In the white and golden pavilion of Marquess Velmour there lies the meeting between two families under the guise of having lunch.
"I don't want to question your decision, Your Majesty. But is this what you really want for the heir to the throne?"
The Marchioness asked with a troubled face on her face as she looked around the dining table and saw her own son and daughter.
"This is a favor that I can only ask of you, Marchioness Arina"
The Queen said while sipping a glass of wine and looking at Marchioness directly in the eyes.
The Marchioness could only look on at her husband while he nodded his head with a cold expression.
The Marchioness closed her eyes to think more deeply before giving in to the Queen's favor.
"I-I'll heed you orders, Your Majesty…"
The Marchioness said and bowed down while her children stared at them with confused expression.
Soon their meeting ended, and the Queen bid the Velmour family a farewell.
"I wish for your safe travels, Your Majesty"
The girl Lalaine bowed her head and said while her younger brother followed and bowed as well.
The Queen nodded her head to the children before riding her carriage and left the place.
After seeing off the Queen the Marchioness turned to her husband and glared.
"Let's talk"
At her words, the servants around them immediately took the children away and lead them back to their rooms.
The Marquess sighed heavily and both went back to their bedroom.
When they were alone the Marquess pinched his temples in annoyance and sat down on the couch.
"Let's hear it"
He said in a low tone and finally the Marchioness stopped holding back her true feelings and clenched her fist.
"You want me to adopt her!? A commoner!!?"
She started.
"Honey, you should have known what we have going on between the children!! Lalaine who hated her brother and sees him as a competition would never approve of an adopted sister!!"
She burst out in anger and her nails dug in her palm causing a blood to drip down the carpet.
The Marquess noticed the blood but didn't care about it and simply closed his eyes as if her voice irritates him.
"Why her of all people!?"
"...."
"To have her as the future queen on behalf of Amelia!? If that's how it's going to be then my sister's daughter should have been chosen instead!"
"....."
After saying all that thoughts that came to mind the Marchioness felt annoyed at the silence that continued.
"Are you even listening!?"
She shouted while glaring at the Marquess.
"A girl from an unknown background is going to become my daughter! MY daughter!! Ugh"
She said and rolled her eyes in disgust.
"Are you done?"
The Marquess asked with no emotion before standing up.
The Marchioness felt angrier at her husband's indifference and strengthened her clenched fist for it to bleed more.
"I guess we're done"
He said and looked down at her with a cold gaze before passing by her.
When the Marquess left, the Marchioness immediately called angrily for the servants from outside.
And in a hurry, the servants came inside the room and was surprised at her bloodied hands.

At the same time another family is having their teatime after their lunch break.
"So, what do you want to say father?"
Amelia smiled and smelled the fragrance of her tea before sipping it.
"Uh, Amelia darling…"
Remier mumbled and stared at his wife with nervous eyes.
"Just say it"
Avelyn mumbled and gloated her eyes at him so he stopped shaking and continued.
"Please don't be surprised on what I have to say"
"I won't be surprised"
Amelia simply nodded back and grinned.
"You see, my dear. The palace has called for me and your mother…. And Uh… There is a chance that what we're going there is to…"
The Earl hesitated and his eyes looked a bit teary and clenched his fist.
"Y-Your engagement might be revoked, Amelia"
He said and looked at her with an apologetic face.
When Amelia looked at him. The Earl then looked down feeling sorrier for her.
Amelia widened her eyes while looking at Remier.
Then her eyes and hands were slowly shaking as she tried to compose herself in the process.
"I-Is that a problem?"
Amelia stuttered while trying her best to control her expression.
"W-Well… Having your engagement revoked by the royal family can make it seem like you're lacking. Not that you are because you're more than perfect and qualified to be that basta------"
The Earl tried to explain so, but the countess elbowed him.
He paused and looked back at Avelyn while Avelyn ignored him and only stared at Amelia.
"What your father is saying is that it will be harder for you to socialize now that you'll be labeled as a woman whose engagement was revoked, Ammy"
Avelyn continued while the Earl nodded his head in the background.
"It may be harder for you to find a spouse because of that title and we don't want that to happen. If only Remier didn't sign that paper"
"Me?"
"Ammy, you are the loveliest daughter, the kindest and the cutest! Of course, Remmy too. I also think that both of you are my lovely angels. That's the reason why I can't stand it when people who knows nothing will put you down or hurt you. All I want is the best for you and Remil and I want you both to always be protected. You know if you want to say that you don't want to get married after this incident then we'll do so. I'm always on your side, Ammy"
Avelyn said with a motherly love showing in her eyes. She waited for Amelia who keeps trembling to finally respond.
