After waiting for a few seconds a cloaked man left the adventurer's guild and approached Zoom.
"How many immortals are stalking me right now?" Zoom said in an almost silent voice but the cloaked man easily heard the words and said, "One hundred fifty seven nearby, there should be more scattered far away around us in order to stop us if we escape."
Zoom could only sigh as he realized the numbers. He had severly underestimated the value of his card to the countless guilds who would fight for such a thing.
Zoom could also reveal himself as a part of Snow and receive Winter's protection but he knew that she was like the other guild masters. Every guild master will clammor for every advantage their guild can get.
And he thought Winter was the same.
At the same time Zoom didn't want to be in strict watch by Snow's guards who might watch his every move once he reveals himself.
Of course Zoom already had a back up plan. He didn't rush things when he sent out those messages to those guilds, he knew of this occurance happening and had hatched an escaped plan.
But the number of players who were stalking him were above his expectations which made him wonder if he could still escape.
"They seem to be waiting for you to move a little further away from the guild, afterall only the guild has a lot of powerful adventurers on standby while the city guards are mostly stationed at the walls." Davie said.
'I can't log out because they might station some players here until i log back in, therefore i can only try to lose them and escape. As long as my identity is safe i can continue to roam around here safely.'
This was the idea that Zoom had in mind. Escaping was the only way but to escape the grasp of maybe even more than 200 level 50+ players was a task. Possibly even more.
"Alright Davie i have a plan..." Zoom explained his plan to Davie as they stood near the entrance of the Adventurer's guild. The players were quietly watching and trying to peak into their conversation but to no avail.
While Zoom and Davie ramain standing at the same spot for the past few minutes they finally moved from their places and suddenly went towards the Adventurer's guild building. This move surprised the players who had expected the two to run away and escape their grasp. But instead then went back into the building.
The players who were caught off guard suddenly stood from their positions as they ran towards the building.
Zoom and Davie rushed towards a corner where the bathrooms were located and upon entry Zoom took his cloak off while Davie kept his cloak on and ran back outside.
The players who were about to enter the building saw the cloaked man running past them and away from the building. Most of the players instinctively chased the cloaked man while some had remained.
"Only one man left the building, it's a fifty fifty. Either the real one is the one running away or the real one is still inside this building." One of the players said.
The players were all well aware that other guilds were here and that they were in a competition on who could bring the cloaked man into their side first before the others do.
They had no time for idle chatter as they looked around them not missing a single detail.
"I saw tham enter this corner." One player said who was pointing at the corner which lead to the bathroom.
"Let's go." The other players followed into the pathway towards the bathroom in search for the cloaked man.
Zoom who simply passed the players as he left the bathroom area was laughing internally. The players were in too much of a rush to notice that he left the bathroom.
Going to the bathroom was nothing odd espacially since now Zoom had no cloak on and they didn't know of the cloaked man's identity but what they forgot to realize was that immortals like them didn't need to pee in game. This was a mistake that they were bound to realize so Zoom quickly left the building.
Winter was outside of the building when she noticed Zoom walk out. Her cold and serious demeanor blossomed as her heart started beating faster.
She tried to approach Zoom but her usually couragious personality was nowhere to be seen. Her she felt chained by her shyness as she couldn't take a step forward towards Zoom.
Zoom who had just made the his best escape of his career was walking towards Winter who was now stuck in place. Winter had thought Zoom was about to approach her yet a second later Zoom simply went past Winter without batting an eye.
Winter's blushed face turned into a frown as she scolded herself, 'That was an opportunity to talk to him Winter why didn't you take the chance! Your suppose to be an opportunist! Argh!'
Though Zoom had ignored and walked past her like she wasn't their she reminded herself that maybe Zoom was too busy thinking about something that he hadn't realized she was there.
Yes maybe that's it! Winter thought.
Truth be told Zoom was indeed thinking about something that he hadn't realized Winter's presence.
'HAHAHA, best escape ever!' Zoom was too busy celebrating in his mind but he controlled his urged to laugh uncontrollably incase people would think he'd gone insane.
While Zoom was celebrating the players were looking everywhere inside the bathroom but to no avail.
But...
"Wait i think i saw someone walk out of the bathroom... It was a player!" Everyone had also remembered rushing past a player as they entered the bathroom but they were too much in a rush to notice him.
"We've been played! That player must still be outside let's go!" Players from every guild left the bathroom and went outside of the building to see Winter who was in a daze as she stared at Zoom's direction and a man named Zoom wearing a leather armor walking like nothing had happened.
Their eyes were pointed at Zoom with blades as they realized that this might be the cloaked player all along.
