Lucian stopped in front of a pair of wooden doors and opened them to display the lavish area within. On each side of a stunning crimson and gold oriental carpeting were red velvet sofas. With their etched wood backs and armrests, these sofas were unlike anything she had ever seen. Even without the weight of any of the vampires sprawled out in the room, the delicate legs barely seemed capable of supporting her weight.
The center of the room has two sizable pool tables with smooth green surfaces. On one, the top was covered with a scattering of balls. The room's many arched windows had scarlet window seats and were draped in sheer, crimson drapes. The whole back wall was taken up by a bar, and the big mirror behind it cast light upon a plethora of liquor bottles. The walls in this room were barren, much like those in the others. Except for the pool tables and the bar, which may fit if vampires drank alcohol, none of these guys felt comfortable in this space.
