Adela's Point of View
As Olivia moved away from us, I finally turned my attention to the man in front of me.
I could feel his gaze even though I wasn't looking directly at him. When I did look at him, his eyes were fixed on me.
"Funny how we didn't even reach one month of being together," I began, raising my eyes to meet his.
I wanted to close my eyes because it felt like he was sucking all my strength with his gaze, but I kept my composure, letting my eyes engage in a silent examination with his.
"Please stay," he said, and I bit my lip, holding back any tears that might have wanted to escape my eyes.
"No need to tell me those, no matter how hard you try. I'm leaving as well; our parents will be back soon," I forced my tone to remain calm.
"And you can continue everything you stopped doing before."
