"I suggest that Lady Remil should never get out of her house from now on"
Teressa mumbled with seriousness in her eyes.
"Is it that serious!?"
Amelia exclaimed while staring at Remil.
"Yes, you could say that it's a good thing Lady Remil is lazy. If she showed her face from the beginning. You can just imagine all the men in the Kingdom trying to kidnap her"
"What!!? NOOOOOOO!! She's only 5!"
Amelia shouted and stood up. Pulling Remil in a tight embrace.
"You do know that you're both twins and you're eleven now, right?"
"In my eyes she's a baby!"
At Amelia's words Teressa closed her eyes then looked down at the cup of tea in her hand and drink it.
[There is no point using your head here, Teressa] She thought so with a smile and looked back at Amelia.
"So, what about the servants? Do they know what she looks like too?"
"They do, but… Huh? Now that I think about it… There are only women here except for father and his two trusted aides"
Amelia looked at Remil and pondered.
"And whenever there's a meeting with the vassals they always met up in a different mansion. I heard we have our own knights as well but because they train somewhere else there's only knighted women here"
Teressa looked dumfounded at Amelia's words.
"Surely, the Earl and Countess are too overprotective…"
At Teressa's mumble, they both looked back at Remil who was not listening to them and was writing down in her paper.
"I did think that Rem was cute since she was a baby. I had the urge to protect her because of it but mostly because our parents told me to"
Amelia reminisced the past when she was only 6 years old.
"Ammy, you are the older sister so protect Remmy okay? You are the only one we can trust to protect her"
The Countess whispered and kissed Amelia affectionately in the cheeks.
"Let's make sure no men can come near them"
The Earl added and gripped his fist.
"But you're also a man?"
At the Countess words the Earl felt like the world was about to collapse but in the end with tears in his eyes he admitted.
"Ugh, Then I guess I can't come near them too"
At those declaration, the Earl stopped coming near Remil and only took care of her from afar.
He thinks that he does not deserve to take care of Remil because she's an angel while he's only a human.
The Countess could only look on with a smile and think of how ridiculous his declaration was.
Amelia told the Earl that she is fine meeting him, so he was happy.
The three of them together from time to time would meet up to enjoy each other's company and sometimes talk about Remil.
Unfortunately, even if he does not try. The Earl could still not see Remil as she keeps locking herself in her room and not meeting anyone.
"I guess the three of us were secretly happy that Remil doesn't attend any parties. We want her to enjoy the joys in life, but we also think that we must keep her away from other people's eyes"
After saying those words an idea came to mind and Amelia stood up.
"If it comes to this then I guess that's the only solution!!"
When Amelia shouted in excitement. Teressa could only look back at her in confusion.
"A mask! Let us give her a mask! That way no one can see Remil's face at all, but she can still show herself to others!!"
"Oooh, that's a good idea…"
Teressa clapped in a dry tone while Amelia felt proud of her thoughts.
"But are you forgetting the fact that it's not about the face that Lady Remil doesn't attend the parties?"
Teressa added.
"Ah"
From the realization that hit her, both Teressa and Amelia sighed in defeat.
Soon their conversation started to change towards the reason why Teressa came for a visit.
"Remil is not my sister!!!? Who said such nonsense!?"
Amelia shouted angrily while Teressa held Amelia's arms and pulled her back.
"I know you're angry, even I do too. I know how much you care about your sister that's why I'm telling you this right now"
Amelia sat back down and cleared her throat after looking at Teressa.
"Everyone keeps saying you're a fake Saintess too. Can you at least mind about that as well?"
Teressa said and crossed her arms but Amelia only smiled and shrugged it off.
"I don't really care if I'm a Saintess or not. At the end of the day, I am Amelia Azrael not the Saintess. My only problem right now is that people keep saying Rem is not my twin!!"
Amelia raised her fist while Teressa stared at her and grinned.
"Then for now, I'll watch out for the second Saintess for you so leave this to me, Lady Amelia"
"Haha, thank you Teressa. Ah, can I call you that from now on? You can call me Amelia too!"
"I'd be honored to Lady--- I mean Amelia"
The two ladies laughed for a long time knowing how much they enjoyed the small tea party together.
When Teressa was about to stand up, both Amelia and Teressa were surprised when Remil also stood up.
"You're free to call me by my name too, Teressa"
Remil said and held out her hand to Teressa.
For the very first time, Remil spoke to her that Teressa felt a burst of joy hitting her soul.
She felt so proud as if she won a gold medal that is being handed to her directly by the King.
No, not just the king but the Emperor himself!
On that day, Remil gained another fanatic sister who is willing to sacrifice their life for her.
The small tea party ended and Teressa left the mansion in a good mood.
Amelia showed Teressa off with a smile on her face while looking back at Remil who is standing behind her.
"Isn't it great that you made a friend? I should have done this from the beginning if I know you'll be fine with it"
Amelia said and grinned.
Remil could only stare at her while looking at the place where the carriage left off.
"Teressa is a great person. She won't betray you"
Remil said in happy tone despite her bland expression while Amelia stared back in confusion.
"Are you worried for me?"
