She was the cutest thing Karlmine had ever since he was born, his memories where gone but he was at the very least sure of that. Judging from human years she appeared to be around fifteen years but with elves he had learnt that it is difficult to tell the age. A sudden urge to hug the lithe elf filled his entire being but he managed to restrain himself noting that for him it would be out if character.
"Erhm, Erhm how are you Sir my name is Lucinda I am the maid serving the Lady Arkheenah i-its nice_____"
"Lucinda."
Seeing her timidity he called to her with a loud but soft voice.
"Y-Yes!"
She yelped.
"Would it inconvenience you if I addressed you as Lucy?"
"No S-Sir."
"Very well you have my gratitude. You can call me Karlmine I will be in your care."
"Okay, Sir Karl-mine."
It seems being timid was the primary aspect of her existence but that is what made her even more cute.
"I was sent to deliver your food."
She placed it on the table which was near the bed allowing him to eat it whilst resting on the bed.
"You have my gratitude."
He said whilst washing his hands, ever since waking up with no memories he had felt nothing but seeing the young elf managed to arouse a little of what was left of his feelings the young elf reminded her of someone but she was not sure who it was save that she was very dear to him who ever it was.
Expectedly of food prepared by elves, all of it was natural. There were sliced fruits, some he recognised while others he did not. A glass of nectar prepared for him. Everything was juicy and succulent just from the layout. Staring at all that sumptuous food he then realised how famished he was. What magic trick he used even the caster had no idea but in no time he had made the contents of his plate disappear. Afterwards he chugged the nectar, a golden liquid which was very viscous but smooth and very palatable which field him with warmth and vitality.
The young girl had been watching him silently with wonderment.
"Apologies for my unmannered eating."
He smiled somewhat embarrassed.
"It is okay, I am actually glad you liked it."
The girl replied with a smile whilst tidying everything up. She lifted the empty plates and prepared to go out but before that she stopped.
"Erhm, Sir Karlmine should I call the princess for you?"
"No do not bother her I would like to be alone for a while and clear my mind."
"As you wish Sir."
She bowed to him and left.
