Lisa who had been trying her hardest to ignore the blonde woman terribly failed when she heard something the woman said that irked her to no end.
"Lucas, you should get married you know." She blushed, clearly hinting herself as a candidate.
"No he doesn't know." Lisa didn't turn to the woman but kept her eyes fixed on her plate. "I don't see what my guardian's marriage has to do with you?."
A smirk formed on Lucas's lips as he decided not to interfere for now and let Lisa do as she pleases.
"That's some tall words coming from a weak human who needs a guardian both at day and night." She held her nose high in the air." So why don't you keep your snotty nose out of this bitch!"
"Now.. now, Audrey watch that tongue of yours or it might get cut." Lucas mused as a smile crawled up his lips in the most terrifying way possible.
"You don't need to help me Lucas!." Lisa snapped at Lucas who returned a smile that wanted her to immediately wipe it off.
It seemed like he had been smiling a lot lately.
"If you say so." He patted her head and Audrey fumed in anger.
Before THIS human had been assigned to Lucas, she belonged to him!. She had always been there to serve all his physical needs, despite him telling her that they would have no relationship based on love, she had unconsciously falling for him. She knew that one day she would be replaced, but her honour was shattered when she found out that it was just a measly human that replaced her!.
While this human sat here like a doll all day. She went around solving crimes and punishing law offenders. What could possibly be good about her!?.
"Y-You! It's all because of you!" She glared angrily at Lisa and Lisa gave her a face that seemed disgusted.
"Why are you looking at me like that!?." Audrey frowned, slightly confused.
Lisa sighed sadly and shook her head as her beautiful face had a pitiful expression."What can I say... your face is too ugly to ignore."
Audrey's eyes widened in shock as she remained tongue tied at Lisa's words.
While Lucas couldn't be more happy at his little deer. It seemed like she had learnt quite some tricks.
Both women stared at each other without exchanging another word but there was obvious tension in the room.
Finally Audrey reacted, by making a sad face and forming tears from her eyes. She used her hand kerchief to dab the tears that were staining her cheeks subtly.
Lisa scowled, obviously knowing that she was faking to get attention from Lucas.
Such impudence!.
"Come and seat here Audrey." Lucas looked at the other seat beside him and Audrey immediately left her position to seat beside him.
"Don't cry okay?." He told her and she nodded sadly. Leaning in, he whispered something into her ears and her face turned red, instantly stopping the tears.
He obviously knew that Audrey was faking but what would life be without a little fun?.
Meanwhile, Lisa glared holes through Lucas's back. If looks could kill, he would be long dead.
She didn't know if this was what they called jealousy or just pure hatred.
She watched him whisper another thing to Audrey and both of them laughed out loud making Lisa once more pull her attention away from him.
As she went back to her food which now tasted dull for some reason, she felt a hand settle on her thighs and knowing it was only Lucas by her side, she turned to scold him but saw him casually talking to Audrey.
Not wanting to create a scene, she skillfully tried to remove his hand but he instead used that chance to move it upwards and her eyes widened. She looked around to see if anyone saw that action and to her relief they didn't.
She leaned in and whispered"What the hell are you doing?."
"What are you talking about?." He tilted his head in question.
She glared at him before returning back to her plate. She felt his hand moving up again and this time she picked up a table knife to stab his sneaky hand and he chuckled.
Yes.. his third eye was up to no good again. He was literally talking to Audrey, how the hell did he know what was happening behind him!?.
Audrey smiled shyly, thinking that Lucas was amused at what she had said but the reverse was the case.
Moving away from Audrey, he leaned in to whisper in Lisa's ear as his hand slowly moved down her thighs to stop between her legs"Planning to stab me little deer?."
Lisa couldn't be more thankful that she wore a full gown today but even so, she could still feel every touch of his.
Not wanting to stay there any longer, she excused herself and left the dining room. Just by taking a step outside, she inhaled sharply and used the wall to support the dizziness that was starting to overcome her.
Her defences were been broken by Lucas. These defences she tried so hard to build, he was breaking them too easily. She hated how good he was at seducing her. She hated how she was falling for him again, despite all he had put her through. Why couldn't she just hate him!?.
After composing herself she walked to one of the balconies that was situated close to her.
Sometimes she felt like she was been locked up here in the castle without her knowledge. Ever since she had arrived here, Lucas had not once brought her out.
It made her question Lucas's sincerety. Was there something going on that she didn't know about?.
The afternoon breeze blew subtly, pushing some strands of her hair back. Hearing footsteps behind her, she turned back to see the blue eyed man.
'What was he doing here?.'
