Davina and Claire left the principal's office a few minutes later.
Gary slumped into the chair, beads of sweat on his forehead.
'I hope I didn't anger her in any way. I really don't want to cross paths with her mother.'
Mr Davis asked, "What's wrong, Chief? You look troubled."
'Terrified!' Gary cried inwardly.
"Its nothing. Thank you Mr Davis, I'll be heading over to the Elites block and conclude my investigation."
Gary left the room.
Two hours later...
Gary entered the last class.
He opened the door and found the Elites already standing, chorusing "Pleasant morning to Sir Chevenix!"
He was surprised.
"Morning, Elites, I hope the Principal briefed you about my visit?"
"Yes Chief!"
Gary looked around, and soon, his eyes met those of a familiar face.
Ethan.
Gary called out, "Mr Hawk, let's start with you. You were a witness to the whole incident, right?"
Ethan nodded and walked to the front, pulled a chair from a standing classmate, and sat down leisurely.
Gary observed and noticed that the student didn't say a word when his chair was colonized.
'Hmm, interesting.'
Gary proceeded to ask for a spare chair, and he got one.
After sitting , he asked Ethan to relay the events.
Ethan relayed the entire event, omitting the parts where he called out the gangsters.
The class was surprised when they heard him say Jayden killed them on his own.
A girl asked, "How can a 16 year old kill sixteen men on his own?"
Ethan asked, "Who exactly is this 16 year old? A Greystone! Who knows what kind of martial arts the guy learns at home! I'm saying he killed them all on his own! If you don't believe me, then don't! You weren't there to see it anyway!"
A calm voice rang out, "But I was."
All eyes turned to the corner, where Aiden had gotten up, and was slowly walking to the front with rage filled eyes.
Ethan slowly gulped. 'I definitely did not see that coming.'
He was in deep trouble now!
Aiden asked, "Chief Chevenix, may I tell my tale of events?"
Gary asked, "Sure, you can, kiddo. Name please?"
"Aiden Walker, Jayden's friend."
Gary motioned for him to continue.
"On the 30th of June, it was Jayden's debut match, as well as his birthday. He came to school late that night, probably cause he slept for too long. We were about to head to the field when he arrived, so I waited for him so we could go together."
Everyone listened intently.
"Before he even changed, our man Ethan over here walked in and asked if he could talk with Jayden for a moment. He led us to the woodlot, which raised our suspicions. He then proceeded to call out gangsters from the Scorpion Gang, who he had given orders to kidnap Jayden. Jayden and I fought back and managed to knock them out, but Jayden was badly hurt, so I took him to Greystone Castle, calling Austin to follow. Then we heard our friend had been declared a fugitive!"
Aiden very nearly punched Aiden in the face, but restrained himself. Everyone could see the look of rage in his eyes as he stared daggers at Ethan.
Gary nodded and said, "Mr Hawk, at this point I would like for you to come with me to New Phoenix Police Station for further questioning."
Ethan glared at Aiden. 'He pretty much ruined the entire plot!' He got up and followed the Chief out of the room.
Aiden walked back to his seat, and Austin whispered, "I think you made a mistake there, Aiden."
Aiden lifted an eyebrow. Austin continued, "Did you see his face when he was asked to follow Chevenix? It was a face of calmness, a nonchalant expression. That guy knows nothing will happen to him, and what do you think will happen once he leaves the station?"
"And most importantly, did you see any wounds on his body?"
Aiden trembled slightly. He distinctly remembered the way Jayden mauled Ethan that night.
So if he had no wounds, didn't that mean....
Aiden whispered, "He's a Werewolf!"

Ethan was being carried to the Station in Gary's car.
Gary broke the silence, "You know, I had my suspicions. Your entire story was bull."
Ethan kept silent, for at that moment he heard a whisper from a very familiar voice, "Whatever he says, don't answer."
Gary continued, "The major flaw in your story was declaring Jayden to have killed sixteen men on his own. The Walker kid's story was much more plausible than yours."
Ethan showed a slight smile, but remained quiet.
"Some of the students claimed that you and Jayden had a bit of a squabble together, and you dislike each other a lot. That would explain why you would hire a gang to deal with him. But you weren't expecting Aiden to be there with you, did you?"
Ethan shook his head.
Gary, finally getting the message that Ethan wasn't going to talk any time soon, fixed his eyes on the road, only to find they were already there.
Ethan was put in cell 233, where he would spend the rest of the day, or perhaps the night.
Gary, remembering what happened the last time they put a person in a cell, ordered two guards to be stationed at the entrance.
Gary went through his files and soon called Detective Parker into the office.
Parker walked in, "You called me, sir?"
"Yes, we might have to go back to that Hell again."
"That Hell, sir?" Parker was quite confused.
"Greystone Castle."
Parker's face paled instantly, as he remembered their welcome by Lady Greystone.
"Why, sir?"
Gary replied, "I found the real culprit begins the 30 June massacre. Ethan Hawk, Greystone's classmate. We will have to go give an apology to the family, and get Jayden exonerated."
"I understand, sir."
Gary sighed, "I really didn't think I'd have to go back so soon."
The door burst open, and Tony Hawk strode into the room.
"Take my son out of that cell. Now."
