"AAAAAAARRRRRHHH!!!" The screaming brought attention to the Swordsman.
He fell to the ground as a green black flame covered his whole body. The light shield appeared on his body but didn't do anything to protect him.
Michael walked over to the fallen Swordsman and placed his boot on the back of his head before pushing down.
"Do you have no honor or respect, where is your arrogance now?" Michael smiled before kicking the downed man in the side of the head knocking him out.
As more people's attention was brought over from the scream,
Seeing that someone had stood up to this group, others started to have these thoughts as well. And because of the screaming people started to get upset as they were woken up from their meditation.
The leader saw this and his eyes narrowed as he became mad, if they receive too much attention then either one, they get everyone who's threatened by them ganging up on them or two the strong groups will notice and easily take them down.
And he needs to avoid this, as even Chang Heng can't save him with all these people here.
"What are they doing?"
"Are they attacking students?"
"That can't be right?"
"Y-yeah, if they are then they'll spend the rest of their lives in prison."
"They'll wouldn't be that stupid right."
And the situation went from bad to worse but it only went down from there.
"Hey what are you all doing?" A young woman walked over and asked lightly with a soft pleasant voice.
She wore a full set of mage gear but at first glance you couldn't tell what quality it was, only that it was super expensive.
Her staff was made of a white metal with a clear magic crystal that matched her set of white robes and her white witch hat.
Seeing her the leader of the thieves felt danger as the whole world turned gray around him and all he could see she her beautiful smiling face.
Smiling lightly she push her golden blonde hair behind her ear before speaking.
"Now what are you all doing, I hope your not actually attacking students are you?" She poked her cheek with her finger as she asked like they were nothing more then young children.
"N-No W-we aren't, W-We're just impacting experience on them." The leader stuttered as he quickly answered as fast as he could, his face was completely pale, his back drenched in sweat and his body shook in fear.
"Ah, that's good because if you really were then.. Well it's good you weren't." She said with a innocent face and voice.
"T-Then we'll go." He hurriedly said as he called his crew to leave.
"Boss why are we giving up?"
"Yeah boss, there's only one of them we can take her."
"Shut up and just follow me you morons." The boss instantly got scared at the mention of that female mage, than it turned into anger.
Watching them leave while carrying the knocked out Swordsman the Students heaved a sigh of relief.
They went to thank their unknown savior but had found that she had disappeared without them noticing.
Victor held his chin as he looked at the location where she disappeared in thought.
"Hmm, interesting....." He smiled lightly before turning away with Michael and heading over to find a new spot with the Fire Principle unobstructed.
"Umm t-thank you for helping us." Roxy bowing slightly said as she dragged Daisy over as well.
"Ah it's not problem, you needed help and we were here so of course we'd help." Michael said with a cheeky smile giving her a thumbs up before hurrying to follow Victor.
"Y-yes t-thank you!" Roxy's face became slightly red as she became flustered.
She didn't know what came over her but seeing his smile and kindness she just became flustered and didn't know what to do.
Realizing that they didn't get the two's name Roxy quickly called out to Michael.
"What's your names?" Roxy's face went even redder as she yelled.
"Huh? Oh I'm Michael Knight and he's Victor Wise, it's a pleasure to meet you all." Michael waved back with a smile.
"They are nice." Roxy said with a slight dreamy look in her blue eyes.
"No they weren't otherwise they would have helped earlier." Daisy said with annoyance and arrogance all over her face.
"Don't say that." John said as he came over drinking a healing potion as he rubbed his sore neck.
Daisy's face became red at John's input and criticism.
Not far away Victor and Michael moved through the different crowds.
"So why did we get involved, after all your not one too get involved in stupid stuff like this?" Michael asked as he pulled two lollipops from out of his pocket, handing one over to Victor who gave him a weird look before taking it.
"That's because they wanted to severely injure them, if we didn't help them than they would've continued till they got to us." Victor answered putting the lollipop into his mouth.
"Aaa we all know that's not the real reason and you know it. Cold Victor, no emotion Victor is what others and yourself see you as but no you aren't cold on the inside. No your deep down kind and nice." Michael smiled as he pointed the lollipop in his fingers at Victor.
Victor stared at him with a weird look like 'Of course I have other emotions'.
"Think what you like." Victor replied as he walked away causing Michael to smile as he knew he was right. Infact Michael was completely right as the main reason why Victor help them was because they needed help, the reason he gave he just simply thought of right now.
"Oh yeah how did you know that their purpose was to seriously injure them? After all their information was hidden?" Michael asked.
"Well simple I saw them with Chang Heng earlier and knowing his character I thought of why they would go around robbing people." Victor answered his question.
No one actually knew the names of those 'thieves' as they were using items to hide their information such as their names and class.
And that's one of the main reasons why they had so much confidence in not getting into trouble but there are ways to find out it's just they either don't know or didn't think anyone would have the ability to.
Finding a small place Victor sat down with Michael and started to meditate on the Principle.
At first he couldn't focus on it correctly like he wasn't meant to learn it, as if it was not compatible with him.
Even after half an hour nothing happened as Victor for some reason was blocked from grasping this Principle.
"Sigh, so you aren't compatible with Fire, that's is disappointing as here I thought you would be able to pass this Trial but no matter how talented you are you can't force something...."
"Well if you had enough time you should be able to as it's only a entry level Principle but unfortunately you don't have the time...."
The voice spoke to itself as it watched all of the challengers but most of his attention was on Victor who not only grasped the Wind Principle faster than anyone else by a huge gap but also had a way to help others as well.
"Sigh what a waste of a talent to die here but there's nothing I can do if only this trial was of a different type or that there was someone else who could complete this but unfortunately there isn't...."
The being turned his gaze away to watch other challengers but right as it did it felt that strange Aura once more although a lot weaker.
Victor felt like he needed more time but he knew he didn't have that much left, feeling himself lose his calm he stopped and took a deep breath before trying to calm his mind but there was nothing.
Victor tried one last time, breathing in and out as he stopped thinking about the time he had left, his problems and the potential danger around him.
It was in that moment that a single memory came to his mind.
"Now, now what's my little Vic so upset about? Come here tell me all about it.... Ah there there it's not your fault, you don't have to be sad or upset....." A beautiful woman with her face slightly blurred smiled at the young Victor while giving him a hug.
"Here I'll tell you a secret just for you, whenever I get sad, angry or upset I stop and take in a deep breath, hold it, 1 2 3 4 5.... then I let it out. Come on why don't you try, that's it!" She said while giving him a hug as she played with his pure snow white hair and patted his back.
"Are you feeling better now? That's amazing you did your first try!" She smiled as she lifted small Victor up into the air and celebrated as she cheered him on.
Victor breathing stopped before he took a large deep breath and held it for ten seconds before letting it go along with his stress as his body relaxed and his mind opened.
And immediately a image started to form in his mind of a small ember appeared before falling down to the ground.
It sat there for a few seconds before the ground around it started to heat up and burn.
The ember grew fast as it spread, it started to burn everything as it increased in size and temperature.
It traveled a long the ground and up trees as it grew in size and heat.
Victor watched this as he understood more about fire and as he did he entered into a state of enlightenment.
Soon Michael followed as the Aura from Victor once again appeared allowing Michael to gain a understanding of Fire as well.
