Chapter 3 - CHAPTER 1: STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND

There is absolutely nothing abnormal and ominous in waking up in a foreign place and to make matters worse the place also happens to be a dark forest with tall bushy trees.

Well that was the situation he was in so naturally he was confused and not just any confusion but serious confusion. And why was he confused well maybe it was because he had no idea how he got there, actually he had no idea of what had happened before waking up in that place.

It could also be because of his exaggerated sense of hearing which allowed him to perfectly hear the the singing of birds a few hundred metres away, the ants going about with their daily life in the anthill a few yards away and the sound made by trees as they grew now that is creepy but yes it was happening.

It also could have been the sudden unhealthy desire to find a juicy rhinoceros and sink his teeth into its tasty rough and hard skin raw.

And definitely it was the fact that he was sleeping half naked tightly cuddling with a petite elven girl with silky milky white skin a soft but small bulging chest, silver strands of hair so beautiful it was as if they were made of moon light and the girl was wearing nothing but a vulnerable and cute sleepy expression. His hair which was right under his nose gave off a scent of cherry blossoms both ticklish in his nostrils and sweet.

He had no idea how things had ended up like this as a matter of fact he had no idea of pretty much anything save a vague memory of a beautiful girl who seemed to arouse feelings of hatred and loathing in him. Despite being an amnesiac he still could tell that this situation was not an ideal one that is when he first noticed that something was strange within him. Here he was lying bareback with a completely nude elven beautiful girl who was vulnerable and exposed yet despite all that he did not feel any welling up of desires to take advantage of the girl nor did he even think of anything along those lines. It was not because he was the noble type nor the loyal type either but it was simply because he did not feel anything, he seemed to have lost his emotions along with his memory leaving him an empty shell.

The leaves rustled as the wind blew forth between them but he did not feel any cold or the likes even though the princess did curl herself more and snuggled on to him even more as if trying to forcefully get warmth from him.(An elf huh? And a high ranking one at that.)

He had no idea how he knew that but he was certain he was correct. Slowly he detached himself from the frail body of the elf and she shivered having lost her source of warmth. Afterwards he looked around trying to familiarize himself with his surrounding but___

(Just like I thought nothing looks familiar here.) After noting that he then realised that there were some fabrics hanging on a tree branch. Concluding that they were their clothes he approached the tree and took them. One was feminine and somewhat small while the other was of medium built. The feminine clothes were made of high quality silk and linen comprising of a one piece dress and a coat which was more of a robe full of fur. The masculine clothes comprised of a long sleeved black top with a tear in the middle and an equally obsidian overcoat. The heavy fur coat was still wet which he surmised was the reason they were both naked in the first place.

He took his coat or at the very least the one he assumed was his which was dry and used it to cover the sleeping beauty. Afterwards he proceeded to wear the black top that was when he noticed the huge stab wound which had healed in his abdomen and the one on the left side of his chest straight with where the heart is supposed to be, being an amnesiac he had no idea how he got those deadly wounds but he also did not understand how he had survived with such serious wounds in vital places.

"Arrrghhh."

When he tried to think about it he was struck by a massive headache causing him to let out a pained groan. The headache was gone just as fast as it had started leaving him in even greater confusion than before.
