Lucas wasn't himself ever since he left the dining. He wanted someone to feed on, someone to relieve him of his physical needs and Lisa wasn't making it any better.

He staggered to his drinking room and continually gulped down glasses of alcohol mixed with blood but it made little to no difference to him in his situation.

He needed someone to feed on and he needed them fast. Walking down to the servants quarters didn't seem like a good idea and Theodore was out to do some work so he couldn't help him find someone.

"Look at the state you are in Lucas." Audrey walked into the room and locked the door behind her.

"Don't you dare come here Audrey." He watched her flinch but she continued walking towards him.

"Don't deny what you want." She tilted her head for her neck to show and he could feel his throat burn as he watched her veins.

She stood in front of him and ran her slender fingers across his chest to open his button one by one.

"I'm going to regret this." He muttered and sank his fangs into her neck, sucking the sweet blood that flowed from it.

Taking blood straight from the source was way better than drinking it from a cup.

He felt her take his hands to wrap around her waist and him taking the lead, pushed her to the couch.

"Don't stop Lucas." She moaned and pressed herself closer to him as he continually gulped the blood from her neck.

Lucas heard the door open and inhaled the scent he least expected. He immediately pulled away but it was too late, he saw her face. She was shocked. Scared even.

What would she think seeing him in this position.

Her gaze trailed down his face and he instantly realised what she was staring at.

His fangs.

"Lisa-" He called out but she had already turned around to run away.

He stood up hastily and retracted back his fangs before running his hand through his hair.

"Lucas you have to forget about her." Audrey stood up with the intention to touch him but he forcefully threw her to the floor.

"Touch me again and I'll kill you before you take another single breath." He warned and left the room to find Lisa before she did something stupid

She ran and ran until she finally arrived at her room. Without wasting another minute, she entered and locked the door securely.

As if that could stop him. A voice taunted.

She heaved for air as her chest rose and fell quickly. Placing her hand on her chest, she took a deep breath and let it out.

She couldn't control the emotions that were currently swirling in her heart.

She was angry.

scared.

But most of all, she was hurt.

She and Lucas hadn't even solved their first argument, yet he was bringing another reason for her to hate him.

Why did he have to do this? Why did this feel twice as painful than him actually saying what he said before.

"Lisa" She heard Lucas's voice from behind the door. Startled, she immediately moved away from it and her heart ached even more.

"Are you here to betray me again?." She forced the pain she felt to a corner of her heart and asked angrily.

"You have to hear me out." He said and she instantly knew what was going on. He could easily enter the room, yet he wasn't doing that. He was giving her a choice.

"I don't want to hear anything from you." Her eyes stung and she blinked back the tears that threatened to spill out.

"I needed blood from her." His voice came from behind her and she quickly turned around to see Lucas whose hair was scattered and the first few buttons of his shirt loose showing his tonned chest that peeked beneath it.

Her heart fluttered but she quickly shook her head, backing away from him slowly.

"You needed blood?." She repeated sarcastically. "I didn't know that's how they took blood Lucas."

"You are taking this too seriously" He frowned.

"Like I said, I don't want to hear anything from you, you traitor! Don't waste your time by been here with me! Go back and have fun with that woman!." The tears finally fell down her cheeks and she saw him move but she stopped him.

"Don't." Her voice cracked and she finally smiled"If you are allowed with any woman then I can seek pleasure from any man I want."

His jaw clenched and his face hardened " You will do nothing of that such Lisa."

"I wonder who will be a good candidate." She continued and a flicker of annoyance passed through his eyes.

" Someone stronger, handsome, sexy. Maybe I should meet Ezekiel. He seems like a man that would make a woman feel good." She put up a thoughtful expression and turned to pull the door handle but Lucas pushed her against the door and glared at her with his eyes full of anger.

"Don't play with fire Lisa, or you will get burnt." He whispered. His eyes had changed to a different colour but that didn't scare her.

"Then burn me Lucas." She challenged him and something seemed to have snapped within Lucas.

Grabbing her hair, he slammed his lips on hers and she immediately stiffened. Her first thought was to push him away but something deep within her bloomed and she realised that she didn't want it to stop. She had taken a bite of this fruit before and now she wanted the whole tree.

How could something forbidden be so sweet?.

One of his hands slithered around her waist as his lips kissed hers hungrily, his lips were persistent against hers as if trying to say something he didn't want to say with his mouth. His tongue blazed with fire and it left her completely breathless.

He was angry, frustrated, hurt. All that she could understand it all the while they kissed.

His tongue invaded her mouth, claiming each corner of her mouth until she moaned at each stroke.

He pulled her closer until their body pressed against each other, his second hand reached for her butt, rubbing her hips against his groin and a low growl escaped his mouth.

"I'll make you feel better than what Ezekiel can even dream of doing."
