree, I know something. In fact, I am something itself." He confessed.
"I know, you are a Demon." Dele replied calmly, shocking him.
"I knew, I just had to confirm it." He added, hoping it would provide some relief for the boy.
"Okay, trust me, your secret is safe with me. I just guess we would have to work hand in hand to stop whatever madness that is infesting Lagos." He added too, easing the boy's mind.
"I'll gladly work with you sir but I've got a question, you don't think I committed those murders, do you?" He asked.
Dele laughed and slapped his left thigh.
"You didn't do it. You were a hero yesterday, heroes don't go around slitting the throats of millionaires' daughters." He replied then something dawned upon him.
"A pattern." He snapped his fingers then got up.
"I'll stay in touch with you later, gotta go." He said and walked out of the house.
"Well, that was a safe one." Azazel spoke, emerging in his Astral form.
"Now we know you have enemies, and I have an ally. What's the next course of action?" Ahmad asked.
"We meet your allies."

Eleazar was in a hall, a throne located at the centre. On it was a man with fair skin, he had a wild hair cut and seemed to carry an aura of authority with him.
In the same hall were several people lined against the wall, some sitting on chairs while others were standing, awaiting the young Alpha's announcement.
"Alpha Steven, the hunters are back." He spoke, causing a burst of panick in the room.
"They never left." Steven replied curtly, cutting off the uproar.
"You made a peace treaty with them years ago, I agree but they are breaking it. Yesterday, I was with my beta, teaching her how to master her abilities and we were attacked by a hunter who had attempted to assassinate me. I got lucky and we escaped." He explained. Suddenly, murmurs whispered across the room.
"Silence!" Alpha Steven spoke and arose from his throne.
"We shall talk about you sireing a Beta Without my permission later. For now, I commend your bravery.
Oh Moonlight pack, the hunters have decided to breach our agreement and have resorted to hunting our kind again. Believe me, I shall not let this go unpunished. For now, I want us all to avoid organisations at nights, save for the blue moon and when I call for a pack meeting. We would fight back, I promise. I just want us to be alive to do so." He spoke and was responded with cheers and claps.
He dragged Eleazar into a room and locked it.
"What did the Hunter say?" He asked.
"Nothing much, he only taunted my being a True Alpha." The boy replied.
"We have to be vigilant now, I can't afford to lose any of my Pack members. Send word to the Cursed Wolf and his mate, informing them of the Hunters' reappearance." He ordered.
"Yes sir." Dele answered sharply.
"And one more thing. You did well by ensuring your beta was safe. I'm proud of you boy." He added, causing a delightful smile on the young Alpha's face.
"Thank you sir." He appreciated and dashed out of the room.

Kemuel and Andy, the twin brothers of the murdered girl alighted the car.
"We'll be leaving in an hour." Kemuel instructed the driver, waving him off.
"You really are keen on avenging sister. Would the Pack support our cause?" Andy asked as they moved to the mansion's gate.
"Eleazar would." Kemuel shrugged and opened the gate. Suddenly, Eleazar collided into him, sending both of them to the floor.
"Hey,you okay?" Andy asked, pulling his twin up.
"I'm fine. Eleazar. What's up? You seem to be in a hurry." He asked.
"Oh me? I've got a message for someone. Sorry about your loss." He apologized.
"Yeah, thanks. That's why we're here." Andy spoke.
"What? You think a rival pack did this?" The young Alpha asked with his eyes widened in surprise.
"No, not that. One thing we know for sure is that the killer is a supernatural. All we want is to avenge our sister and we've come to seek the Pack's help." Kemuel replied.
Eleazar chuckled and peered into the bushes at the far corner of the land.
"They can't. The Hunters are back." He uttered.
"They're dangerous?" The twins asked in unison.
"Yeah, right now that's all the pack cares about, they wouldn't grant you aid for your mission." He responded sharply.
"Damn, I guess we're doing it alone." Kemuel suggested.
"No, I'll help you guys. Me, Funke and you guys. We could form a make shift park just to tackle this. I've got to go, I promise, I'll reach out to you guys tonight."
"Thanks Eleazar, we owe you a lot." Kemuel appreciated with a hug.
"Yeah, gotta go now." He said and dashed off.
"You find him hot." Andy laughed.
"No I don't, idiot." Kemuel fumed.

"You called for me." Tosin said, appearing before Rekhin.
"Yes, yes. I've got a mission for you tonight." He said.
"And that is?"
"I want you to kill two people dear to Azazel. I'll send you coordinates of them. You have to be on your way now."
Tosin signed, turning to leave.
"I know you want answers. You want to know why you are like this, you want to know why the universe has been cruel to you. After a successful mission, I'll provide you with answers." Rekhin spoke.
Filled with determination, Tosin snapped, disappearing into the electrical cables.
"Foolish child." Rekhin smirked and faced the computer before him.
"Now, the stock market."

