Jinks crawled up to Daisy and licked her paw. Jade was in the kitchen cooking Chicken Alfredo for her two lovely cats. When it was done, she plated it on to two plates. Jade walked into the living room to give the cats their food. She saw Daisy curled up next to Jinks and Jinks was licking her. Jade smiled at the two. She loved them with what heart she has. Jade put the plates down for the two. Jinks let Daisy pick what plate she wanted. Daisy jumped up and shoved her face into the food. Jinks went to the other plate and ate slowly. He knew Daisy needed the food more than him. He also knew Jade wouldn't leave unless she knew both of them were full. Daisy was making a mess, but neither Jinks nor Jade mind. Daisy ate all her food. Jinks stopped eating and looked at Daisy.
Jinks: If you are still hungry, you can eat mine.
Daisy: But that is yours.
Jinks: It's fine, I'm sure there is more.
She looked at Jade, and Jade nodded and left to get more. Daisy went and started to eat off of Jinks' plate. Daisy has never been treated this well, not from a vampire nor another cat. Jade filled the plate as full as she could and gave it to them. Jinks started to eat and soon both kitties were full. Jinks cleaned Daisy and Jade cleaned the futon. Jade left the house and there, by her car, were Mark and Chad. Mark had Chad above his head.
Chad: Put me down, you unclean dog!
Mark: I told you to stay away.
Mark threw Chad towards the woods, but Chad landed on his feet and went to attack Mark. To Jade, they look like two children fighting over a toy.
Jade: What's going on?
Mark and Chad had each other in a headlock. They looked at Jade. They let go of each other and walked fast to her. Jade is feeling annoyed by them.
Mark: Good umm night, my mate.
Chad: You look beautiful tonight, love.
Jade: Yeah, whatever. What's with you two and why did you leave 'gifts' at my door?
Mark: Did you like it?
Jade: Jinks packed them off to the woods.
Chad: That damn cat! It is a token of my love for you.
Mark: That cat is sabotaging me. I wanted to prove that I could hunt and feed my mate.
Jade (rolling her eyes): Thanks.
Chad: Who's gift did you like better?
Both Chad and Mark looked at her to see what she would say. Jade feeling nice because of Daisy coming into her life.
Jade: I would rather not have a dead animal, but I guess they were both nice.
That was a mistake on Jade's part. That made them think that they were winning over Jade. Jade unlocked her car and got in. Chad and Mark were fighting over who gets to sit next to Jade. Jade, having enough of this, just wants it to stop.
Jade: Stop, just stop. Mark can sit next to me first. Then Chad can sit next to me on the way back. Now get your fat asses in the car.
Mark smiled at Chad and got in. Chad's face soured and got in. Jade drove to the next town over. She was the first to get out of the car. Mark kept trying to hold her hand and Chad kept complain about Mark. Jade ran for her life. She knew they would find her because they could smell her. But she wanted to get away from them even for a moment. Chad was carrying a man that was passed out.
Chad: Here baby, I got you dinner.
Jade wasn't in the mood, so she ate the guy Chad gave her. But Chad saw that she loved his 'hunting' skills and took that as him starting to win her over. Mark, on the other hand, was upset that Jade ate his offering and had to think of a way to feed his mate without giving her human life. Chad ran off to get his own meal.
Mark: Jade, you are my mate. You shouldn't take things from him.
Jade getting sick of the men fighting, but seeing how it hurt Mark. She halfheartedly hugged him. That made Mark's wolf scream with excitement. Chad saw and got pissed off, but before another fight could happen, Jade took both their hands and went back to her car.
Jade (regretting): Mark, do you know how to drive?
Mark: Yes I do.
Jade gave him her keys and got in the middle of the car. Mark got in the driver's seat and Chad was in the passenger seat. Mark drove Jade home, Mark was holding Jade's left hand and Chad was holding her right. When they got to Jade's house, it was a quiet ride for once. Chad got out of the car, and so did Mark. Jade went out Chad's side, and that made Mark frown. Jade hurried and went into the house. Both Chad and Mark tried to get into the house at the same time. They were now stuck in the door frame.
Chad: Move your fat ass, dog.
Mark: your breath stinks like shit.
But they finally squeezed through the door frame and into the living room. Daisy walked up to Jade and Jade picked her up.
Daisy: We missed you so much, baby.
Daisy kissed her. Jade was confused at first until she saw Jinks' shit-eating grin. Jinks walked up and Jade picked him up, too.
Jade: I missed you both too.
Jade covered the cats in kisses, Jinks, and Daisy kissed her back.
Chad: What the hell is going on here?!
Mark: Who is this now?!
Jade: This is Daisy.
Both Mark and Chad looked at the new rival and they didn't like it, no, not one bit.
Jade: Daisy, Jinks are you hungry?
Jinks: We would like ice cream.
Jade set the kitties on the futon and went to get the kitties their ice cream. Jade popped her head out of the kitchen.
Jade: Mark, would you like to have an ice cream with the kitties?
Mark being happy.
Mark: Yes, please.
Chad looked upset. But he knew that he didn't eat human food. Jade went into the living room and gave Mark and Jinks their ice cream. She picked up Daisy and put her on her lap and sat in the middle of the futon. Jade helped Daisy eat her ice cream. Jinks crawled onto Jade's lap, Chad sat on Jade's left, and Mark sat on her right. For right now, everyone was happy.