Amelia teased but Remil had already ran away after knowing what's coming.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After the meeting with Teressa the Azrael family concluded to give Remil a mask and hide her face.
Remil did not care as she had no idea why people would care about her face that much, so she accepted it without complaint.
Even inside the house Remil wore the mask without fail.
It did not obstruct her work nor made her feel uncomfortable.
In fact, Remil felt safer with the mask on.
Not realizing that the reason why Remil hates going out was because she was showered with eyes all over her since she was an infant.
Remil unconsciously got the distaste of meeting anyone and having their gaze be pointed at her.
With the mask on, even if the gaze was pointed at her she somehow feels like they are not seeing her.
That made her feel comfortable that she surprised everyone by walking around the mansion to explore more.
"Urg, My baby…. She's grown up now*hic*"
The Countess teared up while looking at Remil who was sitting on the bench in the garden.
The Earl who was beside Avelyn was more than happy to see his daughter's possibly first walk.
He secretly told the Butler to create more masks for Remil with all kinds of designs and shape and to also beautify the garden and the inside of the mansion.
Everyone got busy after Remil went back to her room and a lot of funds were spent to make the inner mansion feels like a museum.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Remil opened the Book of Life that she had called out.
For the past few days, she eavesdropped for the gossips here and there and discovered the name of the second Saintess.
She turned the pages in a skillful manner and found the letter F section to find the name Flourel.
"Flourel Cartell"
She said out loud and the book of life changed its cover from The Book of Life to a Title name: Flourel Cartell.
Remil immersed her full on focus on the page in front of her and started reading.
Flourel Cartell, an orphan child who was left alone after the death of her mother who died while giving birth.
She has a father that no one knows who and where he was, or if he is alive or not.
Flourel lived a normal life in the orphanage, helping the children and the adults to take care of the place.
She got the name Cartell from the name of the orphanage indicating that she is an orphan.
The life in the orphanage was fine. No one abuses her like what Remil thought but the life is still hard.
Though she got verbally abused whenever she steps outside and received people's discrimination.
The book of life showed nothing threatening for now so Remil closed the book.
With a small shake of her hand the Book of Life disappeared out of thin air and Remil got back to writing her book again.
Remil is a witch.
And not just a normal witch, but the Progenitor of the Witches. The beginning of her species.
Once every thousands of years, a Progenitor can be sent to the world whose sole task is to protect and create big changes to the world.
They are an additional race that exists amongst the first ever race which is the humans.
Remil is the fifth Progenitor of the world having the Progenitor of the Dragons, Spirits, Elves, and Dwarves to be already in existence before her.
The role of the dragon was to humble the humanity who keeps fighting each other or having the greed to take over the world.
He is the strongest being in existence as he can only be scratched if millions of men fight against him.
There are only ten dragons in existence with four of them being the child of the Progenitor of the Dragons while the rest were humans who got blessed to become a dragon.
All the dragons were currently in a very deep sleep because nothing fascinates them anymore.
Next is the Spirit.
The role of the spirit was to cause changes in the nature depending on the actions of the humans.
They give punishments by sending long periods of drought or sending people quakes and storms.
The Spirits have the power to control all the elements that make up the world and only a few chosen humans can have a contract with them to borrow their power.
Spirits are born in equivalent to the human population and a few spirits can naturally disappear if the humans decline in numbers.
Towards the humans, Spirits have a love and hate relationship with them as humans harms the nature in every way they can.
The third is the Elves.
The role of the elves was to be the prophet and the voice of the heavens.
They brought religion to the world that most of the High Priests in existence are elves.
Elves have the power to see the Spirits and interact with them and they can also see the inner souls of every living being to judge them.
The Progenitor of the Elves are now dead and had become the World Tree himself. All the elves in existence are mostly his descendants.
The World Tree was the place where the elves built their own country and lived-in peace.
The fourth is the Dwarves.
There is not much to them other than the fact that they can craft better than humans.
They came from another world that was about to be destroyed by the rocks falling from space.
With the help of the god, the Progenitor of the Dwarves was given the power to move between several dimensions.
And using that power he arrived in this world together with his people to seek refuge.
No one knows about the fact that the Dwarves came from another world.
Everyone thinks that they are simply living in secrecy from the beginning that no one was able to find them.
That until the war against monsters from three centuries ago happened and the Dwarves showed themselves to fight against the monsters.
Despite having a look that is closer to humans, the dwarves can be differentiated amongst the others because of the unchanging white hair and small pointed ears in their race.
The same with the Progenitor of the Elves. The Progenitor of the Dwarves is also dead.
Last is the Witches, their role is to bring magic and longevity in this world.
Everyone in the world has a mana in their body but it remains unused because of magic being nonexistent.
With the appearance of a new progenitor, it is now possible to become powerful and have the capability of using magic.
If one masters magic it is even possible to live for a long time just like the Dragons and the Spirits.
Remil called out the Book of Spells that she had not seen yet.
Her powers consisting of The Book of Life, The Book of Curses, and The Book of Spells.
The Book of Spells consist of a hundred spells that only she can speak and read. She called it the Witches' Language.
