Her triumphant
Pagkaalis nina Stefan at Zavie sa meeting room, balibag na binato ni Hugo ang mga papeles na hawak niya. Lahat ay nagulat sa naging biglaang reaksyon niya.
"This meeting is over. You may all leave. I'm sorry about what happened lately." Agad niyang hinila si Eirlys palabas hanggang sa nakarating sila sa caféteria. Pansin ni Eirlys ang panay buntong-hininga nito. Pagkakuha niya ng inorder nila sa counter, umupo na siya sa tapat na upuan nito. They failed just like what she expected.
"I told you, right? Your plan probably won't work. I even threatened him but it seems like it doesn't work at all. Do you see that? The way he acted? The way he protects her? He even forgot about me, Hugo. But you know I won't stop. We even failed. Do you have another plan?" Dismayadong ani Eirlys. Umiling-iling siya bago humigop ng kape.
"I think I have." Napaangat ang ulo ni Eirlys.
"What is it? What do you have in mind?"
"I will get closer to his wife. In that way, you could get closer to him while I'm slowly getting along with her. Hindi ko alam kung gagana iyong plano ko pero sana. That's the last plan I had." She grinned as she sip her coffee. Tumango-tango siya bilang pagsang-ayon sa sinabi nito.
"That probably works. Mabuti na lang naisip mo 'yon. Ni hindi man lang kasi sumagi sa isip ko. Pero teka seryoso ka ba talaga dyan? You know exactly what Stefan does in return," anito.
"Yes. If this is the only way I could help you, I won't ever think twice," desididong saad niya.
Dalawang araw matapos ang araw na iyon, muling nagtagpo ang landas nina Zavie at Hugo sa park. He even pretended that she hadn't met her. He doesn't know her name, that's the thing. Pagkatapos nagmamadaling magpaalam sa kanya nito, palihim niya itong sinundan papunta sa bahay nito. He knows exactly where she lived. Halos ilang bahay lang pala ang pagitan nila. Napatingin siya sa kulay black-grey na kotse sa garahe. He knows that car. It was Stefan's.
He immediately called Eirlys and informed her about what he found.
"Hey. Can you guess what I just found out now?" He grinned. Narinig niya ang paghinga nang malalim nito sa kabilang linya.
"Yeah? Tell me then."
"I know where they live." Alam niyang natigilan ito. Ilang segundo bago ito nakapagsalita.
"You're not lying, aren't you?"
"Of course I'm not. Now, do you have any plans in your mind, Eirlys?"
"Hmm. I'll think about it first. Come on, tell me here the rest of the details when you get home." Then she hung up.
When he got home, he saw her waiting in the living room. Surely agitated more about the further details. Well, hindi naman siya nagkamali dahil pagkatapos niyang ikwento, kita na niya ang pagkainterest nito. She stood up.
"Anong pinapaplano mo ngayon? Mind telling me?" She faced him.
"I'll tell you once it becomes successful. Besides, what you figured out lately helped me a lot to make a plan afterwards. And I know exactly what to do so I could easily do the seduction plan. Thanks, by the way, Hugo." She went upstairs after that and left him dumbfounded.
"I will let you use me as long as you want. Just don't leave me hanging alone in the dark again. He was lucky, much luckier than I was. Because he was still the man you wanted and I'll never be him." He whispered to himself.
Simula nung araw na iyon, she hired someone to spy Zavie's house. Tila ba patuloy itong natutuwa sa mga nalalaman mula sa updates nito sa kanya. Sa isang iglap, she knows that her plan might be possible and successful. Walang sinuman ang dapat na humadlang sa mga plano niya. Not even the couple.
Hanggang sa nakaisip na siya ng paraan. Since she figured out that Zavie didn't come along with him, sinimulan na niya ang sunud-sunod na pagbisita sa opisina nito. On that same day, Stefan talked to the Hotel Receptionist.
"Where's Irish? Have you seen her? Hindi ko pa siya nakikita ngayong araw. I have urgent meetings. I need her to accompany me. Where is she?"
"Sir. She got sick today. She asked me to inform you 'cuz she couldn't make it today." He sighed in frustration.
"Why today? Hectic ang schedule ko!" Sigaw niya subalit napatigil siya nung may magsalita.
"I heard you need a helping hand today, right? Absent ang secretary mo? Why would you hire me instead?" She offered.
"I don't need you. I can call my wife to be my secretary's subtitute except you, Eirlys. I know what you were planning to say," he refused as he went straightly to the elevator. Agad siyang sinundan nito.
"Are you sure? I have nothing to do. I'm available for you, Stefan---"
"Just stop, will you? Nakakairita ka na. I told you already. Hindi kita kailangan kaya makakaalis ka na," inis na turan niya dito pero tila ba walang epekto dahil sumusunod pa rin ito sa kanya hanggang sa makarating sila sa opisina niya.
"It'll be difficult for you if you didn't hire me. You have urgent meetings, is that right? I could help you---"
"I said, GET OUT! Leave my office o baka gusto mo pang kaladkarin kita para tumahimik ka? I don't need your useless offers, Eirlys. I don't wanna see you starting this day onwards."
"Fine!" Anito as she stormed out of his office. He want a peace of mind. She will be just a distraction. Akala niya'y nakaalis na ito ng tuluyan at hindi na bumalik pa pero hindi pa pala ito nakakaalis dahil kasunod nito ang kliyente niya para sa meeting na magaganap.
"Mr. Clinford. Kailangan na ho kayo sa meeting room. They were waiting for you. Hold on. Where is your secretary, sir?" Magsasalita na sana siya subalit sumabat na ito.
"I am his secretary, sir. A substitute one or I can be the permanent," ani Eiryls. Napabuga na lamang siya sa hangin. He guesses he can't do anything since that meeting is urgent. He needs someone to write down the things he and the others will discuss. He had no choice. It was for the sake of his company.
"Damn you, Eirlys. Now, come along with me. Just don't do anything stupid. If you do, wala na akong pakialam kung mapahiya ka pa sa lahat. I'm warning you. Follow me." Nakangiti itong sumunod sa kanya na para bang patuloy itong nagtatagumpay sa pinapaplano nito. He knows she was planning something so he had to be aware of it and not be reckless.
