McGonagall held the Sorting Hat and instructed, "As I call your names, please step forward."
She began, "Avery, Orion!" Orion took his place on the stool, and the Hat declared, "Slytherin!" The Slytherin table erupted with applause, recognizing him as the heir of the Avery family.
McGonagall then called, "Bennett, Oliver." The Sorting Hat swiftly decided, "Slytherin."
As she moved on to the next name, McGonagall seemed unusually absorbed in her notes and eventually called, "Black, Cecilia Cassiopeia." The Hat decided, "Slytherin."
Then came the name, "Davis, Roger." The Hat's voice rang out, "Ravenclaw."
"Hufflepuff," it said as she called "Diggory, Cedric."
"Evergreen, Aurelia", was called as she sorted immediately into Slytherin
With "Fawley, Miles," it was once again "Gryffindor"
McGonagall called out loudly, "Valerius Alaire Grindelwald." A hush fell over the Great Hall as Valerius made his way forward. The footsteps of the young Grindelwald echoed in the vast hall.
When the Sorting Hat touched Valerius's head, it struggled to penetrate his formidable mind. After five long minutes, the Hat finally spoke, "Boy, you're undeniably a genius, but I need you to lower your Mind shields so I can sort you."
Whispers and murmurs filled the Great Hall as they discussed the delay in sorting. Many wondered about the connection to the first-generation Dark wizard, Gellert Grindelwald.
Finally, the Hat reached a decision and announced the house. "Slytherin!"
The Slytherin students erupted in cheers, welcoming their new member with enthusiasm. "Grindelwald! Grindelwald!" they chanted in celebration.

After the house sorting Ceremony,
Dumbeldore woke up and came to the stage, "Students I would like to introduce our newest staff this year Assistant Professor Quirinus Quirrell , who will be taking the post of Defense against Dark arts Professor next year as Professor Olivia Green is transferred to Ministry of Magic as Auror, before I leave I would like to share a few words they are Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!"
'Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggy Warty Hogwarts,
Teach us something please,
Whether we be old and bald
Or young with scabby knees,
Our heads could do with filling
With some interesting stuff,
For now they're bare and full of air,
Dead flies and bits of fluff,
So teach us things worth knowing,
Bring back what we've forgot,
Just do your best, we'll do the rest,
And learn until our brains all rot.'
Following the sumptuous meal, Marcus Flint, the Slytherin Prefect, led our group down into the dungeons of Hogwarts. The Slytherin students present included
Valerius Alaire Grindelwald,
Maximilian Nott,
Cecilia Cassiopeia Black,
Orion Avery,
Oliver Bennett, and
Aurelia Evergreen.
Flint informed everyone, "The password for entering the common room is 'Ambition.'"
As the doors to the dungeon swung open, Valerius noticed a mermaid statue on the right, while a descending staircase awaited on the left.
Intrigued, Valerius mused, "I had wondered if the accommodations in the dungeons would be gloomy and shrouded in darkness, but I'm pleasantly surprised. The place is enchanted with intricate runes and spells, creating a friendly environment where algae releases a substantial amount of oxygen. If my calculations are correct, the magical density here is approximately 50% greater than that in the Great Hall, and the oxygen content is 5% higher than outside," he noted to himself.
The dungeons boasted unbreakable glass windows that offered a view of the Giant Squid in the Black Lake. Remarkably, despite being constructed beneath the Black Lake, not a single drop of water leaked from the ceiling.
As Valerius was marveling the construction and magic of Dungeons,
Snape came in.
His aesthetic black clothes looked as if Batman himself has descended, He came directly to the first years, as the entire House's attention turn toward him.
Severus Snape addressed the students, his voice laced with authority. "My name for you is Professor Severus Snape....
and I ....
am the head of the house Slytherin.....
I will not tolerate any form of disrespect,
and I.....
expect excellence from each and every one of you.....
The year's timetables will be posted on the notice board by morning. Now, off to bed."
Snape exchanged a meaningful glance with Flint, who then took charge and guided the students to their rooms.
The dungeons contained a multitude of rooms, but Valerius opted for one that, while not entirely clean, was conveniently located.
Flint questioned, "Grindelwald, are you sure about this rather dirty room? It has been abandoned for quite a while."
Valerius responded, "Dirt isn't always a problem; we can always clean it up." He waved his wand and non-verbally cast "Scourgify."
The room underwent a remarkable transformation, the walls now immaculate, devoid of any unnecessary mess, giving it the appearance of a freshly constructed space.
Flint complimented, "Nice work, Grindelwald. By the way, why did you choose this room?"
Valerius considered his response carefully, thinking, "I can't exactly mention the heightened magical density," before replying, "It's close to the main fountain, and I rather like its proximity."
Flint responded, "Feel free to make yourself at home," before departing with the others to find their respective rooms. It was a well-understood rule that girls should not enter boys' rooms and vice versa.
Aurelia Evergreen introduced herself, saying, "Hello, Miss Black. I'm Aurelia Evergreen, and it's a pleasure to meet someone from the Black family."
Cecilia replied warmly, "Nice to meet you too, Aurelia. No need to be too formal; let's get along."
Aurelia continued, "Hey, have you heard of the Cursed Prince, the Heir of Grindelwald?"
Cecilia shared, "He was actually with me for the entire train journey."
Aurelia remarked, "Quite handsome, isn't he?"
Cecilia agreed, "Yes, and incredibly talented as well."
Aurelia questioned, "But how can you determine a person's talent on the very first day you meet them?"
Cecilia responded with a smile, "It's just a hunch, a gut feeling."
Aurelia and Cecilia got their room close to each other.
After the allocation of rooms,
The first years came to the common room, were the seniors were talking recent things at Hogwarts.
