In the flying class,
Madam Hooch said, "Children, I have some paperwork from the Ministry to sign for certain new stocks for Quidditch, so behave well. I must not find a single broom in the air."
The Slytherins nodded, while the Gryffindors shouted, "OK, Madam Hooch!"
Hooch smiled and walked away, thinking, 'Such nice students this year.'
Lee Jordan exclaimed, "Hey, Slytherins, let's see if you can even win this year's Quidditch cup! I heard Slytherin hasn't won for the past 4 years. Ha ha."
Fred chimed in, "Our brother Charlie is there."
George added, "He will never let Slytherin win!"
Fred and George together exclaimed, "Never!"
Nott, a loyal Slytherin, grew angry. "Hey, take back what you said!"
Angelina retorted, "You know we Lions don't retract our words like tiny snakes."
Valerius observed silently, recognizing how tensions were escalating between Slytherins and Gryffindors.
Angelina provocatively asked, "Why is the leader of the group silent, unable to accept the truth?"
Valerius calmly responded, "Well, only a foolish person can overlook Slytherins' impressive record of winning the House cup for the past 8 years and holding the record for the most house cups."
The Gryffindor students became tense at Valerius's remark.
Valerius then stood up on a stool, addressing both Slytherins and Gryffindors. "The houses, house points, and Quidditch are all significant, but aren't we forgetting something?"
Madam Hooch returned to retrieve her pen, which she had forgotten. However, she overheard something interesting and decided to eavesdrop.
People began to ponder what they might have overlooked.
Valerius emphasized, "Before our Sorting into houses, we are all part of Hogwarts. The concept of houses and house points is designed to foster learning in a competitive environment. After graduating from this castle, we won't be divided into houses; instead, we will group ourselves as Hogwarts students. Regardless of your background, whether you're a new blood, half-blood, or pure blood, it doesn't matter. We are all rare souls; magic only flourishes in rare souls. We are all wizards. Be friendly with everyone, and for the new bloods, don't worry. If you face any discrimination from Slytherins, I will handle it myself."
Valerius's call to refer to so-called 'Mud bloods' as New Blood gained more attention, and people began to have more faith in Grindelwald.
Peers from Slytherins were astonished; their thoughts raced like a 100-meter race.
Nott said, "Valerius, what the hell is wrong with you?"
Valerius asked, "Well, what's wrong with me?"
Orion questioned, "Why are you supporting them?"
Valerius replied, "It is only natural to support them because they are witches and wizards like us."
Cecilia declared, "I accept with Valerius." Cecilia stood with resolve in her eyes, keen to protect Valerius.
Suddenly, Adrian Prewett stood for Valerius. "Anyone in Gryffindor who dares to defy Valerius will face my wrath."
All the Gryffindors obeyed Adrian; he became so popular that everyone liked him, and no one wanted to get on his bad side.
Angelina said, "Hey, Adrian, they are the kids of people who are directly involved with You-Know-Who. It is best that you don't go and join them."
Oliver added, "Just because You-Know-Who is from Slytherin, how can you blame everything on the students of Slytherin? Don't forget that Merlin is also from Slytherin."
The argument grew to the point of using wands.
Angelina and Oliver raised their wands...
Hooch thought, 'This is getting interesting...'
Angelina exclaimed, "You! Enough! Expelliarmus!" Oliver was blasted with a red beam. It was weak but flashy.
Hooch muttered, 'Shit, my work is at risk!'
Valerius took this time and focused on Oliver, giving him a mental attack. As a result, Oliver fainted with a nosebleed. Although Valerius did it efficiently without people noticing, Cecilia found out. She was a natural, sensing clearly that the attack was directed at Oliver.
Hooch thought, 'Shit, my interest got ahead of me.' She ran to Oliver and said, "If anyone fights further, there will be expulsions." She took him to the infirmary, cursing about the students.
Valerius stared at Cecilia and kept his fingers on his mouth, signaling her to be silent.
Cecilia wondered, 'What Valerius is cooking?'