"You okay?" Matilda asked Ahmad who had a worried look.
"Yeah." Ahmad lied. Just then, Sam walked in.
"Hey son, you can share anything with us. We're pretty much the same. We'll help each other out." He said, patting him on the back.
"Yeah, the thing is, my uncle(he's a family friend though). He came to question me today and told me about a case they were solving, teenage girls, all slit on the throat in the past 7 days. Then Shocker I fought yesterday, he had also committed a murder in Agege, causing a Deadpool of electrified bodies. I'm scared, with my new abilities,I could land my family in trouble." He spoke out.
"Awwn, I understand. I felt the same way when I first discovered I was a Werewolf. I had always reasoned the hunters would just hunt my family just to eradicate me and my kind but they didn't." She replied.
"And your family? They're away?" He asked.
"No, they were murdered." Sam replied sharply, pain sounding in his voice.
"You mentioned Hunters." Eleazar spoke, zooming into the living room.
"Bad news, they're back." He blurted.
"Jesus. They're going to come for the Pack." Sam exclaimed.
"I'm afraid they want more. It seems yesterday's occurrence triggered them. It seems as though they're targeting specific creatures. I was with Funke yesterday, helping her harness her abilities and one attacked. Apparently he was an immature but still, he could have killed me or her with Wolfsbane, he just chose physical combat." He explained.
"They're upgrading." Sam interrupted.
"Upgrade?"
"Yeah, there are two levels of being a supernatural hunter. The first is being a normal hunter, a mortal with weapons and there was the other, a supernatural itself but with the aim of killing other supernaturals." He further explained.
"I'm kind of lost here." Ahmad interrupted.
"They're obviously upgrading the army. This means something huge is coming, a very powerful supernatural is on its way and they're not strong enough to take it down." Matilda added.
She looked at Ahmad, she knew why this was happening, Azazel's presence was stirring trouble.
"Hear something?" Ahmad asked, interrupting their conversation.
"What?" They all asked, turning to face him.
"Like a live wire. Oh shït, shocker." He spoke and in the moment, shocker jumped into the living room, ,knocking him off his feet.
With precision, he shot electric bolts towards Sam and Matilda, throwing them against the wall.
Eleazar immediately shifted and made to strike him, he sped behind him, stabbing his spine, infusing electric currents into it.
In that moment, Ahmad grabbed him and hurled him out of the house, unto the road.
"What do you want from me?" He yelled, engulfing himself in flames as the helmet concealed his identity.
"Your death." Shocker resonated, attacking him with a blow to the head.
Ahmad swerved left, grabbing the arm, pulling him close and delivered a flaming fist to his face, making shocker stagger backwards.
Angered, the latter flared, torrents of electric waves flowing on his body.
"Okay, he's going to fry me." Ahmad muttered, taking a stance.
"That's when you upgrade." Azazel responded and Ahmad sprouted flaming horns.
Both boys clashed, causing a wave of heat and electricity spreading across the area through the atmosphere.
Both separated, now taking stances. Ahmad shot two knives at him. Shocker swerved and in that moment, Ahmad rushed, delivering a punch to his side, breaking his ribs. He landed another blow on his face, causing him to fall.
"Kill him." Azazel whispered.
"What? No." Ahmad responded, refraining his arm that had now been coated in a sharp blade.
"He tried to kill you, he just attacked your friends. Don't you get it? Letting him go, he would target your loved ones next. Kill him." Azazel argued.
"So it isn't us now? It's you. I'm beginning to rethink you're helping me." He responded
Ahmad paused, pondering over what he had just heard.
"I'm helping you. I just don't want stupidity to take over you." Azazel retorted.
Shocker, who had begun to regain consciousness struck Ahmad on the knee then punched his chest, throwing him on his back.
"You are weak." He said within breaths. As he made to strike Ahmad again, an arrow pierced his chest, causing him to stagger. He removed the arrow and started bleeding. Without uttering a word, he fell unconsciously.
"What the Hell?" Ahmad asked and stood and looked behind him. He saw a person dressed in an all black uniform with a cloak.
"Hunter." Azazel muttered.
Just as he made to flee, he got struck by an arrow and he fell. The last thing he saw was the hunter closing in on him then shooting someone from a distance before he shut his eyes.
"Master, I have the boy." The Hunter spoke.
"Bring him." A voice replied from the other end.
"What about the other one?"
"Leave him, the Demon child is paramount." Was the response he got and cut off the communication.
The Hunter lifted an unconscious Ahmad and disappeared instantly, leaving an unconscious Shocker and Eleazar who had come to save Ahmad.
