Jade turned around and went into the house. In her mind she saw the beasts behind her thrusting their hips as they walk after her and were drooling like dogs that smelled food. This was not really happening, but it made Jade laugh to herself. But it was very apparent that they both were watching her. Jade went to the bathroom to get dressed. When she was in there, she heard crashing and someone yelping. She hurried to get the remaining clothes on and leave the bathroom. There in the living room Chad was stuck under Jinks' cat tree and Jinks was hanging on to the wolfs balls.
Jade (amused): What's going on here?
Mark: Get this thing off of me!
Jade walked up and got Jinks. Jinks' fur was very poofed up and was about to attack again.
Jade (still amused): Jinks what is going on?
Jinks: They were going to go try to get in the bathroom. The pervs!
Chad (getting out of the cat tree): No, I was going to see if my love needed help.
Mark: I was stopping this thing from going to my mate.
Jade (hugging Jinks tight): Number one, wolf, I don't even know your name. Two, I do not want nor need your help.
Mark (looking stupid): I am Mark, I am Alpha of the pack down the road.
Chad *snickers*
Jade: What does all this have to do with me?
Mark: You are my mate and the Luna of my pack.
Chad: No! You are my wife to be. I have been waiting for you for 300 years!
Jade: I am not your mate, nor am I your wife to be. I am an asexual vampire.
Mark and Chad looked at each other and back at Jade. They don't understand what she is talking about.
Chad: What does that mean?
Jade: I do not have sexual feelings or desires.
This puzzled the two beasts. They have never head of such a thing.
Mark: I don't understand.
Jade (annoyed): I don't want sex or anything of the like.
Chad (cocky): I bet you will when you see my rock hard abs.
Mark: You will not show my mate anything like that. My mate will only see me naked and not you.
Jinks (mocking): I'm a big, strong, stupid wolf that can't understand anything. I am an even stupider vampire that thinks I am god's gift to women.
The two fighting me looked at the fluffy cat in Jade's arms. But what the two men saw made them angry. Jade was holding the Jinks to her breast, Mark believing that Jinks was actually a human or a shiffter. He did not want that thing next to his mate's breast. Chad looking just as angry at the fluffy kitty next to Jade, his wife to be. Both men walked up to Jade and had their dreaded eyes on Jinks.
Mark (growling): Who are you and why are you with my mate?
Jinks: I am her man. I sleep with her during the day and she makes me food at night.
Chad: She is not your wife, she is MINE!
Mark: She is neither of your guys. She is my MATE!
Jinks: You morons, I was not saying that I am Jade's (mocking) 'wife to be' or (mocking) 'mate'. I am her protector.
Jade: Will you nitwits please leave so I can go get supper?
Chad: I will come hunting with you.
Mark: No, I will come with you so that way I can protect you.
Jade: Fine, both can go with me. I just want to go eat and come back and cook for Jinks.
The men didn't really want each other to go, but they did for Jade. They all got into Jade's car and left to the next town. Both men were trying to get Jade's attention, but all Jade wanted was to hurry up and find dinner. She managed to lose them for a minute and in that minute she was at a bar fly. As she was eating, both Chad and Mark found her.
Chad: You're eating without me, babe?
Mark (looking sick)
Jade ignored them and finished her meal. Chad grabbed a drunk man and ate him. He didn't kill him first and just feasted on his warm blood. After that, they left. Jade was hoping to leave them there, but she wasn't so lucky. The ride back home was filled with bickering from the two men, Jade wanting nothing to do with either of the men and tuned them out. She pulled into her driveway and parked. Jade got out of the car and went into her house. The men followed her.
Jinks (having a good idea): Hey baby, did you eat?
Jade looking very confused at Jinks. Jinks winked at her to play along. Jade picked up Jinks and held him.
Jade: Yeah, I did. What do you want for supper?
Jinks licked Jade's cheek.
Jinks: Anything is fine with me, babe.
Both men are irate at this. The cat Jinks is putting the moves on their mate. Jade kissed Jinks on his head and sat him down and went to the kitchen. Jade was going to make pizza for Jinks means it is his favorite.
Mark (angry): Stop this now! She is my mate. You can not take my mate from me.
Chad (just as angry): You both need to stop this. She is my wife to be and she will be with me and we will start a family.
Jinks (playing cocky): Oh, really? I am the one that is already in the house and, like I said before, I sleep with her and she cuddles me. You see how she kissed me and not any of you?
Jinks smiled at the two men. Both Mark and Chad will have to win Jade's heart from this 3rd man. But they do not realise that Jinks nor Jade think of each other like that.
