Chapter 25 - Monster

Out of all the attributes of the physical body, dexterity could be said to be the most special.

It doesn't have anything to do with becoming stronger or faster like the other attributes but at the same time, training it would make one possibly stronger and faster than they originally were.

What the dexterity attribute signifies was one's control of their body. The control one has over their legs, arms, hands, and even fingers.

'This Physical Assessment Device can scan up to A grade physical attributes which is already the standard for First Class Warriors! So if the device can't scan this kid's dexterity. Then it means that it has surpassed the First Class and has reached the threshold of Master Class… Just what kind of control does he have over his body…'

Thoughts swarmed in Agnes's mind over and over again.

It was strange because dexterity was not an attribute that everyone specially trained.

Most warriors only train their dexterity up to around B to ensure that they would be able to handle their weapons better, but they would focus on strength, endurance, speed and the like.

"Instructor, is there something wrong with my brother?"

A childish voice woke Agnes up from her stupor.

She looked at the girl who spoke and saw that it was the next trainee she would assess after the white haired boy.

For some reason, the girl was frowning, seemingly unsatisfied by her attitude towards the white haired boy.

Ehem, ehem~

Noticing that she was indeed staring at him for too long, she coughed slightly and asked the white haired boy, "You're name?"

"Jin." He answered.

"Jin, Overall Assessment = G+." Instructor Agnes stated before walking to the next trainee as if nothing happened.

"What? G+? I thought the lowest was F-!"

"I'm glad there's someone worse than me…"

"Ouch, why did you hit me!?"

"Don't you feel ashamed of yourself!?"

"Well, I wonder why he got G+? Maybe he didn't train?"

"Right, maybe he was just lazing around in their house all day…"

"But why did the Instructor remain silent and not call him weak…"

"Right? It's unfair…"

The murmurs from the surrounding children resounded in Jin's ears, making him sigh in exasperation.

"You idiots! What are you saying, huh!? Don't you dare belittle my brother! You can't even compare to a strand of his hair!" However, Tanya wasn't as calm as him.

Her lashing out made not only the surrounding children surprised, but also Instructor Agnes who was in front of her.

"Eek! It's Tanya!"

"What!? The Hardheaded Tanya!?"

"You mean the Beastly Tanya!?"

"That Brutal Tanya!?"

"Why is she suddenly angry at us!?"

The different titles Jin heard from the children in the surroundings made him speechless.

He looked at his sister and asked, "Sister, what's with all those titles?"

Realizing what was happening, Tanya stuttered, "U-Uh, n-nothing brother."

She then glared at the children, making them close their mouths in silence.

"Hoh?" Instructor Agnes grinned in interest as she looked at the young girl in front of her.

Her golden hair and golden eyes made her look elegant, but her personality was a bit too rough.

Not wasting any more time, she proceeded to read the girl's stats.

[Strength = E

Speed = E

Agility = E

Dexterity = E-

Endurance = E-

Stamina = D-

Overall Physical Assessment = E+]

'Not a single F…! She even had an attribute that reached D grade! This means that she's already comparable to an ordinary adult human!' Instructor Agnes's eyes widened in shock as she couldn't believe that what she was seeing was the physical attributes of a 10 year old child.

An ordinary adult human would have an Overall Physical Assessment of E- while those who received some training like soldiers would have a rating of E to E+.

Those with D grade attributes could be said to be the most outstanding and talented among humans.

To see the physical attributes of an adult in a child was shocking to say the least.

'A monster…' Instructor Agnes's thought in her mind while maintaining a calm facade.

She glanced at Jin and back to the girl the others called Tanya.

'They were siblings… right?' She remembered Jin calling Tanya sister while the latter called the former brother.

'An anomaly and a monster… this year will surely get interesting.' Agnes grinned before stating, "Tanya, Overall Physical Assessment = E+."

Her words caused the children to whisper among themselves again.

Almost an hour later…

The children's physical attributes had all been assessed by Agnes.

'Jin and Tanya. Those two are the only ones worth paying attention to. The others were too normal, even the castellan's kid.' Agnes thought as she looked at the trainees.

They were currently standing at the running track while waiting for further instructions.

"Now that we've assessed your physical attributes, I'm going to start making you weaklings stronger."

Her words made all the children excited, wondering what special training they would receive to become stronger.

Looking at their excited expressions, Instructor Agnes grinned and ordered, "Run."

"Huh?"

The children were confused.

"I said run!" Instructor Agnes shouted, mixing in some aura with her words.

Scared, the children began running. Some even teared up as they did so.

"I don't want to hear anything else besides 'Yes, Instructor!' from you, understood?"

"Yes, Instructor!"

"Good. Now keep running! Run with all your might! Don't stop unless I tell you so!"

"Answer!"

"Yes, Instructor!"

As expected, Tanya was the one at the front, running a few meters in front of the group followed by Anton and the other trainees.

Jin, on the other hand, was a few meters away behind the group.

One sibling at the front while the other at the back.

The sheer difference in their capabilities made Agnes wonder if they were really siblings.

A few hours later…

The children started running at around 11 in the morning.

It was now 3 in the afternoon and the instructor still wasn't telling them to stop.

Many trainees had already slumped to the ground in exhaustion.

The feeling of hunger, dehydration, exhaustion, and many more made the children suffer.

However, they were not even allowed to take a moment of rest since those who did so all received a spank from Instructor Agnes.

As time passed by, most of the children had already given up from exhaustion.

Seeing those who remained, a grin appeared on Instructor Agnes's face.

"Oh?"
