"No one must know about this. You are a dark Red now" Lucian warned her. "I know which is why I kept it concealed but how were you able to see through it?" she asked.
"My powers also have darkness in them. I'm a dark blue". "Ohhhhhhh I forgot about that. So that means you have it too" she asked. "Yes but it's concealed" he replied. Almora sat up and held Lucian's face dragging it closer. She stared into his eyes keenly. "I have seen it" she said, cheerfully like a child who got a lollipop.
Evans got in and saw them together like that. He got jealous and started walking towards them. They hadn't noticed his presence yet. "Almora" he called when he was almost near them. This made Almora quickly put her hands back to her side and she cleared her throat. "You're back from class" she said, smiling weirdly.
Evans walked up to her and gave her a peck on the lips which made her feel uncomfortable. "Yeah I told you I'll be back after classes". Lucian got annoyed by that action from Evans. He stood up and held Evans by the collar. "Why did you kiss her without her permission?" he asked, angrily. "Can't I kiss my own girlfriend again?" Evans said, shrugging his shoulders. "Girlfriend??" Lucian said, confused. His hand had loosened on Evan's collar.
He turned to Lucian and asked "What is he talking about?". Almora looked down and said "He's saying the truth. We are in a relationship". "And you didn't bother to tell me? How many secrets do I need to find out about that you haven't told me?" he stormed off.
Almora was about to stand up and follow him when Evans said "You know you're supposed to be taking rest. He will come around later". "No he's not. I'll be right back" she said and ran after Lucian.
Almora got to the hallway but he was nowhere around. Someone came to her and asked "Where have you been Almora? You have been missing for so long now". Before Almora could answer, someone else came and asked "Is it true that you were trapped in the dark forest?". "How did you get out?" Another person said. They kept getting crowded over Almora asking her different questions. Almora pressed her hands tight on her ears as the questions were getting too much.
"Stop!!!" she screamed. "I'm back now. End of discussion. You all should leave here now". They all quickly scurried away as Almora's eyes were glowing red. She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath and then released. She opened her eyes back and it was back to normal. "Where would you go to H3?" she thought. Her eyes brightened up as she knew where Lucian could have gone to.
She went to the roof and found him there. "I knew you would be here" she said as she sat beside him. "I'm sorry. I know you feel bad when people who are close to you keep secrets because of what Melanie did still affects you"
"I was the one who behaved like a child. You like him, right?" he asked and Almora nodded. "Well I like him but just as a friend but I can't tell you anything yet" she said in her mind. "I'm sure you will both get along together again" she said. "I'll think about that".
"You turned me into a hospital escapee. Look, I still have my hospital gown on" she said, checking herself out. "You make a very good escapee" he said and they both laughed. "You know you can't tell him about your dark powers" he warned her. "Yh I know Mr H3" she said, doing a salute. "You don't know how you look like doing that" he said
"Where's Almora?" Stacy asked Evans as Almora wasn't there. She's with Lucian. She'll be back soon. Oliver and Brian didn't even greet Evans. They just settled down on one of the beds.
Almora and Lucian stood up to leave when Almora suddenly hugged him and said "Thanks for always being there". Lucian hugged her back, rubbing her hair. They broke from the hug and Lucian asked "Ready to leave?". Almora nodded and they headed back to the infirmary.
"Hi guys" Almora waved at her friends immediately she was in. "Where did you guys go to?" Oliver asked. "No where. We just had some things to settle" she said and laid down on the bed.
"You are discharged but can't go to classes till Monday" the nurse came in and said. "Okay" Almora said. She stood up and went to change to her normal clothes.
"I'm done guys. Let's go and get lunch I'm so hungry" she said when she was done. "At the cafeteria" Amy asked and she nodded. Evans walked towards her and said "Baby I have a special treat for you". "Really" she said and he nodded slightly. "I love where this is going" she said, excited. "Why did you call her baby? What's going on?" Brian asked.
"He's my boyfriend" Almora sighed.
