After Zoom's capture Roneal and his faction decided on their next move. Firstly they decided to talk with Zoom and encourage him to join their faction. After all Zoom had not been fully contracted by Snow and being a normal member of Snow they thought that bringing this player to their side was a piece of cake.
Zoom had nothing to lose and all to gain. Joining Roneal's faction would bring tons of benefits and if Roneal would soon become the next guild master then Zoom's benefits would become outstandingly luxurious.
"Alright go and try to persuade him first." Someone said.
Roneal walked up to Zoom and unveiled his hood showing his face. Zoom was of course familiar with this man. This was the player that bought his bone staff and was also a vice guild master of Snow.
Zoom kept a poker face while he felt a tinge of anger and confusion inside. He was a part of Snow, why would they capture him?
"Why did we capture you? You might ask. Firstly you can sell items and obtain a five percent bonus in UC. Secondly we would like you to join us and sign this contract." After saying all this Roneal sent Zoom a contract through the stat screen.
Zoom was currently still tied and unable to move therefore Roneal had to untie him. Now that Zoom was untied he could now read the contract.
The contents of the contract were that Zoom would become loyal to Roneal and never betray him on his rise to becoming the next guild master of Snow. He would help Roneal in his endeavour in exchange Zoom would receive countless benefits and would become one of Roneal's trusted subordinates gaining higher positions inside the guild after he becomes the guild master.
There was only one word that popped up in Zoom's mind as he read this, 'Nah.'
Zoom didn't want to be forced to become loyal to someone. Help someone become the guild master of Snow? No!
Zoom didn't want to bother with such things. He had plans of going higher. Becoming a mere trusted subordinate of the guild master of a quasi tier 4 guild or possibly a tier 5 guild in the future was unsatisfactory. Being only a trusted subordinate of a tier 5 guild felt like a nightmare for Zoom.
If people could hear his thought they would burst out in anger. A lot of people would do anything to become a trusted subordinate of a guild master of a their 5 guild!
The position of trusted subordinate would hold great benefits and elevate people's life. They would receive a high salary, far above the average and they would be treated with respect by most players in the gaming world.
But for Zoom these benefits weren't enough to satisfy him. With his unique class and great start. If Zoom could properly utilise his advantages then becoming a true powerhouse inside the gaming world was a possibility.
"And by the way, you can't refuse." The sinister look on Roneal's face as he said this disgusted Zoom.
'I can't refuse? I'll show you!'
There were ten players inside of the room excluding Roneal and Zoom. They were all level 50 players and wore level 60 items. They all looked at Zoom with caution not daring to let their guard down the slightest.
Zoom now had 6 available summons after Davie was out of combat disappeared. With Davie available Zoom knew that all 6 of his summons could obliterate the eleven players in this room.
Zoom would try to escape and if he realised that the possibility of such was 0% then he would spring his plan into action.
"I can't refuse huh? Then die..." These words enraged Roneal coupled with Zoom's arrogant smirk he wanted to beat up Zoom until he could no longer breath but before Roneal could land his punch, someone appeared in between Zoom and Roneal.
It was Davie. Davie quickly unsheathed his blade and with a smirk he made eye contact with Roneal before using his skill carve.
"Carve!" The wave of energy made a dent towards the player's armours and dealing considerable amounts of damage but not enough to kill them.
The 11 players were knocked back towards the walls causing a large shockwave that confused the players outside. Players were stationed outside of the door of the room yet the players didn't dare barge in simply.
They were of course afraid of Roneal and his elite personnel. They would only go inside if they were ordered to. This worked into Zoom favour since Roneal and his 10 men were now trapped with him.
Seraphine immediately casted a spell that engulfed Zoom and his summons giving them additional strength.
Before the players could call for back up all of Zoom's summons went to attack the players.
Terry who was a thief held two daggers on both of his hands rushed towards Roneal who revealed his staff. Roneal pointed his staff towards Terry and launched a ball of fire towards the thief.
Terry was fast, very fast and with Seraphine's spell he easily dodged the very predictable fireball. Terry appeared in front of Roneal before he stabbed Roneal's stomach.
Roneal coughed up tons of blood as he knelt on the ground from the impact. Terry didn't hold anything back as he held his to daggers tightly and sank them deep towards Roneal's back piercing deeply.
Roneal wore cloth robes which made it easy to inflict damage and deal a lot of it too. After the three stabs that were full of poison that immediately took effect Roneal quickly died from it. The loud screams echoed loudly throughout the room and bits of the noise escaped the room.
The players outside were worried and wanted to rush in yet they were afraid. Maybe it was just the prisoner being tortured?
The thought that their leader and his elite personnel being killed inside the room felt impossible to even imagine. But little did they know that was what exactly was happening inside.