Nott said, "Did you see that, Val? How she behaved? That's why most of them hate Gryffindor students to the core."
Valerius placed his hands on Nott's shoulders and spoke to all the students. "The past, the present, and the future. Now, what Angelina did is the past. The fact I am stating is the present, and the problem that is going to arise is the future. Fellow wizards, do you want to change the future for good?"
Murmurs spread like wildfire. "What the hell is he talking about?" "Our house is at fault."
Adrian said, "Val, I apologize for Angelina."
Lee Jordan commented, "No, you shouldn't, Adrian."
Valerius said, "Adrian, there is no mistake in you, so don't apologize. Now we should misdirect Angelina's expulsion; it is very important." It was a small mistake, but discussing expulsion would cause everyone to panic quickly. After all, they were eleven years old.
Lee Jordan asked, "But how?"
Valerius looked at his watch; it was time to play.
Valerius said, "Let's meet the headmaster! Adrian, Cecilia, and Angelina, come with me."
Valerius, with three people, went to Dumbledore. Valerius knew all of Dumbledore's activities through the Marauder's Map. Valerius knew that Dumbledore would be going from the Astronomy Tower to his office.
Valerius shouted, "Professor! Professor!"
Albus turned back. "Oh, what a surprise to see you guys here."
Valerius said, "Professor, we need your help."
Albus said, "Strange, there are house heads, you know, Mr. Grindelwald."
Cecilia said, "Well, this is a serious issue, Professor."
Albus said, "Is that so? Let's come to my office, then."
The group went to Dumbledore's office.
Albus asked, "Want some lemon drops?"
Angelina cried due to the fear of expulsion.
Valerius explained what happened to Dumbledore.
Dumbledore thought, 'To think the boy fainted with a simple Expelliarmus. Is the boy too weak, or is the girl too strong? Interesting, in the future, I must consider inviting her to the Order.'
Valerius "Professor, both Slytherin and Gryffindor are at fault. Kindly don't consider this matter."
Dumbledore thought, 'Sheesh, I should nurture talents like Angelina.' He said, "Since you have come here, I will turn a blind eye once. Don't repeat yourselves."
After the problem was resolved,
the whole Gryffindor and Slytherin saw Valerius in a new light. Gryffindors saw Valerius as a savior, while Slytherins saw him as a genius who had control over barbaric Gryffindors.
Gryffindor felt indebted to Slytherins naturally.
Seniors didn't like the fact that Gryffindors and Slytherin students were getting along.
Things were going well.
In the common room;
Merula shouted, "Did anyone see a Grindelwald? That dumbass challenged me to come here. Where is he now?" Merula was shouting in the middle of the common room in front of everyone, making Valerius look bad.
Nott and Valerius made an entry.
Valerius said, "Hey, Merula, show me your hand."
Valerius caught Merula's hand, and an Unbreakable Vow formed.
Merula asked, "What is the meaning of this?"
Valerius said, "You, Merula, vow that you will not directly or indirectly cheat and make me, Valerius Alaire Grindelwald, lose in the upcoming Quidditch competition. You will help me get inside the team of Slytherin."
Merula smiled. "Do you think I won't cheat? I will cheat and make you lose, you brat."
Valerius said, "This is not a usual Unbreakable Vow; this is a demonic vow. If you don't accept it, it will make you accept. Wanna try that?"
Nott asked, "Where did you learn this technique, Val? I can see the green light surrounding the vow."
Valerius thought, 'Thanks, Mr. Flamel,' and said, "Now, will you accept the vow, or are you brave enough to go against this Demonic Vow technique?"
Merula thought, 'I have seen my father and mother vow several times. This is not the normal vow; the flow of magic is also reversed. Let's not risk my life; my life is more important.' She said, "I, Merula, accept it."
A skull-like structure appeared in the smoke and spoke:
"And spoke Merula Snyde, daughter of Ashcount Snyde, you are vowed to Valerius that you will help Valerius get inside the Slytherin Quidditch team and will not make him lose via cheating, either directly or indirectly. If you break any of the words, it will cost your life in a second. Be aware."
