'Urk! I can't take this anymore! Even when my father trained me, he wouldn't let me train without letting me eat or drink water first!' Anton thought as he ran with all his might.
He couldn't believe that their instructor would just order them to run without any further instructions.
'Is there even any benefits to this?'
Anton looked around and saw that almost all of the other trainees had given up already.
He looked ahead and saw a golden haired girl running a few meters away from him.
'Tsk! I can't believe that I'm going to be defeated by that hard headed girl! Well, it can't be helped… her physical attributes were too monstrous. Besides, technique is my forte, not physical strength.'
These thoughts filled Anton's head as he was overwhelmed with exhaustion.
Plop!
Unable to continue any longer, he slumped on the ground as he panted heavily.
He looked ahead in difficulty, watching the golden haired girl run energetically as she did since the start.
'I'll just defeat her in our Weapon Proficiency class. Right, right…'
Even thinking was hard for him.
Tap… Tap… Tap…
Anton widened his eyes in surprise as he heard slow footsteps behind him.
'There's still someone who hasn't given up?'
He was shocked because even him, who had the strongest physical attributes after Tanya, had already given up from exhaustion.
Turning his head with difficulty, Anton looked behind him.
'What…' His eyes widened in shock at what he saw.
White hair and pale complexion coupled with a weak physique.
Even a single step made his whole body tremble.
Just raising his leg made him grunt in pain.
"Grrr…" Inhumane sound could be heard from the boy as he grunted heavily while gritting his teeth.
'What the…' Anton couldn't believe what was in front of his eyes. 'Jin was it… Yeah, I think that's his name.'
The one with the only G+ physical rating, the weakest of them all.
Someone who he didn't even put in his eyes was still standing while he had already given up.
Anton could see Jin's expression.
It was calm.
Like a lake devoid of any waves.
However, he could feel the intense rage emanating from his eyes.
'What the hell is that…' Anton's breath halted for a moment as he met Jin's eyes.
He felt fear and at the same time, felt like a pebble on the side of the road.
Anton couldn't help but stare at Jin as he walked.
Soon enough, Jin passed by him.
His steps were slow and his body was trembling.
Nevertheless, he passed by him.
"Hey, kid. Stop."
Anton could hear their instructor's voice as she told Jin to stop.
However, Jin didn't seem to hear her and instead kept taking steps.
"I said stop!"
Instructor Agnes's voice rang at the whole training grounds.
Jin still tried to keep walking, but his body didn't seem to be listening to him anymore as he uncontrollably slumped on the ground.
Instructor Agnes instantly appeared beside Jin with a canteen of water and hurriedly forced him to drink.
'Shit, what a psycho. Why the hell is he this stubborn? It's just their first day. He could've just given up if he was exhausted…' Agnes's brows were furrowed in worry.
Pushing past one's limits was good, but doing so in excess would break one's body.
Agnes was confused at why Jin seemed so determined about the exercise she made them do.
At first, she was intrigued by the fact that of the 200 trainees, only Tanya and Jin were left running.
It was expected for Tanya but Jin's perseverance astounded her more.
She wanted to see just how far he could go with his will alone, but he thoroughly shattered her expectations.
'Such will in a child is outstanding… but at the same time, worrying…' Agnes thought as she held Jin who had already lost consciousness, wondering just what could he have gone through to have such desperation.
Tanya, who was still running, looked behind her as she heard the commotion.
Her eyes widened as she saw her brother.
"Brother!" Her eyes radiated worry as she ran towards her brother with all her might.

'Oops, it seems like I got carried away…'
Jin thought, staring at the familiar ceiling of their room.
He looked at the window and saw that the sky was already dark.
Ever since he awakened his immortality at the Awakening Ceremony, the intensity of his morning exercises had been increased to a hellish degree.
Before he awakened his supernatural power, he would train and exercise till he couldn't go on any longer.
But after he awakened his immortality, he made sure to train past failure. Until the muscles, bones and every part of his body starts to give up by themselves.
To others, it would be harmful enough to cripple them.
However, Jin discovered that his immortality could let him heal and recover his body no matter the injuries.
Though, he still doesn't know the extent of his regenerative abilities as he had only used it to recover from the injuries he sustained during training.
'But one thing's for sure… the injuries healed by my immortality doesn't leave behind any kind of scars…' Jin thought as he looked at his hands.
Grrr~
He could hear his stomach growling because of hunger.
Not wasting any time, Jin got down from the bed and left the room.
"Oh son, you're finally awake!"
As Jin walked down the stairs, he heard his father's gentle voice.
Leo hurriedly got up to heat up some food for his son. "Tanya fell asleep while waiting for you to wake up, so I carried her to the other room first."
Jin sat down at the table and just listened carefully to his father.
"Son, I know that you're hardworking and I'm very proud of that. However, as your father, I can't help but worry when you exercise as if you're punishing yourself…"
"I was worried when I was told you collapsed, you know? If your mother was here then she would've scolded you out of worry…"
'Isn't that what you're doing now?' Jin felt that his father was a little silly. Still, his heart warmed up at his father's words.
"Son, if you want, you can skip going to the Training Center tomorrow to recover first…" Leo said with a worried tone of voice as he placed a bowl of milky mushroom soup together with slices of bread on the table.
