The man tilted his head slightly, as if he was studying Min-beom's appearance with curiosity and suspicion. His grip tightened on his collar, making Min-beom feel suffocated.
"Who are you?" The man asked in a low and cautious tone, showing his distrust.
Min-beom became a bit nervous as he gave him an awkward smile, trying to hide his fear.
"Chun Min-beom."
He answered casually as he glanced at the tunnel. It was a bit crowded with people and his companions were there.
The man followed his gaze to the tunnel, then threw him to the ground with force. Min-beom let out a painful groan when he landed on the hard surface, feeling his bones ache.
"Sounds like a stupid name." The man insulted as he clenched his sword, showing his disdain.
Min-beom looked up at him, all badly injured as he coughed up blood. He felt a sharp pain in his chest, but he couldn't help but smirk to himself, feeling a strange amusement.
"Are… Are you going to kill me?" He asked, not showing any terror but rather a hint of sarcasm. Min-beom panted heavily as he continued to cough, feeling his life slipping away.
The man raised his eyebrow as he squatted down to the ground, looking at him coldly. His eyes were like ice, piercing through Min-beom's soul.
"Do you want me to?"
The man asked in a cold tone, showing no mercy. His sword pointed at Min-beom's neck, threatening to end his life.
He stood up, looking down at the poor man who had been injured badly. He showed no pity or compassion, only contempt.
"What's your purpose here?" The man demanded an answer, showing his impatience and anger. His sword pointed at Min-beom's neck, ready to strike.
Min-beom felt a surge of pain as the blood kept oozing from his wound and nose. He smeared the crimson liquid off his face with his sleeve and managed a weak smile, despite the throbbing ache in his sides.
"Kim Joo-seok, is it?"
He evaded the man's inquiry as the man lowered his sword, a flash of surprise in his golden orbs. He snarled and lunged at Min-beom, wrapping his fingers around his neck. He squeezed hard, cutting off Min-beom's air supply.
"How the hell do you know my name?" The man barked, his golden eyes blazing with curiosity and anger.
"Ah, maybe knowledge." Min-beom rasped, his voice barely audible as he maintained his smile, taunting the man and trying to act confident.
All of the sudden, the screen information appeared out of nowhere, displaying the man's information.

The screens disappeared when Min-beom dismissed it in front of him.
The man grew more irritated as he tightened his grip on Min-beom's windpipe, making him gasp for air.
"You bastard…" The man spat as he increased the pressure, intent on killing Min-beom.
[The character, Kim Joo-seok is suspects you.] A screen popped up in front of Min-beom and then disappeared in a short period.
"You… You don't exist… why the hell are you here?"
The man muttered under his breath as he continued to strangle Min-beom, who couldn't help but choke for air, wheezing and feeling himself losing consciousness.
Min-beom's eyes widened in shock when the man muttered.
'No… Wait what?.. What timeline am I in?' Min-beom closed his eyes as he felt his body growing weaker, his face turning pale and the blood in his veins slowly draining. He couldn't feel anything as he felt the man let go of his throat, tossing him to the ground again.
[Several Gods are complaining why is everything censored.]
'This isn't the first round…' He continued to cough up blood, feeling a stabbing pain in his sides as he stared up at the man, who looked down on him with contempt.
The man plunged his sword into Min-beom's coat as he crouched down. "Tell me, what the hell are you doing here?" Joo-seok demanded, his golden eyes shining.
Suddenly, his eyes turned red, Min-beom realized what it meant when they changed color.
'Damn it…! I almost forgot he could read minds and view deeper through the person's information!'
Min-beom clenched his eyes shut as Joo-seok jerked his head back, feeling a throbbing pain in his head, like he was electrocuted.
"What the hell!?" Joo-seok yelled as he dropped his sword, Min-beom opened his eyes, raising his eyebrows as the man groaned in agony.
[The character, Kim Joo-seok is now locked out to view your information.]
A screen appeared in front of Min-beom as he raised his eyebrows in confusion.
'Locked… out? What the hell does this mean? What's blocking him to use his abilities? This never happened before in the novel at all...'
A screen popped up in front of Joo-seok as he looked at it. [Something is blocking you to view this character's information!]
[Your abilities "Mind Reading and Eden's Eyes" are forcefully blocked by something.]
Joo-seok's eyes returned to normal, turning gold once again as he glanced at Min-beom with bewilderment and anger.
"Who… Who the hell really are you?" Joo-seok said coldly, his eyes wide open as Min-beom shrugged. "I already told you! Chun Min-beom!"
"I don't believe such a thing." Joo-seok said as he seized Min-beom by the collar, dragging him to the edge where the sea monsters lurked below. He looked down as his face turned pale.
'Is he really going to kill me now!?..'
"Now, die." Joo-seok said coldly, a faint smile creeping onto his face as he let go of Min-beom, whose eyes widened and whose memories flashed before him, but he felt calm and free.
'Oh… I am going to die.'
*Splash!*
When Min-beom plunged into the deep cold waters, he could hear the growls of the creatures, he felt a cold shock run through his body, numbing his senses. He couldn't see anything but darkness, swallowing him whole. He couldn't hear anything but his own heartbeat, fading away.
He was meeting his end.
Was he?
