They all strode through the palace courtyard towards their respective carriages. In front, The King, Crown Prince Arden, and The Duke walked together, while The Queen and Andromeda walked together, talking about who knows what. Aylin walked beside Rhea whilst Thea was a few feet behind them.
Aylin didn't know if the princess was doing it on purpose but she knew that Thea was uncomfortable with Rhea's presence. No, scratch that. They both were only tolerating being in each other's presence because of their families. She didn't know why but Aylin wanted to know what made them cold toward each other.
They walked a few distance before finally stopping a few feet away from the carriage where Thea turned to Aylin with a small smile.
"I guess this is it." She paused, "It was nice meeting you Lady Aylin. I hope this won't be our last meeting."
Aylin smiled back and before she could respond, Rhea beat her to it.
