Gary was at a loss for words as he heard this ridiculous demand.
Detective Parker said, "Mr Hawk, I'm sorry but we....."
Tony cut him off. "I don't recall talking to you?"
He turned to Gary. "I am talking to him."
Gary replied, "Its just as Detective Parker said, we can't do that."
Tony banged the desk. "I said take him out! Now!"
"But sir...." "Now!!!"
Gary spoke with a firm tone, "Mr Hawk, your son is in custody for questioning. He will not be releases until we have gotten our answers."
Tony whipped out a pistol and aimed it at Gary's forehead. "How about now?"
Tony heard the cocking of a pistol behind him, and turned his head to see Parker pointing it at him.
He smiled. "A pistol is a very dangerous weapon, Detective. But it is only deadly, in the right hands."
He swung his leg out of nowhere, kicking the pistol out of Parker's hand.
Parker closed in on him, but Tony evaded him and struck his vagus nerve, knocking him out cold.
Tony turned to Gary, who had taken out his own gun.
"Do you dare to fire?" Tony asked smiling.
Gary's hands trembled slightly.
Tony spoke, "What's the use of pointing a gun at me when you don't intend to use it?"
Tony took the gun from Gary and placed it on the table.
"Now, tell your men to take my son out of that cell."
This time, Gary complied, "Take Ethan Hawk out of Cell 233 and bring him to my office."
A few minutes later, Ethan got in. Tony walked out without a word, with his son in tow.
In the car, Ethan spoke, "Thanks for the save, Dad."
Tony swung his hand, and a loud slapping sound rang out.
"Idiot! Couldn't you at least think up a better lie?"
Tony started the car and drove off. He looked at his right hand, which was red and stinging.
'Is his face made of steel or something?'
Ethan touched his cheek. 'That barely hurt.'
As they left, Tony spoke, "Do you know that because of your actions, the Scorpion Gang was wiped out?"
Ethan's eyes bulged in shock. "What?! How?"
Tony replied, "Probably the cops. I went to the base and found a cop's body, and you don't want to know what was inside."
"So you think the cops attacked the place?"
"I do, but the carnage in that place wasn't befitting of a cop squad. It was as if a beast ransacked the place."
Ethan instantly knew who it was. Jayden.
Tony continued, "The Scorpion Gang was a significant part of our forces, one of the reasons why we are as rich as we are now. Without them, we have weakened quite a bit."
Ethan asked, "So what are you going to do?"
"All this is because of you and that Greystone kid. I will deal with the both of you, bit first, I'll start with him."
Gary asked Parker, who had woken up, "Did you get everything?"
"Recording crystal clear, sir."
Gary smiled. "The Hawk will fall sooner than we thought."

13:00
The bell rang, signifying the end of classes for the children of Flamebird Elementary.
Kids ran into the arms of their waiting paremts , clearly overjoyed that school was over for the day.
A little girl, about six years old, left the school premises without a parent.
'I'll show them today! I'll show Mommy and Daddy that I can go home on my own!'
The little girl walked down the road, her chin held high.
'Road rules. Look left, look right, look left again.'
The coast was clear.
The little girl bravely walked across the road.
A driver was speeding on the road, oblivious to the little girl trying to cross the street.
By the time he saw her, it was to late to respond.
He hit the brakes hard and turned the steering wheel, but he still couldn't stop it from hitting her.
The car overturned and started rolling down the street, coming to a stop in the middle of the intersection.
He rushed out of the car and ran to the girl, he thought he had hit, and was amazed to see that not only was she alive, but she was unhurt.
The people there were praising a young man with a scarf covering the lower half of his face, call in him a hero.
Jayden had seen the girl about to be hit, and had mustered all the strength he had in his body, culminating in a supernatural burst of speed, grabbing the little girl and rolling out of the way.
The driver ran over to the scene, and he reeked of booze.
"Thank yoh suh moch, sir!" He spoke.
He heard a clink and the sound of something shitting behind him, and realized he couldn't move his hands.
"For drunk driving, and nearly killing an innocent little girl, you're under arrest."
The cop took him into the car, and left.
Jayden left with the little girl, forcing his way through the crowd that was commending him to no end.
'Is saving a girl that big a deal!?'
"Thank you for saving me, sir."
"Call me Jayden. What's your name?"
"Hayley Chevenix."
Jayden wondered where he had heard that last name before.
"What were you doing?"
"I was trying to go home on my own, to prove Mom and Dad that I was brave."
Jayden spoke, "Its not safe for kids to walk on the streets alone, okay?"
Hayley nodded.
"Do you know the way?" "Yes, I do."
Jayden smiled, "I'll take you there, is that okay?"
Hayley nodded vigorously.
"Jayden?"
"Yes?"
"Can we be friends?"
Jayden pondered for a moment. "Sure."
Jayden looked at the girl looking at him with a beaming smile, and thought,
'My little friend.'

Gary was in his office, when his phone rang.
"Yes, my love?"
Vanessa's worried voice came out, "Gary, its Hayley. She's not in school!"
Gary jumped out of his seat. "What!?"
"She's missing, Gary."
Gary cut the call and put on his coat, heading to the school.
An officer came in. "Chief, I have a briefing for you."
"It can wait."
"Its about your daughter, Chief."
Gary stopped and turned around. "What happened to her?"
"She was seen by one of the officers in the vicinity trying to cross the street, when a drunk driver nearly rammed into her. She was saved by a young man, supposedly a teenager, who offered to take her home, according to witnesses."
"Description?"
"Tall, lean, blackish grey hair, light brown eyes."
'Black-grey hair...'
Gary nearly yelled out, 'Greystone!!'
