Since the arrival of Winter she has comepletely taken the helm of leading the army after Flake was captured by Kane. As both armies clashed with intense ferocity Kane was holding an unconscious Flake who wore cuffs tying both her hands and feet.
Winter had told Flake to log out in order to not experience what was going to happen next. But logging out during combat is different when logging out when your in a safe environment. When you log out your character inside the virtual world would disappear but when your in combat that character is simply their. A body without a host, it has no control and will only lay there idly.
Flake was a competent and smart player, she knew and thought of her decisions carefully. She had a bit of ego but knew when to throw her small ego aside when she needed to run. But the reason that Kane was able to capture her was all because of a despicable act.
Flake and Kane were duking it out one on one while the other core members of each guild were in an equal clash. Both sides didn't budge an inch and everything was comepletely even, but Flake's momentum was slowly growing, with each clashing of their blades Flake was a few miliseconds faster than Kane. Slash after slash she reached closer to finally landing a strike on Kane but rather than landing a clear slash on Kane she tripped.
Flake didn't trip on herself because of poor footwork but because of an attack that stealthly evaded everyone's senses. A small ball of energy exploded and hit her back throwing her off of her feet. With the opportunity in front of him Kane slashed on of Flake's foot and quickly took out two cuffs that both held Flake's hands and feet together.
Just a few seconds after Kane was able to cuff and immobolize Flake, Kane felt a strong presence approaching him which made him raise his guard up tenfold. Sweat dripped from his body as he held his axe on one hand while holding Flake on another.
Flake tried to resist wiggling around like a worm and trying to bite Kane but she just couldn't escape Kane's grip.
The strong presence that Kane felt was Winter. Winter had finally arrived together with her 50 personnel that followed her.
And now back to the present.
Winter was pushing past the thousands of players in front of her. Winter was a level 58 player with a unique class. She weilded a bone staff on her right hands and with a tap she summoned more than 50 level 58 skeleton warriors. It was a nightmare for the Fallen Moon players who tried to resist them.
After taking another drink of a mana potion Winter summoned another wave of 30 skeleton warriors. The 50 skeleton warriors were already a challenge in itself but the additional 30 made it increase the difficulty by a level.
Rains of spells and projectiles were aimed at the skeletons who delfected most of the incoming attacks.
Kane who was at the back being protected by thousands of players was happily indulging himself. He enjoyed groping and touching Flake in inappropriate places, Flake had nice curves and proportions causing the onlookers to look at Kane with envy.
What Kane was doing had caused Winter's mood to worsen, her anger was through the roof together with her hatred for Kane. Luckily Flake had logged off so she didn't have to experience the situation but nonetheless Winter was pissed.
Like a war goddess that held the power of the undead she clawed her way past the players and was now in front of Kane who had a wide smirk on his face as he threw flake's body to the side. Bits of Flake's armour was torn revealing a bit of her chest but luckily her pants were mostly intact.
The usually expressionless Winter was fuming with anger as her face was red in anger.
Kane had wanted to use Flake as an bait to lure Winter in, he didn't mind playing with Flake but Winter was the true goal. Both Flake and Winter were equally beautiful but Winter had status, she was Snow's guild leader.
Winter together with a handful of her personnel was in front of Kane, he held a large axe with both of his hands as he grinned at Winter.
"Lets go!" More than fifty players were around Winters small group, with all of them being level 48 or higher and equipped good gear.
Winter wore the same vicious expression, she tapped her staff to summon twenty more skeleton warriors to help hold back over fifty players. The skeletons were a slightly stronger matchup against a level 48 or 49 players but they had the numbers to back them up.
Together with her small group and skeletons, Winter were numbered at 28 while Kane had 51 in total plus the hundreds of soldiers who were surrounding them.
Behind Winter a staff appeared out of thin air and replaced her bone staff which continued to float behind her. The staff was as long as the bone staff and was made of enhanced steel that was enchanted by the element of lightning. The staff was silver with blue streaks with a glamorous design on it's tip.
Winter casted a skill and a second later streaks of lightning surrounded her as she became faster, stronger and overall much more powerful.
Kane didn't wait before Winter could launch her assault as he dashed towards her with ferocity, he was like a predator who haven't yet eaten in a long time, his eyes were widened coupled with his crooked smile. He occasionally laughed like a maniac in the middle of slashing his axe.
Winter is too fast for a mage, is what Kane thought as she elegantly evaded each strike. Kane's attacks were powerful and fast, but Winter was faster. Her leather armour combined with a bit of fabric coupled with her swift and beautiful movements made her look elegant.
Bam!
Kane's axe would shatter the ground underneath after every swing, after a simple evasion Winter would launch her attacks throwing mostly basic attacks while adding a few skills from time to time making it seem like a combo.
Kane could withstand a basic attack from Winter, but Winter didn't only throw one attack but multiple attacks switching between three different staffs with very different skills and utilities. A Lightning staff, bone staff and her ice staff. Each staff giving her access to different skills, with the biggest benefit of equipping three different staffs was that she was able to gain the stat points that each staff would give which placed her on a different playing field against other players.
This was a perk of her unique class that gave her an edge against other players. Her versatility was at a maximum as she didn't let her emotions blind her combat prowess.
