"Good morning" Almora stretched her body as she came out of the tent. Emily stared at her, raising her brows. "What?? I mean we assume that when we want to sleep, it's night and if we wake up, it's morning, right?" Almora said, smiling sheepishly. "Come and eat, food is ready" Emily said, chuckling at Almora's childish behavior.
They both settled down to eat. When they were done eating, Almora called "Emily".
"Hmmmm".
"I remember you saying something about the powers of this forest manifesting on me. When am I going to know when it does?" asked Almora. "Well, it only shows when you are out of the forest" explained Emily, staring at Almora to see her expression. "Ohhhhhhh okay. So when do we start our training?".
"We'll start once your food has digested because transporting could make you feel dizzy and you might puke" explained Emily.
In the outside world, it was already Wednesday leaving only a day left for Almora's mum to be back. Amy and Stacy were in their rooms. "Are we so laid back that we couldn't even find Almora in 3 weeks?" asked Amy, annoyed. "You don't have to be so hard on yourself Amy. It's not our fault we haven't found her. All I just know is that we won't give up because even Almora wouldn't give up if it happened to one of us" said Stacy, consoling Amy. Stacy hugged Amy as she began to cry. She patted her back telling her "it will be alright soon".
Back in the dark forest, Almora was ready to train. "Why are you standing away from me?" asked Almora. "Because I want you to transport yourself to my front" said Emily, expressionless. "All you have to do is picture where you want to go to in your mind" she explained. "Okay, picture it in my mind" said Almora, huffing out.
She closed her eyes and tried to do it but when she opened her eyes she was till standing in the same position. "Try it again" Emily said and Almora closed her eyes again and this time around she appeared right in front of Emily. "Yayyy" she squealed. Emily just shaked her head at Almora's squealing.
"Now go back to your position without closing your eyes. Just imagine it in your mind" said Emily. Almora tried but it didn't work. She tried and kept trying. Then after the 10th time of trying, she finally did it. She squealed as she got it right. She turned to look at Emily but immediately she did, she was put to sleep and Emily quickly caught her before she fell to the ground. "It's time for you to go back" said Emily, still expressionless.
Emily dropped Almora in front of the dark forest making sure no one was there. "Bye Almora" she said and then disappeared. Almora was left in the injured state she was when Melanie kicked her. Ms Carmen and some teachers were headed to the dark forest. "Who's that in front of the dark forest?" Mr Powell said as he was also part of the search. They all quickly rushed there. "It's Almora" Ms Carmen said. "And she's badly injured let's rush her to the infirmary" Ms Ashley said and immediately she was rushed to the infirmary.
A student was sent to call Amy, Stacy, Lucian, Brian and Oliver to the infirmary. They quickly rushed there not knowing what they were called for. Ms Carmen stood beside the bed which Almora was laid on. "We've found her" Ms Carmen said moving away showing Almora who was on the bed. Hearing that, they all quickly rushed to her side. "She's out of danger and should be conscious by tomorrow" said Ms Carmen. She gave a signal to the nurse to leave them alone and she also left.
"I told you we will find her. Look she came to us herself" said Stacy, with tears falling from her eyes. "I guess she got tired of waiting for us to rescue and just decided to drag herself out back to the normal world" Amy chuckled as tears also fell from her eyes. Lucian's expression couldn't be read at all.
"Didn't anyone tell Evans?" asked Amy, when she didn't see him around. "Why should they tell him huh? Who is he to her to be informed of everything about her?" Lucian asked, annoyed and irritated. "Well Almora also considers him as a friend so wouldn't it be bad if he doesn't know?" explained Stacy. "Can we just forget about this?" said Amy, sighing. "I don't know about you guys but I'm spending the night here" said Amy. "So am I" Stacy said. Lucian, Brian and Oliver also said the same. "Okay then" said Amy, shrugging her shoulders.
"Almora, I want you to tell no one about me and don't tell them about the training I gave to you" Emily said. "But why?" asked Almora. "It's for your own safety. Don't you trust me?" she asked. "I do" said Almora, nodding her head. "Then don't tell anyone".
"I won't" Almora said. "Promise me you won't Almora".
"I promise" she said and Almora's eyes sprung open. It was a dream.
