Jin thanked his father before taking two slices of bread and eating them after dipping them in the soup.
He refrained from talking as their parents always told them not to talk with their mouth full.
So, he was only able to reply after swallowing his food.
He shook his head and said, "Dad, I'm fine. I want to attend tomorrow…"
Leo chuckled and said, "You're sister seemed like she would skip attending the Training Center whenever she got the chance but you on the other hand…"
Thinking of his silly little sister, Jin also chuckled softly.
"But son, please don't be too hard on yourself, okay?" Leo said with a serious tone, his eyes radiating worry for his son.
Jin nodded obediently, making his father smile.
'Well, since I have immortality, doesn't it mean that I'm immortal? Don't immortals live forever? Maybe I can just train my physical body and be the strongest without the need for an energy core and energy circuits…' Jin thought that it made sense.
There were a few fairy tales where the main character became immortal by achieving the Diamond Stage and lived happily ever after with the love of their lives.
Besides, there's no reason to always be in a rush, he decided that he would just live peacefully with his family instead.
The son and father spent the night talking before going to sleep.

The next day…
"Tanya, wake up~"
Leo shook his daughter gently.
"Five mowe minutes, dad…" Tanya said with a sleepy voice before turning to the side.
Leo had a helpless expression on his face as he continued shaking her, "Daughter, you've said that 5 times already. You're going to be late…"
Receiving no response, he looked at his son, as if asking for help.
Jin, who had already eaten and dressed up, shook his head and said to the sleeping Tanya, "Sister, I'll go without you if you still don't wake up."
"Just fwive minutes bwothe… Brother!?"
The sleepiness vanished from Tanya's eyes as she looked up to see her brother staring at her.
Hic~
"Wahhh! Brother, you're alive!!" Tanya hugged her brother while sniffling.
Jin smiled as he caressed his little sister's head. "Don't cry, silly. Of course I'm alive. Now, get up and eat so you can wash up."
"Mhm!" Tanya energetically nodded her head.
As she went down with their father to eat, Jin looked down at his shirt and saw that it had snot in it.
Shaking his head with a smile, he went and changed his shirt.

Less than an hour later…
"Are you sure you're going to be fine?" Leo said with an expression of worry.
Since the day of the Demon Beast Wave was coming, he would be busy attending meetings at the Adventurer's Guild.
As such, Jin said that he didn't need to accompany them today.
"Yes, dad. Don't worry about us, it's not like we'll get lost." Jin smiled as he reassured their father.
Of course, as their father, Leo still couldn't help but worry. He looked at his daughter and said, "Always hold your brother's hand, at least until you arrive at the Training Center, okay?"
Tanya obediently nodded as she held her brother's hand.
Leo smiled as he looked at the back of his children who had just departed while holding hands.

After a ten minute walk, the siblings arrived at the Training Center.
"Good morning trainees! I'll be your Instructor for your subject today which is Aura Circulation."
The children carefully listened at the brawly, red haired man.
They remembered that he had introduced himself as Instructor Clyde yesterday.
Fortunately, he seemed gentle enough when dealing with them, very unlike the fiery woman from yesterday.
Instructor Clyde kept speaking, "Now, I know that many children here were unlucky and weren't able to awaken any talent for worldly energies. So you may be thinking how this class will be beneficial for you, right?"
Most of the children nodded. After all, having an energy core and energy circuits didn't guarantee that one would have talent for Aura, Mana and Holy Energy.
Seeing them nodding, Instructor Clyde smiled, "Does anyone here what the first step is in order to gather aura?"
A black haired girl raised her hand.
Instructor Clyde gestured for her to speak.
The girl stood up and answered, "We need to take a deep breath."
"Exactly!" Instructor Clyde smiled, "I have another question. Did humans have an energy core from the start?"
The children looked at each other, confused.
Jin's eyes emitted intrigue while Tanya was squatting down and drawing things on the dirt with a stick she got from nowhere.
Instructor Clyde continued, "The humans of the past were born with neither energy core nor energy circuits."
Woahhh~
His words sparked curiosity from the trainees.
"The humans of the past didn't have the ability to use any worldly energies at all. But they were still able to hunt magic beasts, albeit not as easily as now."
Seeing the growing curiosity on the children's faces, Instructor Clyde chuckled softly before continuing.
"Now you may think that since they didn't use worldly energies, woulbn't that mean that they were weak?"
Instructor Clyde shook his head and wagged his finger, "Although they weren't able to become overly strong, they weren't weak either. The humans of the past discovered a way to create breathing techniques."
'Interesting…' Jin thought in his heart.
He remembered that he seemed to have seen something like this in one of the Solar Sacraments recorded in the Book of the Sun.
'I'll need to check it later…' He thought as he listened to the instructor.
Instructor Clyde continued speaking, "Now, what are breathing techniques? They are techniques of gathering huge amounts of oxygen in the body in order to increase their physical attributes. It could be an explosive but temporary increase, or a slow and permanent one."
"Let's get back to the Aura Circulation Subject. Each Aura Circulation Methods are divided into two techniques; Breathing and Aura Circulation."
Instructor Clyde posed a question, "We know that gathering aura starts with taking a deep breath, right? But how does the two relate to each other?"
Seeing that the children kept silent and just curiously stared at him, he continued, "Every living being has what we call life energy. This life energy is continuously leaking out of our body, and as it continue to do so, we grow older."
He then sat in a lotus position and ordered, "Sit down and listen to me carefully."
The children all sat like their instructor.
They saw his eyes becoming calm and serene, which felt soothing to their eyes.
Instructor Clyde spoke calmly, "Everyone, follow my instructions whether you have talent in aura or not."
The children obediently nodded, excited at the new knowledge they were about to acquire.
