They all stepped into the domain; they felt a cold blast of air as they shivered and gasped, feeling the chill and shock when they arrived in the dungeon. Min-beom shivered, wrapping his black coat around him as he tried to keep himself warm and comfortable.
The domain was a frozen wasteland, covered with snow and ice. In the distance, he could see a towering mountain, crowned with a swirling vortex of dark clouds as he felt a sense of awe and dread, seeing the majesty and danger.
He could hear the howl of the wind and the roar of thunder as he felt a surge of fear and excitement, hearing the noise and its power.
The dungeon of Destiny, known to be the Queen of this dungeon, exactly like in the novel.
The others started to move, holding onto their weapons as they looked around, feeling alert and cautious. Min-beom summoned his sword as he felt its weight and edge, feeling ready and confident.
'I should take out some Frost Silks…' He opened his attribute screen and went to his inventory; he pressed the icon of the Frost Silk as he felt it appear in his hand, feeling its texture and coldness. Min-beom quickly consumed it as he felt a throbbing pain in his throat for a short moment, feeling its effect and side effect before it subsided.
A screen appeared in a short period in front of him: "[Cold Resistance had been obtained temporarily! Your ATK has increased by 28% in 100s.]"
He looked around his surroundings, seeing the others consume some loot item as he saw them use different items rather than Frost Silks, feeling curious and surprised.
The others started to walk in the snowy path, Min-beom and his companions also walked cautiously as they scanned the area, feeling alert and careful.
Min-beom looked over to his side and glanced at the little girl who was all cold as he saw her shiver and hug herself, feeling concerned and sympathetic.
He couldn't help but feel a bit concerned as he took off his black coat and wrapped it around her as he tried to comfort and protect her, feeling kind and responsible.
Bon-hwa looked up, her eyes shining in gratefulness as she smiled and thanked him, feeling warm and happy.
"Thank you, Ahjussi." She said as she felt a bit warmer now, feeling relieved and grateful. Min-beom nodded as he ruffled her hair, feeling affectionate and proud.
He felt no chill at all, feeling the effect of the Frost Silk, feeling strong and resistant.
Min-beom and his companions stopped walking as they encountered a monster nearby as they heard its growl and saw its fur, feeling tense and ready.
Ha-wook shushed as he held onto his sword, feeling confident and brave. Not even a minute, he lunged at the creature that looked like a white wolf but massive as he moved swiftly and skillfully, feeling agile and powerful.
Ha-wook's sword pierced right through its leg, he felt the blade cut through the flesh and bone, feeling satisfied and victorious as the creature lets out a loud shriek.
He tilted his head from behind, signaling his companions to attack as he saw them nod and charge.
A screen appeared beside Ha-wook: "[The Vision, The Eight Swords is impressed by your strategy!]" as he saw the words and felt a surge of pride and joy, feeling praised and rewarded.
Min-beom pierced his sword right through the creature's face as he moved quickly and accurately, feeling skilled and ruthless.
He looked up, hearing the creature let out a loud shriek as he heard its pain and agony, feeling relieved and victorious before its lifeless body fell down the ground.
Seong-mi wiped the blood off her cheek as she felt the warm and sticky liquid, feeling disgusted and annoyed. She looked ahead of their path, there were three pathways.
"Hey guys, look." Seong-mi pointed at the path ahead of them, the right, the middle, and the left pathways as she saw them look at her direction, feeling curious and attentive.
She looked at Ha-wook, raising her eyebrows as she tried to communicate with him silently, feeling cooperative and smart. Jung-lee panted a bit heavily as he felt his chest rise and fall, feeling tired and exhausted.
He clenched onto his spear, looking at the path ahead of them as he tried to decide which way to go, feeling uncertain and cautious.
"I think it would be for the best if we separate." Jung-lee suggested as he spoke with a calm and rational tone, feeling logical and strategic.
Chun-ja nodded at his suggestion, "I agree with you, Dae-ssi." as she spoke with a firm and confident tone, feeling decisive and supportive.
