The cold breeze blew the castle midly and almost immediately, the once colourful sky darkened into a colour that was not exactly grey but black. On que, The sky rumbled as the rain began hitting the lands lightly until it no longer was.
The palace maids seeing this, scurried around trying to close the windows to avoid the rain from giving them extra work the following day.
Unknown to everyone in the castle, far away in a location which not even the devil was aware of, sat a person who was peering into a crystal ball that showed Lisa lying on the bed.
"Queen mother, she is now alone. When do we strike?." A young woman whose beauty was immeasurable asked the person whom she had never seen the identity of.
"Patience is key young one." The unknown person spoke, the voice of the person not sounding like a female or a male's voice, rather tranquil like a spirit.
"But queen mother, she is hardly ever alone and this might be our only chance to get rid of her and take the power that harbours in her vessel!." The woman's eyes shone in determination but her master showed no signs of moving.
"Now now young one, it won't be a fight if I'm able to kill her easily now would it?."
"No queen mother." The young woman lowered her head as she silently fumed in anger.
"But if we can't kill her now, we can always cause quite a lot of harm to her." The unknown person's aura blazed and the young woman unconsciously stepped back in fear. She watched as the crystal ball swirled and her master started mumbling words under her breath that caused the already heavy rain to fall harder.
The unknown person motioned for the beautiful woman to come over and in one swift move she slit her wrist and the young woman bit her lips to avoid screaming out loud.
"The blood from a true enemy is what would make the spell more powerful." Her master whispered and made the girl's hand hover right above the ball making the blood drip on it. As soon as the blood touched it, the crystal ball showed an image of Lisa and black shadows wrapping themselves like tentacles around her.
"It is done. Now let's watch and see how she ends up killing herself." An evil smirk crawled up her face and a resounding laughter was heard next.
"It's good to be bad."

Lisa tossed around on the bed, trying to pry off the invisible ropes that were currently swirling around her but whatever it was got even stronger.
Whenever she opened her eyes or her mouth, she felt like she was drowning in an endless sea of water and it hurt like hell. Finally, she gave up and lay completely still. She felt the ropes open her mouth and slither into her body.
'please.' She pleaded in her mind.
For a second, everything became still. The shadows stopped and Lisa lay unmoving on the bed but in an instant, her eyes snapped open to show completely white irises.
Standing up, she walked out of the room in a puppet manner. All her thoughts were halted, her eyes were vacant as each step she took made her look more and more lifeless.
Lightening passed through the window and the light shone on her face that looked unearthly pale.
She continually kept walking, until she reached some stairs that led to the rooftops. There was no maid in sight as everyone had retired to their beds and that aided easy passage for her to get to the roof.
Her footsteps became slower as they were now leading her towards the roof edge. She halted just at the edge as one of legs hovered in the air and hot tears slid down her cheeks.
She couldn't stop herself. After all she had been through was she just going to end it by killing herself?.
Why did she not have a peaceful life!. Why couldn't destiny and fate let her live in peace with Lucas by her side!?.
Why...

Lucas, who had just returned from feeding, stared into a large window, watching the pitter-patter of the rain hitting against the surface of the castle roofs. While he relaxed, he spotted something on one of the roofs and the outline looked like it was a human being.
At first his eyes were clouded in confusion but soon after it turned to emense shock.
"Shit!." He cursed under his breath and immediately crashed into the glass without a second thought, jumping out of the window.
Black and white feathered wings sprouted out of his back as he swooped down to go and save Lisa who had put her other feet off the rooftops, falling from a height that she would most definitely not survive.
In the nick of time, Lucas caught her mid air and he flew back to the balcony of his window and gently dropped Lisa.
His wings flapped against each other to get the rain out before completely vanishing and almost immediately, he took her in to avoid the growing cold.
"What is wrong with you? Are you trying to kill yourself!?." He scolded her angrily but noticed that she didn't respond.
Shaking her shoulders a little, her eyes that were once in a dazed state returned back to normal.
"I don't know." She said, her voice coming out small and he hugged her tightly.
"Don't ever do that again, you scared me." He whispered and pulled back to see her crying.
"I-i don't know what happened, I promise I didn't try to kill myself." She told him but it sounded more like she was trying to convince herself.
"I don't care about that Lisa, all I care about is your safety." His eyes softened and he lifted his hand to cupp her cheeks.
"Not because it's my job but because I feel more than just that. I feel like I'm in love." His thumb brushed her skin lightly and Lisa's eyes widened in shock.
"W-what do you mean?."
"I mean I want us to start afresh. I didn't know why it took me so long to realise what I truly feel for you. I had denied it so many times despite knowing the truth."
"The truth is that I love you Lisa. I didn't think it was possible to mate twice but it actually happened." He smiled sadly at Lisa's dumbfounded expression.
"I want you to be mine. Let's start slowly." He used his index finger to graze her plump looking lips.
"What do you humans call it?." He put up a thoughtful expression before nodding to himself.
"Be my girlfriend Lisa."
Lisa"...."
Unknown to the both lovers, happiness never last forever as the beginning of happiness is always the gateway of emense pain.
