Sammy Comes For a Visit.
Jade cooked the frozen pies for her beloved kitties. When they were done, she took Daisy's and put it on a plate and put it in the freezer to cool off. Then she plated Jinks. Then there was a knock on the door. Jade knew that it was Mark. She could smell his wolf.
Jinks: wolf man is here.
Jade went to the living room.
Mark (smiling): I have a gift for you.
Mark gave Jade a bag. Jade looked inside and saw there were bags of blood. He must have gotten them from a blood bank or a hospital.
Jade: Thanks.
Mark: You're welcome. This way you don't have to go out and maybe we could have dinner together.
Jade: Sure.
Jade went back to the kitchen and put a pot pie in the microwave. When it beeped, Jade made sure it was done and plated it. She took one bag of blood out of the bag and put the rest in the fridge. Jade took out a tray and put everyone's food on it and took it to the living room. Then Chad was banging on the door. Jade walked to it, even though Mark was asking her not to with his eyes. Jade opened the door and Chad walked in.
Chad (upset): Dog, you can not do this to me. You tied me up and ran here.
Mark (growling in anger): She is my mate, she is not yours!
Jade (just sick of it): Mark, Chad, just stop. Chad come join us. Mark brought blood. We can all eat together.
Mark: I got that for you, (sneering) not for him.
Jade: Come on, both of you. We need to stop this. Please, just get along. (cringing) For me.
Both Mark and Chad wanted to do anything for Jade, so they will tolerate each other. Jade went and got another bag of blood and went back to the living room. They all sat down on the futon together. Jinks and Daisy were on Jade's lap. They were eating their supper, Daisy was making a mess. But Jade didn't care that bits of food were now on her legs. Mark was eating, but he wasn't used to food like this and he was used to bigger portions. Chad was sucking on the blood bag. It was okay. But it was cold, he is used to warm blood. Jade sucked on her bag. She didn't care. It was food. They all sat there as "The Cable Guy" played. Jinks loved Jim Carrey. Daisy wasn't really into TV. She would rather play with the toys, then to binge watch movies. When everyone was done with their meal, Jade cleaned up and changed her pants. Mark and Chad were giving each other dirty looks, but they didn't say a word. Jinks was cleaning Daisy's face. Daisy was just sitting there and letting him. Jade sat on the floor and was just watching her fur babies. Mark and Chad were upset that she was on the floor and not moving the cats and sit next to them. Chad got up and sat next to her and took her hand. Mark, seeing this upset him more, so he got up and sat on her other side and took her other hand. Jade was tolerating it. She is hoping Sammy comes soon. Sammy was going to fly to Minnesota, so Jade is hoping she will get there soon. Dawn was approaching. Jade shook the guy's hands off of hers and she got up off the floor. Both Chad and Mark followed. They knew it was time for them to leave, but they just didn't want to go.
Jade: Well, you should go now.
Mark: Jade, maybe I could stay with you. You are my mate, after all.
Chad: NO! You should let me stay, for you are my wife to be.
Jinks: That's not going to happen. Jade only has a coffin, and Daisy and I sleep with Jade.
Mark (growls): Stop trying to take my mate away from me!
Jade: Stop, just stop. Maybe next time, Okay? I will get a bigger coffin or a bed, or something. Finally, Mark and Chad reluctantly left. Jade locked the door and scooped up her fur babies and went to bed. Jade was awoken by something poking her in the head. She opened her eyes to see a gray-haired woman, Sammy.
Jade: Really? That's how you wake me up?
Sammy: How else am I to get the dead up?
Jade: Why couldn't I smell you?
Sammy (shrugging): I hid my sent.
Jade: Of course you did. How long have you been here?
Sammy: About 2 hours, I was playing with Daisy.
Jade (getting out of the coffin): She loves to play.
Jade and Sammy left the bedroom and went into the kitchen. Sammy had a teakettle on the stove.
Jade: I see you are making yourself at home.
Sammy: I knew you wouldn't have tea or anything, so I brought my own.
Sammy is a 95-year-old seer (a higher level psychic). She has gray hair and dual brown eyes. Sammy is covered with wrinkles; she is a dirty minded witch. She was the one that took care of Jade. Sammy loves Jade like her own child. Sammy is a short woman, only 4 feet tall, but she is a firecracker. She poured the hot water into a cup and put a tea bag in. Jade and Sammy moved into the living room and had a seat on the futon.
Jade: How was the flight?
Sammy: Same as usual. Nothing happened. Enough about that. Tell me about the two desirable men that are after you.
Jade: Sammy, we both know that you know about them.
Sammy: Yes, Hot red head wolf and a sexy vampire. So, you decided to be their mates and you want my help.
Jade: Yeah, I don't know what to do.
Sammy: Jade, you realize that you will never love either of them, right?
Jade: I know, but I also know that I have to do what is right. You taught me that.
Sammy (sighed): Yes I did and I am proud of you. You are doing the right thing, my dear.
Jade: I know, but thinking about them touching me makes me sick.
Sammy: There is a spell for that. I will cast a lust spell on you and all that sickness will go away.
Jade: Who should be first?
Sammy: The wolf, you will only be pregnant for 3 months. But Jade, you can do the spell on them to take the vampire's curse away or you can let it be a hybrid. You know, a werewolf-vampire.
Jade: Would that be safe?
Sammy: There is not much known about them, but from what I have seen, they will be fine.
