Selma woke up to the joyful humming of Corbin while he took longer to get ready in front of the mirror in his room. She took a moment to pay attention to the bright smile on his face and she wondered what could be its reason.
Corbin didn't notice her until she cleared her throat and made her appearance known.
His head turned, and as soon as he noticed the curiousness in his aunt's eyes, he knew she had caught him right. His cheeks burned. He put up a smile and approached his aunt.
"Good morning, aunt!" He hugged her tightly, his chest filled with the warmth of love and selflessness. That was how she had always made him feel.
"Good morning, my dear! You seem to be in a good mood today." She said, pulling away.
"Erm... no. I mean... I am in a normal mood."
"Don't lie to me, Corbin. I know you better than yourself. Tell me what's the good news. Let me be happy too."