Though even after a long speech from her, what came back was a hearty laugh from Amelia who's just trying not to lose it.
"Pffft---"
"Amelia?"
Avelyn called her name in confusion.
"Pfft… I can't---"
The Earl and Countess then frowned at the sight of their giggling daughter.
"What are you laughing for?"
Avelyn said with a smile on her face, but with a threatening voice in her tone.
"Pfft----I'm sorry mother… It's just that…. Father…"
"What's with me…?"
The Earl asked with a nervous face.
"Father's Puhahahhaa!! Head!! He has a bald spot on his head! Ahahhaahha!!"
Amelia laughed and the Earl looked at her in shock.
"There's no way"
He mumbled with shaky eyes and grabbed his head.
"Did you see it right?"
He asked in denial while Avelyn shot a glare on his head and went closer.
"Let me see?"
She said with a piercing gaze towards her husband.
"N-NO… No way, You can't!! You can't Avelyn!!"
He pleaded while the Countess came closer with a grin on her face.
On the background, Amelia was smiling at her lovely parents.
Her hands were shaking from trying not to laugh while a lot of tea had already spilled on her dress.
But before Avelyn could come close to Remier. The door suddenly opened, and everyone's gaze turned to it.
"Father…."
A small voice called out.
Everyone's eyes in the room were wide open in shock at the sight of Remil with a book in her hand.
The girl who never participated in their three-person activities as a family, finally came here on her own.
"B-Baby…"
The Earl mumbled while the Countess teared up and immediately pulled out a handkerchief to wipe her tears.
"D-Did you call me, Remil?"
The Earl stuttered and everyone in the room moved in a hurry to make space for Remil to sit down on.
Remil saw Amelia with them and froze in her place.
"What is it darling? Do you need money? Do you want new books?"
The Earl excitedly started not knowing where Remil is looking because of her mask.
But ignoring the Earl Remil slowly backed away and bowed her head before turning around and leaving the place.
"Rem/Remmy/Baby!?"
The three simultaneously called out but Remil was already gone.
They were all shocked at how fast Remil left after only staying with them for a second.
But despite their confusion, they were still happy that a progress for Remil's heart to open to them was slowly showing.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Remil went back to her room in a hurry while carrying the Book of Life in her arms.
The thing that she read in her book had worried her because it involves her twin's well-being.
But to think that her confused mind would lead her to the conclusion of revealing her identity to the Earl is just stupid.
She almost showed the Book of Life to him although he could not understand it.
"Haah, it will be harder"
[To explain that is]
She grumbled in her head and made the book disappear.
[There's no need to worry because the Head Priest is helping. Though I can't trust them because of what they did to the 16th Saintess]
Remil stared at the notes she's written down about the future.
[Thierry Rimel Heldravil. The one he falls in love with will have to suffer from his obsession and madness. If he fell in love with Amelia, Amelia won't surely reciprocate his feelings]
[Locking her up, marrying me as a mistress, and killing my parents were just the few things he did to make Amelia love him]
[To change the future a replacement will be needed to save Amelia. The one who has the same golden hair and eyes and a kind personality like her]
Remil looked down at the name Flourel Velmour. The adopted daughter of Velmour family.
Remil felt bad for her for a moment but in her heart, she wished for Flourel to fall in love with the madman and reciprocate his love in place of Amelia.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Head Priest, I-I did what you said"
The head priest looked up and nodded his head at the priest that came inside to report.
"Make sure the rumors will be heard everywhere you go. The prophecy that the Prince has to marry the Real Saintess for the peace of the Kingdom"
"B-But are we sure that Flourel is the real---"
The Head Priest looked at him with a smile, so the Priest bowed his head and apologized.
"T-The words of the Head Priest are absolute, so I won't question no more"
The head priest tapped the table while looking at the priest. He reminisced the past where he met Amelia while she was a baby.
He remembered the words of the late Head Priest who told him how their ancestors would feel whenever they meet the Saintess.
It was peace, happiness, and joy.
Those were what they all felt when they met the Saintess just like what he also felt when he met Amelia Azrael compared to Flourel Cartell.
"The Real Saintess has to be protected even if we sacrifice a fake one in the process"
He said with a calm smile on his face as he fixed his glasses. But before he could continue doing his work, he glanced back at the Priest first.
"Is there something more you have to say?"
At his question, the priest immediately shook his head and hurriedly left.
