Chapter 28 - Aura Circulation Class

Instructor Clyde continued, "Now, close your eyes as you follow my instructions."

Seeing the children obediently close their eyes, he also closed his and instructed, "Now, I want you to remain calm. Ease all your muscles and erase all the thoughts in your mind. I'll give you a few minutes to do so."

The children all did as they were told, but it wasn't as easy as they thought it to be.

Jin, on the other hand, was able to do it instantly.

Sensing the different atmosphere around her brother, Tanya sneakily opened her eyes and whispered, "Brother, how did you do–"

"Quiet."

Tanya was startled at Instructor Clyde's voice.

She looked and saw that his eyes were still closed.

'Are his ears really that sharp!?' Tanya pouted as she closed her eyes and meditated.

Though, shortly after she closed her eyes, Instructor Clyde opened his and looked at Jin.

'He's Jin, right? The strange one… Still, how outstandi– kurgh!' He was about to praise the white haired boy in his thoughts when he suddenly faltered and hurriedly closed his eyes.

'Did he really sense my stare!? Impossible, it must be him losing focus and getting out of his meditative state…'

Instructor Clyde was shocked to see Jin slowly opening his eyes and looking at his direction.

Fortunately, he was able to close his eyes fast enough.

Acting as if nothing happened, he spoke, "Now, for those who have already achieved a meditative state, take a slow deep breath. Make sure to fill your lungs with air and hold it as long as possible before releasing it, then repeat the cycle. For those who haven't achieved it yet, don't worry and take your time."

"Remember that remaining calm is a must. Don't be agitated. Being slower than others doesn't mean anything. This is not a race, just take your time."

Instructor Clyde calmly reminded the children as he looked at Anton's direction, sensing the boy's frustration.

After a few more minutes, he said, "Now, those who have talent in aura must've sensed the energy leaving out of their body. Try to feel it and absorb it back to your body through breathing. The life energy leaking out of your body will mix with the mana in the surroundings as you breathe in, forming the so-called aura."

"As for those without talent in aura, try to take in more air with every cycle of breathing. If you take in enough air, some mana in the surrounding will go along with the oxygen you take. Although it won't remain in your energy core and circuits due to lack of talent in mana and aura, it would help in strengthening your body."

"As for those with talent in aura but still can't sense the life energy leaving out of their body, don't be pressured and just take your time. Being tense will only slow down your progress further."

Instructor Clyde stated with a calm and soothing voice, making sure that the children wouldn't falter because of their slow progress.

'Strange…' Jin thought as he felt the movement of the worldly energy inside his body.

He could feel both aura and mana entering his body willingly as if they were moths attracted to fire.

However, they would also leave quickly, as if they couldn't find somewhere to stay. He could also feel that the worldly energies couldn't strengthen his body.

'Is it because I don't have an energy core and energy circuits?' Jin thought as he gritted his teeth.

This again.

It's always because he didn't have an energy core and energy circuits.

Everything he did was restricted by his lack of ability to manipulate and contain worldly energies.

Instructor Clyde opened his eyes suddenly and looked in Jin's direction. He could sense palpitating anger boiling in him.

This feeling of anger was so intense, it could be compared to the rage of vengeful ghosts he had hunted on a mission years ago.

'What is this?' Instructor Clyde stared at Jin in alarm before saying, "Calm down…"

The children didn't sense anything wrong, they only thought that their instructor was reminding them.

'Oh shoot!' Jin thought as he quickly controlled his emotions.

Instructor Clyde heaved a sigh of relief as he sensed the anger dissipating away. 'How strange… a boy achieving Mind Force at such a young age!?'

'It is still incomplete, but…' He decided that he would talk to the other instructors about this.

The children just meditated from the start of their class which was around 7 in the morning until the end of their class which was 3 in the afternoon.

Again, they didn't eat lunch, but they strangely felt that they were energized. Even the exhaustion from their hellish running yesterday vanished.

"I like Instructor Clyde more than Instructor Agnes…"

"Me too! Me too!"

"Right? He's so gentle with us unlike her who treats us as if we're dogs…"

"Besides, I also like his subject more than hers."

"Me too!"

The children talked among themselves while leaving the Training Center.

"Hey Tanya! Do you wanna come play with us?" A brown haired girl with freckles shouted.

"Rowena!" Tanya's golden eyes lit up in joy as she saw her best friend.

She ran towards her and excitedly asked, "What are we going to playyy!?"

Rowena replied, "We're planning to play hide and seek!"

The group of boys and girls surrounding them also nodded excitedly.

Tanya was about to nod but said, "Wait, let me ask my brother first if he wants to join."

"Woah, your brother was always inside your house, right? I wonder what he's like."

"Rightttt, I'm so curious about your brother!"

"His name is Jin, right?"

Seeing her girl friends excited made Tanya uncomfortable. She felt like they were going to steal her brother.

Still, she remembered that her brother still hasn't experienced what it's like to play outside so she ignored those thoughts and went to Jin.

"Brotherrr! Brotherrrr!!"

Jin, who was currently thinking of the Book of the Sun, raised his head as he heard his sister calling for him.

"Yes, sister?"

"Let's playyy!" Tanya said excitedly.

"Oh you're going to play? Okay, make sure to come back before dark." Jin absentmindedly replied as all he had in his mind was the Book of the Sun.

Tanya pouted and play-punched her brother in the chest. "No! I mean you, brother, come play with us!

"Huh?" Jin's mind went blank.
