It was the second day of the third week of the school year.
After organizing all the information he needed for the Fay kids' admittance, Danny went out toward the school.
Luckily, this school was somewhat close to where Danny lived.
It was a middle school for low and mid-level demons who lived on the outskirts of Hell, around the same area as Danny.
Danny went there during the previous three years, so he knew the way by heart.
It was a single large building etched into the wall of stone that bordered Hell.
Danny went to the entrance, and the guard stopped him.
"Are you a student here?!"
The guard asked.
He was the same height as Danny, slightly chubby, and had a twirling blonde mustache on his bald head.
"No. I am the guardian of two kids I want to admit into this school."
Danny answered.
"At this point in the year?!"
The guard was surprised.
It was only the start of the year, and in other schools, still receiving applicants at this point was standard, but this school was such a small establishment far away from anything that it rarely happened.
"They only recently moved to be under my care."
Danny explained.
"Can you show me identification?"
The guard asked.
Danny pulled out his phone and showed the guard a file of identification that Danny received from his father.
Danny wasn't given an identification card, and neither were the Fay kids, but under orders from his father, he received a file that could be updated with the sigil of the king.
This sigil showed that he had some importance and showed that this file was official.
Recently, this file was updated to include guardianship over the Fay kids.
"I've heard of identification files but never actually seen one! Are you a government official?"
The guard looked at the file in awe.
Only important people had these!
"No, but I'm a family member of one, so I was given this instead of an identification card."
Danny answered.
These files were given to people because they provided easy access to places.
You only need to show the file, and the guards won't be allowed to question their officiality or identity.
The guard let Danny inside, and the latter started heading to the principal's office.
He walked through the grey hallways made of unpainted concrete.
He couldn't help the many times he joked in his head that this place would make a fine prison from floating back to the surface of his mind.
He walked until he reached a metal door and knocked on it.
"Come in!"
A voice was heard.
The principal was the only high-level demon in the school, so he had no fear of whoever it was that wanted to enter his office.
Danny opened the door and looked at the principal.
A demon with white hair indicating his old age, sitting behind a table with legs up, looking at a screen on the wall.
The magical projection was made so that it would always show where there was a problem so the principal could enjoy watching the students fight. And if things went south, he could stop the students right then and there.
He wore a ragged robe, more common among eastern demons, but his sheep horns and tail made it clear he was of the Baal Clan or some other Mediterranean demon clan.
He averted his eyes from the screen and looked at the low-level demon who opened his door.
Something about him looked familiar.
Something about his short height, white hair, and purple eyes...
Purple eyes?!
There was only one being he had ever seen with such eyes, let alone a white-haired demon...
"Didn't you already graduate, Daniel?"
The principal returned his eyes to the screen.
"Yes, I did."
Danny answered automatically.
He was so used to answering this old principal's questions after fights that he answered this question automatically.
"So why are you here?"
The principal asked.
"I have two kids under my care that I want to admit into this school."
Danny answered.
"You want to sign them to this school? Do you just don't want them to go far from your home?"
The principal was confused.
Why would anyone, let alone a graduate of this shitty school, want to sign up someone he knows to study in this school?!
"Yes, that's exactly the reason. They are both Fays from Faerie, and I don't want them to go far from the house."
Danny answered.
The principal was confused about how Danny acquired guardianship over kids from Faerie but didn't dare ask.
This student of his was always getting into trouble, and it seemed now was no different.
"Do you have their information?"
The principal put his legs down and got ready for work.
"Yes, I'll send it to you later. Also, there might be other kids that will come. I don't know yet."
Danny said.
"Fine. Having more kids in this school can only be beneficial for our funding. How will you make the payments?"
The principal asked.
All schools in Hell required money for student admission.
"Just write them under the same account that I was on."
Danny said.
"Okay. Send me the information as soon as possible, and the kids will be able to come from next week."
The principal said, and Danny left the office.
He said goodbye to the guard and left the school.
He quickly sent the required information to the principal on his way home.
He wanted to review the information he had on Faerie and its fruit before heading to steal it.
And he also needed the list of fifty Fay the kids were making.
********
Danny walked through the path to his house, many fields on each side.
In the distance, he saw Donovan practicing magic as Princess Willow watched him.
The magical energy in Hell was harder to harness than Faerie's, but the magic coating that Satan cast upon the two made their magic as good as high-ranking Fays'.
In Faerie, magic is dispersed from the tree to the king, and the king decides who gets more and who gets less of it.
Because of this, Donovan had never felt this strong before, and he practiced a lot to muster this amount of magical energy.
"Hey! I'm back!"
Danny waved his hand and called happily.
If his mother went out of her room and saw how lively their house was these days, maybe she would finally be willing to accept life without his father, but he was too busy to test this hope of his.
The Fay kids looked at him and waved their hands as well.
"Alberich, how's your training going?"
Danny asked Donovan.
"I think that well, but magic control is still hard for me. I can't figure it out."
Donovan said.
"Hmm..."
Danny put his hand on his chin and thought for a short minute about how he could explain magic control to Fay, but then remembered something special about Donovan.
Donovan could see true names.
"They say that when the All Creator forged the world, he named all of creation. Try thinking about the names of the magic you try to use and manipulate it through its name."
Danny suggested.
He didn't fully understand how true names worked but knew that they functioned similarly to the magical energy's movements.
Donovan pondered the suggestion and then returned to practice.
He wanted to test Danny's suggestion.
"Have you finished the list yet?"
Danny asked.
"Yes."
Willow pulled out the list from her pocket.
Seeing how she kept it on her person to give it to him as soon as possible, Danny was even more determined to save the fifty Fay.
He typed down everything written on the sheet of paper and sent it to Momotaro.
He then sent another message to his companions.
Tomorrow, they are going to Faerie.
