Chapter 31 - Giving Services To Guilds (1)

Zoom was now inside the game after an hour and a half. The first he did was check his messages where he received replies from more than 90% of the guilds he had sent a message to.

Guild's were ofcourse skeptical of such things. But a video was undenial proof. Inside this game recorded videos could not be editted. They saw that Zoom had shown something to the cashier that looked like a card. Also Zoom would supply them with a contract easing most of their worries.

With so many guilds wanting to do use Zoom's services Zoom had to schedule each guild to maintain a semblance of order.

Zoom spent the next few minutes in order to finalize his list. With Fallen Moon going first followed by a few other guilds Zoom was now finished with the list of guilds that would be receiving his services.

Some would ask why did Zoom decide to send Fallen Moon a message. Doing so would surely benefit Fallen Moon. Why would Zoom help an enemy.

Well Fallen Moon was only a temporary enemy. An enemy who would contend for the stronghold. But now they were just your normal guild doing their own thing and trying to recover after the brutal battle.

Plus Zoom didn't care whether Fallen Moon benefitted from him. Fallen Moon and Snow's problems with each other were of no business to him. He didn't involve himself in other's squabble unless he was forced to. In the end Zoom was also seeking to gain some benefits for himself.

Zoom was going to be sitting in the adventurer's guild cafeteria on the third floor. He sat in an empty corner with barely any people around. This area of the cafeteria was exclusive to the so called immortals such as him. The already very small exclusive area was mostly empty with a few players meeting up with each other.

Zoom sat idly with a hood on that made him a sore thumb. They looked at his direction with confusion and distanced themselves from Zoom's corner.

After a few minutes of waiting a group of five players entered the cafeteria and looked around. After spotting their target they went to Zoom's corner and sat on the other side of the table.

In front of Zoom was a vice guild master from Fallen Moon named, "Isabella."

After taking her seat she immediately went straight to the point and said, "Let's quickly seal the deal, give me the contract and I'll sign it."

After a few seconds Isabella opened up her stat screen and went to another section of her screen where she firstly read the contract. She didn't like to spend to much time and opted to do things efficiently but she wisely didn't rush when it came to reading contracts.

Zoom had already signed the contract, so after reading the contract she signed it immediately. Written in the contract was the agreement that Zoom would return to give them the money. Zoom would also be taking 1% of the 5% additional UC.

After the contract was signed Isabella placed 20 pouches in front of her which were large in size, thrice the size of a fully inflated balloon. After storing the pouches Zoom stood from his seat and went to the marketplace of the guild.

There were two lines in the counter where the first line is where ordinary adventurers with no card would sell their items to the guild. It was a decently long line filled with mostly NPC's.

The other line was where Zoom who had a card could use. Unlike the ordinary adventurers Zoom would be immediately escorted to another room where the guild would inspect the items. Unless an ordinary adventurer brought a large stockpile of items to sell they wouldn't receive the luxury of privacy like Zoom.

Roneal had also heard about the mysterious messenger who could receive an additional 5% more UC when it selling items. Of course after the battle for the stronghold where he was able to benefit and obtain countless items together with his faction he immediately sent Zoom a message.

Roneal and his secret faction would be acquiring Zoom's services since after all who wouldn't want extra money? They may be rich now but why wouldn't they want to be richer? The more the merrier.

But Roneal also had other plans in mind and just like the other guilds they had intentions.

Zoom easily sold the items with ease though some items had slight damages the guild only deducted a small amount from the true value of the items.

In total the items would have been worth 12 billion UC but with the additional 5% UC Zoom now had 12.6 billion UC where Zoom would be taking 120 million from it.

120 million that quickly was something that currently most players were unable to even achieve in a month yet Zoom had gained such an amount in minutes.

After returning to the cafeteria Zoom gave back the twenty pouches that were now full of coins. And to top it off Zoom sent Isabella a video of the transaction just incase she was still skeptical. Of course she still took a look at the video even with the contract in place.

After carefully inspecting the video Isabella nodded and quietly left the cafeteria. After the transaction was completed the contract now had a stamp that read complete on the top right which symbolises that the transaction was done.

Just a few minutes after the transaction was completed a new set of players appeared who quickly approached Zoom.

The onlookers were baffled at the scene. Of course they recognised Isabella and just like the new comers they had recognised that a vice guild master from a tier 4 guild had approached Zoom once again.

What could be happening here they thought. Some wanted to hear the conversation but the subtle yet deadly glances from the vice guid master's guards kept players at bay.

Their strong aura stopping the players from taking even a single step. Some had started recording and sent a video to the local chat box.

The local chat box was a platform where players who were within a certain region could message each other. Most of the messages were independent players looking for a group, newbies asking for help while some were simply showing off their luck.

But the video that was uploaded on the chat box received a lot of reactions of curiosity, at most players only gave speculations. Some players though had different ideas.
