"Like I said, they're here as members of ANM." Christian said as he put his arm in front of Kyle to hold him back just in case he tried to attack Ryoa.
"That's great. However my blood is filled with an incurable disease so it will be no good for you." Ryoa's tone quickly changed as if he was amused. "If the HPA arrives, I'll leave them to you. So let's continue." Ryoa said as he sat back down in his chair after telling his bodyguards to lower their weapons.
"Yeah, we need the usual order because of the shoot out a couple weeks ago, some of our gear was destroyed." Michael said as he sat down as well. Although the rest of the executive team were still shocked by Ryoa's instant switch in his mood.
"I know, I heard a lot about it over the last few weeks. I have a job for you and I'll give you the resources." Ryoa said as he looked at Christian and Kyle through the corner of his eyes.
"We'll be glad to complete the job but if this is a form of payment, depending on how much we have to do. It may cost more." David said as he sat back down as he was waiting to talk business with him.
"I suppose that's fine, I believe your organization is competent and efficient despite how small it is." Ryoa said as he pulled pictures out of his breast pocket.
"We're growing bigger by the day." David said in a sour tone. "What is the job?" He asked.
"I need you to collect some debt from this small gang that failed to pay me back in time." Ryoa said as he showed David a picture of a man.
"Who is he?" David asked as he studied all of the features of the man in the picture.
"The leader of the gang that owes me a lot of money." Ryoa said as he put the picture back in his pocket.
"What's his name and how much do you want us to take?" Dave asked as he kept a mental note of what the man in the picture looked like.
"Benn Ashen, he's on a power trip now. I want you to take everything and leave none of their members alive." Ryoa explained as he pulled out a gold emblem from his right jetted pocket.
"That sounds simple but you actually want us to take over their territory. I don't know if you're aware of this but we're gonna need more than those resources as payment." David said.
"Right but I'm going to be there as well. I need to talk to Benn before I let you kill him. This is what they gave me as payment, this piece of junk." Ryoa said as he tossed the emblem on the table.
"Okay, where are they at?" David asked as he looked at the emblem.
"We're gonna meet up before we collect the debt. I'll send you the location in a couple hours if you're willing to take up the job if not everything is the same price." Ryoa said.
"We'll do the job for you." David said as he held the emblem to get a closer look at it.
As they continued to do business, Kyle was still thinking about what Queen Aria said. As he had never thought of the lives he's taken.
"Carry the lives?" Christian questioned in his head. "What am I carrying them for?" Christian continued to question as he couldn't understand what that role was for.
"I took enough blood out of someone to kill them but I need it to become a vampire so there isn't anything wrong with it. Killing people is bad but what I did, it isn't bad." Christian thought as he drifted away from what was actually happening. "I don't wanna kill a lot of people, I just need blood." Kyle thought.
In a state not too far, Mother was home alone. She had no idea of what Kyle and Christian were getting up to. However she did seem to be lost in thought as well, she sat in the living room by herself. Her eyes glowing gorgeous clear red as the curtains blocked off the sun.
Her nails were sharp and long. Sitting here in a completely dazed look as if she was lost in thought. Her figure is much easier to see here, a beautiful stature with brown hair reaching down to her back. Luscious clear brown skin along that appeared to be glowing. Mother sat in silence as there was no one home and the TV was turned off.
"You finally found me after so long, Mother. Will you guide him for me please?" Mother thought as she clasped her hands together, like she was praying. "Will you accept it, even in your position? I know you can do it. I cannot leave this life behind but I can sacrifice something in return. Just please guide my child to the kingdom." Mother said before a large knock was at the door. "Finally." She said as she stood up and walked towards the door.
She was in an all white dress that made her appear as royalty as she answered the door. Three women were standing outside, one of them wore a sundress similar to Mother's while the second one wore business clothes. Lastly, the third one wore casual clothes.
"Good evening Madam." They said simultaneously as they put their hand on their chest before bowing.
"Good evening." Mother said before heading back to her chair to sit down.
The three women quickly followed her and sat on the couch. Silence erupted which seemed to be tailing awkwardness.
"Excuse my interruption my lady but why is it that you have called us?" The woman in the sundress asked as she took her hat off.
"It's probably about the 'vampire' that's been showing up. There shouldn't be any vampire's here besides us." The woman in the business clothes said used her hands as quotation marks.
"I agree but who knows, one of you probably left someone alive after drinking from them." The woman in the sundress said.
"Impossible I make sure to get every last drop of blood-" The woman in the business clothes said before Mother spoke up.
"How long has it been since we arrived here, Ellen?" Mother asked in a spacious tone.
"I believe it's been nearly a century, we are just waiting for the queen to find us now." Ellen, the woman in the sundress said.
"Right, it's been so long. Everything could only change down there…. Time has never once stood still for us." Mother said in a reminiscent way. "Kyle has grown up but he is still so immature." She finished.
"Humans grow slower than us, being around so many human kids. It only makes sense My Lady." Ellen said.
"It isn't the kids, it's him and he can't help it because of me. But enough of that, I'm grateful for his growth." Mother said satisfyingly. "I also have important news…. Kyle inherited my blood." Mother said in a happy tone.
"My lady, that is amazing." Ellen said as she looked like she wanted to jump out of her skin due to the news.
"This is wonderful news my lady but has he received the message?" The business woman said as she remained calm.
"When did you find out, Madam?" The woman in casual clothes said happily.
"He hasn't received it yet but I'm sure he will in due time and I found out a couple weeks ago. Don't be upset with me for taking my time in telling you, I was sorting a few things out." Mother said in a softened tone as she looked away from.
"It's alright my lord, please don't apologize. He must need a supply of blood, we can help him with that, we must also attend to the matter about those 'vampires'. If they are vampires, we need to get in contact with them." The business woman said.
"He's not aware of the fact that I know. Him and his brother have been hiding it from me. So we'll let them be for now and regarding that vampire, Kyle is that vampire from the news. The nurse and the man who went missing are also his servants." Mother explained as she continued to look away.
"Do they know about you being a vampire as well as us?" The business woman asked.
"Not yet Somer, they will find out soon enough." Mother said.
"You don't seem as happy. Is there more you forgot to tell us or are you thinking of preparations for our return?" The woman in casual clothes asked as she tried looking at Mother's face.
"I'm happy, Phlora. After such a long time, how can I not be." Mother said although she lacked the energy.
"My lady, we are your everlasting servants. To serve and heed your thoughts is our duty, whatever is on your mind I'm sure you can share with us." Phlora said in a genuine tone.
Mother has always been able to rely on these women, they're her only servants and she has only grown closer to them over the years. Their bond as master and servant is more like family so she didn't waste any time with telling them. However, that was the reason she felt reluctant.
"Nearly a century has passed, I've grown with the humans since then and fell in love. I made a new life for myself without even realizing it and we're finally ready to prepare to go home. During this time I gave birth to two kids and only one of them inherited my blood. I've made peace with my new situation and to my loyal servants who stuck with me since the beginning. I apologize." Mother said as she kept looking away. "My life will end here with the humans and in time I will pass on my role to Kyle, my last child." Mother said and left her servants speechless.
