The adventurer's guild was fully equipped with tons of available services with one of those services being interstellar travel. Transport ships and warships alike were used as vehicles for travel.
Once Zoom had arrived at the twentieth floor he went to a large room full of people. Everyone was in line in order to book a flight.
When it was Zoom's turn to book a flight he first asked if there was a tier 1 planet a few solar systems away which the receptionist said yes.
He was given a choice to book a flight and wait for it's destined time of travel or pay a larger sum to board a flight immediately. Between the two Zoom chose the latter and payed a larger sum, in total he payed 10 million UC which was like taking out a bucket of water in an ocean.
After all Zoom had accumulated another 2 billion UC from his previous endeavour pushing his total wealth past 4 billion UC.
He expecting nothing but peace during this long travel that would last more than 10 hours. His journey? The Drexia Solar System.
The Drexia Solar System was a few solar systems away from this planet. It was a tier 2 solar system with 7 habitable planets.
One tier 1 planet, three tier 2 planets, two tier 3 planets and two tier 4 planets. Zoom was on his way towards a tier 1 planet which was closest to it's star. It was lush with nature which was mainly tropical. Snow was a foreign concept to the inhabitants living there.
The travel was expectedly peaceful. Zoom sat on the public lounge as he stared at the empty space through the thick screen in front of him. The flight was fully populated by Humans with no other races in the ship.
Players were also on board as the ship sometimes took stops in order to bring more passengers along while also dropping off some of them.
While Zoom kept to himself he never expected to be approached by another player. The player sat on another coach across of his. The player looked like a young man who wore leather armour.
He sat down and said, "Seeing players using space travel is quite rare, it's too expensive after all. Where are you going and what's your profession player?"
Without revealing too much Zoom said, "Drexia Solar System, I kill beasts."
"Alright alright, respectable, I'm also going to the same place... but I'd like to ask how you'd acquire enough money to afford a flight... if you don't mind sharing." It was weird to see a level 34 player being able to afford space travel and even if they were able to afford it they would rather use it to buy better equipment.
"I kill beasts and I sell their cores and carcasses." The player realised what Zoom meant by his words and didn't press any further.
"So your a part of Snow huh... Isn't Snow headquarters the other way? Are you leaving Snow or maybe your in a recognisance mission?"
"I'm leaving Snow."
"Why? I've heard Snow is a pretty good guild, good benefits with three strongholds. They provide a helping hand to their players and the benefits of becoming a contracted players is quite generous. Are the rumours actually fake and the guild is bad?"
"No, I just left for personal reasons."
"Hmm... Alright since your a free player how about you join my guild, it's a new guild created by my friends so it's only a tier one guild, but every player here are certified pros. Normally we only recruit level fifty four or higher players but I feel like your special so I can make an exception."
"We only have thirty five players for now but soon we can reach fifty players without a hitch at our progress speed."
The offer was tempting.
'A guild with only elite players, thats quite unique. I don't have any new guilds I would join so I might as well take a look.' It didn't hurt to join after all, it the guild didn't suit his tastes then he would join another one.
"Alright let me join this guild your talking about." Hearing this made the player's smile widen in shock.
"Alright! By the way my name's Searis! Leave Snow and then I'll be sending you an invite." Zoom then went to his stat screen and went to the guild section. The guild was fully accessible through here. Zoom scrolled through the screen until he found the leave button and clicked it.
After confirming that he would leave the guild Zoom was now officially guildless. After Zoom said that he'd left Snow Searis then sent Zoom an invite.
'Midnight.'
Now Zoom was officially part of the Midnight guild or more famously known as Midnight Party. The destruction squad of the tier 7 guild Dimensional Void. Of course Zoom knew nothing about this and thought of Midnight as a completely normal and new guild who had incorporated this unique system.
Zoom introduced himself after Searis did and they chatted all throughout the trip. After they had arrived they disembarked Searis lead Zoom throughout the city they had landed it.
They landed in Trent City which was the capital of the planet and the Homebase of Midnight. After showing Zoom a quick tour Searis then lead Zoom towards a four story building with an awfully familiar logo.
This was the Midnight headquarters.
Zoom entered the building through the help of Searis and they arrived at the living room where five players busy discussing something. Their discussion was immediately interrupted by Zoom and Searis's arrival.
Their eyes immediately fixated at the new arrivals mainly Zoom. They quickly inspected the player and realised that he was now a part of their guild but what gave them the shock of their lives was the fact that Zoom was only level 34!
This was a guild full of elites upon elites why was this player here? But before they could show their discontent Searis immediately arrived in front of them and released his aura which made them all fall silent.
Searis each sent them a private message about how he met and recruited Zoom and told them why he had recruited the fellow. But even with Searis's explanation they couldn't fully remove that feeling of discontent in their hearts and unless Zoom could prove to them his worth they would not wholeheartedly approve of him.
