It was our first day as sophomores, we met each other at my house like we usually did.
I came out of my house and saw them leaning against my car which I got on my 16th birthday, it was the best birthday I had ever experienced in my life especially because of the car and because my best friends helped my mother to keep it a surprise.
Immediately I stepped on the lawn, I felt a burning sensation on my shoulder and it looked like my friends where feeling the exact same pain because they both clenched their jaws and held on tightly to their shoulder.
Suddenly just as sudden as it came the pain stopped and it felt like my entire world was frozen.
I felt frozen in place, frozen in time, and I wasn't able to move any part of my body. After a while, I regain composure and slowly checked my shoulder where the pain came from.
I noticed there was a crystal blue crest like that of an ice emblem shaped like snowflake. It shone brightly and oddly seemed quite familiar like I had seen it before but I couldn't remember where.
I quickly shook the thought out of my mind and rushed to my friends to see them breathing heavily just like I was.
I helped them gain composure and immediately they checked the spots on their shoulder where the pain came from.
It was just like mine except their crests were different.
For Iris, she had a blazing red crest of that of a fire emblem shaped like a flame, it appeared to be like it was set on fire burning her, but she didn't feel any pain.
Zayn checked his and it had a sea blue glow but the shape was irregular, though it looked like a splash of water, like that of a water emblem.
I looked closely at it and it actually looked like there was a waterfall running through it.
Although these crests shone of beauty and pure power, it was weird that it suddenly appeared on our shoulders because that definitely wasn't normal.
We thought about it for a while but came up with nothing, so we decided to get back from school before dwelling on the matter more.
I took one last look at it as we entered my car and thought 'What could this mean'.