They looked at Ha-wook, Seong-mi, Bon-hwa and Min-beom. Min-beom nodded, thinking it's a good choice too.
"I think you two are right, it's risky but it's for the best." He nodded at the suggestion as he spoke with a serious and honest tone, feeling realistic and brave along with Ha-wook.
"I think so too, but we should pick who we will go with." Ha-wook said as he spoke with a careful and considerate tone, feeling responsible and fair.
He looked at Seong-mi, he nodded at her as he tried to show his trust and respect, feeling loyal and friendly.
She nodded back. "We'll go at the right, Jung-lee and Chun-ja, you guys take the middle path."
Ha-wook suggested as he spoke with a clear and authoritative tone, feeling organized and confident. He went to the right direction with Seong-mi.
"H-Huh? Why him!?" Chun-ja complained as she spoke with a loud and embarrassed tone, feeling annoyed and flustered. Her cheeks turned red as she felt her face heat up, feeling shy and nervous.
She let out a deep sigh as she felt her frustration subside, feeling resigned and cooperative before heading to the mid direction.
"Let's just go…" She mumbled under her breath as she spoke with a low and reluctant tone, feeling unhappy and awkward. Jung-lee tagged behind her as he followed her pace, feeling all curious and amused.
Min-beom and Bon-hwa were left alone as they saw them leave, feeling isolated and uncertain.
The little girl started to walk in the left direction as she looked around, feeling curious and adventurous. Min-beom quickly caught up with her as he followed her steps, feeling protective and alert.
He clenched onto his sword as he felt its weight and edge, feeling ready and confident. He brought up his screen, seeing the effect of the loot item in 50s only. Min-beom went to his inventory and pressed the icon of the Frost Silk.
It appeared in his hand as he felt its texture and coldness, feeling its power and usefulness. He ate it as he felt a pain in his throat but subsided pretty quickly, feeling its effect and resistance.
Bon-hwa stopped as she saw something ahead, feeling scared and cautious. She tilted her head to Min-beom and pointed at the two-headed massive dog with white fur and blue piercing eyes.
He felt a cold sweat as he saw the creature's size and eyes, feeling its danger and hostility. He realized this could be the path to Destiny's tower, her castle.
"Ahjussi…" The little girl said as she ran beside him and tugged onto his sleeves, feeling nervous and insecure. The two-headed dog creature hissed at them as it saw them as prey, feeling hungry and aggressive.
Min-beom held her closer to him as he tried to protect and comfort her, feeling responsible and caring. The two headed dogs lunged at them as they moved swiftly and fiercely, feeling eager and ruthless.
"Quick! Summon something! -"
He suggested as he spoke with an urgent and desperate tone, feeling panicked and helpless but was cut off by a sudden dark energy burst, making the two headed creatures shriek loudly in pain as they felt a powerful and painful force, feeling shocked and hurt, enough to break their eardrums as they covered their ears.
The creature's body dropped dead in the ground and melted; everything was foggy a bit. His eyes widened as he saw the dark energy dissipate, feeling surprised and curious.
He realized the power came from behind as he felt a presence approaching them, feeling tense and wary. The person from behind walked towards them, stepping at the creature's flesh as they showed no disgust or emotion, feeling cold and indifferent.
Min-beom backed off a little as he tried to create some distance, feeling threatened and cautious.
The fog cleared, revealing the person as he saw their face and clothes, feeling shocked and scared. He held Bon-hwa closer to him, protecting her from any threats as he felt her tremble and whimper, feeling worried and sympathetic.
His eyes widened and he could feel a sweat on his forehead, feeling nervous and anxious. He could hear the little girl whimpering in fear as he heard her soft and scared voice, feeling sorry and protective.
He held her and tried to soothe her by patting her head gently as he felt her hair and skin, feeling affectionate and gentle. Min-beom shifted his gaze to the person as it pointed its sword to his throat.
He gulped in nervousness as he felt the blade touch his skin, feeling afraid and threatened. He met the person's golden eyes that were empty and cold as he saw their expressionless face, feeling their hatred and malice.
Kim Joo-seok. The protagonist of the novel.
