The voice was silent for a few minutes.
Danny and Donovan waited patiently.
"I don't know."
The voice returned with an answer.
"It's been after 'HIS' execution, but shortly before Lilith and Satan's marriage..."
He explained.
Danny was left even more confused.
Who's execution did Faerie speak of? And for a bastard, it seems Satan planned on having him for some time...
"Okay... Another question. Yeshua told me planting the fruit will grow will grow another tree, but you-"
Danny began asking his second question.
"Preposterous!"
The voice exclaimed angrily.
"This is my daughter with Vineria, the only queen of Faerie. She is now in her protected state for now, but with only a little magical energy, she will be awakened!"
He argued.
"And another thing. What does that damn god's son know about me or my realm?! He is so young and never even bothered deaping his tous here!"
The passionate anger in his voice was apparent.
He clearly minded that Yeshua had made assumptions about him and his daughter a lot.
"That's all nice and good, but how am I supposed to protect your daughter from a god?"
Danny asked his final question.
"....."
The tree went silent.
He was promised by Satan that if he went along with his plan, then his daughter would be protected by Daniel.
But the kid was right!
How is he supposed to fend against a god?!
"Do your best!"
After a few minutes, the tree exclaimed.
"?!"
Danny was speechless.
"I don't have a better option. Just remember that agreeing to this would give you a powerful ally with the potential to be as strong as a realm and the passive ability to exude magical energy."
The voice said in an attempt to persuade Danny, and the latter agreed.
He didn't want to, but what other option did he have?
He would get no benefit from saving only the fifty Fay.
"Well, fine. I'd wish you a pleasant day until we next meet, but it seems we won't ever meet again."
Danny said respectfully.
"Leanbh Faoi Bhláth!"
The tree called, and the fruit on the loan branch started glowing.
Danny and Donovan took a step back.
The fruit looked like it was going through an evolution.
From a fruit, it has evolved into... a thirteen-year-old-looking girl!
She had ears as pointy as an elf's, eyes as green as emeralds, hair with an orange-yellowy color like that of resin, and fair skin.
She wore green gawns made of leaves that were aligned as densely as the floor and hid anything there was to hide.
"Hmm..."
Danny was about to ask her for a name, but she looked at him with a piercing expression that made him flinch.
"Who are you? Why was I already awakened?"
She asked with a demanding tone.
She was promised a great king and an indescribably impressive demon.
What she got was a Fay child and a short demon.
"My name is Danny, and I've been asked by your father to defend you."
The white-haired demon asked.
He looked at her with his purple eyes, and she felt a great sense of oppression.
"You?"
She asked with surprise.
"Yes, me. Is there a problem?"
He answered with an obviously forced smile.
Something about her tone made his vanes pope, and he started pondering whether the All Creator was truthfully the greatest hindrance to her safety.
"I was promised an impressive and unimaginable legendary demon."
She said.
"You are short, with low magic capacity. And overall, not very attractive!"
She added.
Danny felt defeated.
The next thing she will say would be that he is bogus and all bark and no bite. And what achievements can he speak of to argue with that?
"Oh! And about that child. Who is he supposed to be? Weren't you supposed to be a great king? Why are you a weak little middle schooler?!"
She asked Donovan, and the latter became just as annoyed as Danny.
"You little..."
He started saying, but she ignored him and kept talking!
"But I guess you will do. You can see this as a gift from my father that you can be familiar with such a more impressive person as myself."
She said proudly.
"Morgana Faeriter!"
Donovan called with an evil smirk.
"Wha-?! How do you know my name? And how dare you address me as anything but Prestigious Madam?!"
She was flabbergasted by the disrespect of that lowly Fay.
She is the daughter of Faerie!
How dare he?!
"Apologise."
Donovan said.
His voice reverberated in her head.
"We are here to help you. So be a polite 'madam' and beg properly."
His voice was full of anger.
He sounded angrier than when he confronted Marvin.
"I-I a-apologize for m-my disrespect. P-p-p-p-please, help me."
She bowed against her will.
She tried resisting Donovan's True Name control but to no avail.
As a creature of Faerie, she was his to command.
"Good."
The silver-haired king sighed.
"Faerie, sir! One last question. How are we supposed to go ba-"
Danny called to the tree, but before he could finish, blinding light rained from the sky.
Everyone at the tree's top looked up and could see a straight line spreading through the sky.
The sky split open like a gate, and through it passed one angel.
Thump Thump.
A black-haired angel with blue eyes who looked all too familiar to Danny.
Thump Thump.
He wasn't the angel Danny hated most, but he was more or less his goon.
Thump Thump.
He had a muscular physique and looked at the tree with disdain.
Thump Thump.
Danny looked at him.
Thump Thump.
He felt his heart racing and his hair rising.
Thump Thump.
He couldn't do it.
Thump Thump.
There was no way he could fight him already.
Donovan noticed Danny's panicked state and couldn't help sweating.
What type of enemy could make that arrogant prick so scared?
Before they even had time to react, Faerie pulled the three youngsters at its top into the tree.
They were back at the palace.
Danny's face was pale and devoid of all emotions.
"What happened?!"
Chaos asked.
"I don't know. The sky opened, and a man with two wings appeared, and then Danny became like this."
Donovan answered with a panicking tone.
"A winged man?!"
Chaos was shocked.
He knew of what happened to Danny in Eden.
If this was an angel Danny had seen before, then, of course, this was his reaction.
"We need to get back! Mira, use the teleportation spell."
Chaos grabbed Danny.
Mira was surprised by her teammate's urgent tone.
How bad was the current situation?!
"Tēza Yātarā."
She chanted.
It was only the second time she had chanted this spell that day, and she could already feel that this spell took a lot of magical energy.
Danny's spamming of this spell must have been unhealthy. Why would he risk himself this much?
They appeared by the van and were surprised to find out the Oni demons had already located and brought all the fifty Fay with them.
Among the fifty Fays were twenty orphans who grew up with Donovan and five adult Fays who helped him throughout his life.
The other twenty-five were nobility and workers of the palace whom Princess Willow saw as good people she wanted with her.
If they already got all their objectives, they could run away!
They left as soon as possible.
For the next few days, the Fay were settled in temporary housing until the construction of their homes would be complete.
The demons had resumed school, and their teachers were surprised they returned so fast.
Well, the teachers were even more surprised to see Danny wasn't back yet.
