Jade was in the kitchen waiting for Jinks's pizza to be done cooking. She kept an eye on the men with her beloved Jinks. The men sat on the futon and were glaring at each other. When the pizza was done, Jade took it out and sliced it for Jinks. She plated it and took it to him. Jade sat on the futon and Jinks climbed on her lap. Jinks was enjoying his pizza and would give both Mark and Chad devilish smiles. Jade was petting her beloved cat as he ate. Chad and Mark were getting pissed that Jade was giving this fur ball all her attention and not to either of them. Jinks was over acting for the other males. He would sit up and give Jade kisses and would put his arms around Jade's neck and she would hold him. He would look at the beasts with a triumphant smile.
Jinks: Well boys, you should leave now. Jade and I should be getting to bed. The sun will be coming up soon.
The beasts didn't want to leave, but they knew they had to. Jade got up with Jinks in her arms. The men got up as well. Chad stepped closer to Jade and took her hand and kissed it.
Chad: Well, my fair lady, I will be back later so we can hopefully get to know each other and have dinner with each other.
Mark pushed Chad out of the way and took Jade's hand into his big warm ones and wiped Chad's kiss off of her, and then he kissed her hand.
Mark: I will becoming later, I hope that I could show you around the town and the woods.
Jade (annoyed): Yeah, whatever.
The men bid their farewells and left. Jade locked the door and was going to her coffin, Jinks still in her arms.
Jade: Jinks what the was that all about?
Jinks: I was just trying to get under their skin, I must say it worked beautifully.
Jade just rolled her eyes at the cat in her arms as she crawled into bed and let the darkness overcome her. Jinks heard a noise. He could smell Mark. Jinks jumped out of the coffin and went to his room to see what that boneheaded wolf was up to. He jumped on his windowsill and looked out the window. There, next to the door, was a dead deer. The smell of the dead animal made Jinks sick. Then he saw it, Mark's red wolf. Looking happy at the present that he had left Jade. Jinks was utterly dumbfounded at what this wolf was trying to do. One thing that was unknown to Jinks was that Mark and Chad had vowed that they will both try to win the fair Vampire's love and affection. Jinks was unaware that he was caught up in this war. Not only are the two men trying to make Jade fall for one of them, but they want to take Jade away from the cat that had a hold on her heart. Jade slept threw out the day without interruption. Jade got out of the coffin and couldn't find Jinks. The door was open. She walked to the door and heard Jinks.
Jinks: You stupid neanderthals!
There Jade saw a Jinks trying to pull something away from the door. Jade went to go see what was going on. Jinks was trying with all his might to drag a dead bear away from the house.
Jade: What's this?
Jinks (letting go): The stupid Chad brought this as a 'gift for his soon to be wife'. Before this, the stupid wolf brought a dead deer.
The poor cat was huffing and puffing, he was tired. Jade grabbed the bear and tossed it into the wood. She picked up the weak kitty and brought him into the house. She sat him on the couch and gave him some water, then she decided to make him his supper first. Jade was in the kitchen when she saw a scared, small kitty running away from a fox. Jade bolted out the back door and caught up to the kitty, and grabbed it. The kitty was scared and was hissing and trying to get free, but Jade wouldn't let it go. She ran back to the house; she got into the house and shut the door.
Jade: You're safe now. Don't be scared. It's all okay. Jade tried to soothe the kitty.
The kitty looked at her. The kitty was very small, and Jade could tell that the kitty was malnourished. But Jade knows that she doesn't have anything that a normal kitty can eat.
Jade: What's your name?
Kitty: Daisy.
The cat knew that Jade wasn't human, so she thought it would be safe to talk.
Jade: I'm Jade. I have another kitty who lives with me. After I give you some water, would you like to meet him?
Daisy was unsure. Jade got Daisy a bowl of water. Daisy drank it, but she was watching Jade.
Jade: So you are a female kitty then?
Daisy: Yes.
Jade: Are you pregnant?
Daisy: No
Jade: Can I check you over to make sure that you are okay?
Daisy: I guess.
Jade looked and touched this short-haired gray kitty. Jade fell in love with this kitty and knew that she would want to take care of her.
Jade (lovely): You are such a pretty kitty. Would you like to stay here with us? I will take care of you. Sure, you being a girl kitty might make Jinks want to be your boyfriend, but I will try to make you happy. I will feed you and I can make it that you can eat whatever you want. You will have nothing to worry about. Will you stay with us?
Daisy thought about it. She was a stray cat. Daisy never had a family and was scared of another cat. She was scared that Jinks would attack her like the other street cats did. But she felt that this might be what was best for her. Daisy nodded to Jade. Jade had a big grin on her face. Jinks came into the kitchen.
Jinks: I smell something. It smells like another cat.
Then Jinks saw Daisy sitting on the counter. He could tell that she was an outside cat. But through the dirt and debris on her fur. He saw her light yellow eyes. Her eyes were like the sun. He was smitten with her.
Jade: This is Daisy, she is going to be our new friend. Daisy, this is Jinks.
Daisy looked at Jinks, unsure about this male kitty that was looking at her in a weird way. Jade placed her hands on Daisy. Jinks knew what was going to happen. Jade was going to cast a spell on Daisy, the same one that she put on him. Jade was speaking in a language that Daisy didn't understand. The lights flickered and dimmed. But Daisy didn't feel pain, she felt better. When Jade was done, she looked at Daisy with such love in her eyes. Daisy could tell that Jade loved her, even though they just met. Jade took Daisy to the bathroom and locked Jinks out, even though he said that he could help. Jade gave Daisy a bath and dried her off. She also told Daisy how a toilet worked. But she also assured Daisy that if she would rather use a kitty box, she will get that for her. Daisy said she could try to use the toilet. Jade had Daisy wrapped in a towel and brought her out to the living room and put her on the futon. Jinks jumped up and went to Daisy. Daisy was licking herself. Jinks crawled up to her slowly on his belly.
