Standing alone in the temple, Danny looked at the many high-level demons who lay unconscious on the ground.
Did he really succeed at thwarting their plan?
And what of the fight that was happening outside?
He exited the temple to the scene of Momotaro decapitating Hadad's head as Ishtar watched.
She was trying to reach him, but she wasn't quick enough.
She received many injuries, and it was hard for her to run.
Momotaro pointed his sword at her and was ready to strike when Danny felt as if it wasn't right.
"Stop!"
The white-haired demon shouted, and both high-level demons turned their eyes to him.
"There is no point in more killing here today. Momotaro, you saved Athens, and both you and Marcuse will receive credit and admiration from the Greek Demon Clan. You also got rid of one of your competitors. There's no need to kill her."
Danny explained.
He felt weakness washing over him.
Whatever he did to that spell must have exhausted him more than he thought.
But that mattered not. He had to keep face and dissuade the fight.
For some reason, he still had a feeling that Ishtar might join his side.
"As you wish. Aside from her demonic blood, I have no ill will toward her anyway."
Momotaro wiped his sword of blood and sheathed it.
"What?! No! Just kill me. If not for my brother, I'd have no reason to live."
Ishtar begged for death.
It was just as Danny had seen it before.
She was raised to serve her brother and saw no point in living in a world where he was dead.
"Drop that wish, Ishtar. Even if we will kill you, it won't be today."
Danny said with a cold look in his eyes that made her shudder.
There was only a single time he was moved to looking for death.
It was the same day he met Chaos, and it hadn't happened for any particular reason.
He was just broken from the pressure he felt from his father and mother and the disrespect he received from those around him for being a half-human, low-level demon. He couldn't bear it anymore.
Luckily, after Chaos joined him, he found a reason to keep living, and like how Chaos vowed loyalty to him, he vowed to defend and assist all who followed him to reach as high as they could.
Looking at Ishtar now, he felt only a shred of mercy toward her.
He knew how it felt to want to die, but he also knew that killing her wouldn't make her life better.
If she chooses to join him in the future, he will guarantee that her life will be better than they were.
This was the promise he made her in his head.
"I hate you! I WILL get my revenge!"
Ishtar screamed at them and turned to go away.
"Don't devote your life to revenge. No one who does that gets a happy ending."
Momotaro called out to her.
In his past life, he tried getting revenge on the Oni demons who kidnapped his father and ended up devoting his life to his revenge and dying as he became a bedtime story among Oni demons and humans alike but achieved no happiness and has not exterminated them all.
Ishtar did not react as she kept walking away.
After the Baal demoness left, Danny and Momotaro turned their attention to Chaos and Mira.
Even after the talking Akita joined them, they were barely holding on against the many guards who were supposed to guard the one hundred high-level demons who were casting the spell.
The two demons were about to join the fight and support their allies, but there was no need to do that.
A much more powerful being just entered the fray.
He finished climbing the stairs, and as soon as the Baal and Leviathan Clans' demons noticed him, they were rendered unconscious.
He looked at the earth and then at Danny.
"I see you've managed to disrupt their spell quite well."
Yeshua said with a proud smile.
Having such a good nephew gave him a lot of pride, even if the kid was a bit of an edge lord and a demon.
"I will finish things here and take responsibility for the mess. Take your friends and leave."
Yeshua said, and the ground began rattling.
It seemed Danny didn't stop the spell fast enough, and the magic that was already absorbed into the earth, even if not enough to make a volcano, was enough for a small earthquake with pillars of fire sprouting from the ground.
This situation would have been problematic, but as soon as the rattling had begun, Yeshua lifted his hand and chanted.
"Baruch Ata Adony Melech Aolam Ose Maase Bereshit."
A powerful force was exuded from his body, and the spell created by the Baal Clan was stopped.
The results were a bit more drastic than the All Creator's son had planned.
The ground was stuck together so tightly that not only would it not shake, but once the rainy season would come in full swing, the water wouldn't be absorbed by the ground.
Yeshua knew this would be a problem but decided to leave it for another day.

After a long train ride, everyone returned to Hell, and the weekend had ended.
They returned to school, and a solemn vibe was in the air.
Hadad of the Baal Clan had died, and his sister, Ishtar, is yet to return to school.
She had many fans among the student body, and it showed.
Many students were looking so depressed, and Danny's stomach felt pain.
Danny thought he might be feeling guilty.
But then his stomach rambled, and he figured he was just hungry.
Danny told Chaos to go to the rooftop and wait for him.
The first day of the third school week had only begun, and Danny already knew what he wanted to do.
He wanted to gather his allies and read Yeshua's scroll.
His uncle asked him for a favor, and the reward of protection in Eden was too good to pass on the opportunity.
He brought Mira, Alaparos, and Alya with him to join Chaos on the roof.
"Why did you gather us here?"
Alaparos was confused.
"When we went to the human realm, we met Ye- the All creator's son."
Danny said.
He was about to mention his uncle's name, but he shuddered at the thought that doing so would let him into Hell.
Alaparos looked at Alya to see if she understood who this junior of theirs was talking about, but she seemed just as confused as he was.
"Which son of the All Creator?"
Alaparos asked.
"The half-human one."
Danny answered, and the two seniors nodded their heads in understanding.
"When meeting him, he gave me this scroll."
Danny pulled the scroll Yeshua gave him out of his bag.
"He said that on this scroll were the details for a mission he wanted me to do."
Danny said.
"Did you already look in the scroll?"
Alaparos asked him.
Danny shook his head.
"I want to see!"
Alya said cheerfully.
Danny smirked and opened the scroll.
