Chapter 22 - Give You My Condolence

She remembered correctly what happened to her mother after her third surgery, she did not make it. So after she was diagnosed with the same disease, she was scared. Her whole life short down.

She already came out of two surgeries, going with the last one might be too risky. And she had vowed that if the tumor ever grew back she would opt for medical care. At least it was the infallible method she could uphold in her dying moment.

Instead of choosing to go for another surgery that may or maynot be successful, she would either live the rest of her remaining days doing the things she loved because there was insurance in it.

Erin was quick to reply, "Am totally fine, nothing is wrong with m-" her words came to an end when Arya butted in.

"Now you are, but what about the future, mmmm are you going to bet on your health that you will be okay in the near future, please just agree to it."

Erin weakly said, calming her breaths, "Am fine Arya, and also if I'm even going for the surgery, it's not because he's the one paying for it, for the past year's he did not consider me as his daughter. And all of a sudden he's playing the part of a caring father" she scoffed. "What a joke. "

The person who did not bother to check on her, even in her dying times, he stood back watching in the shadows, and now he was acting like a father to her, well now she needed him far from her. She does not need his charity .

"If this is because of your own pridefulness or because you don't want them to lebel like your mother, then let me tell you, when you die, people will only grieve for you for some time and they will continue living their lives like you're never apart of it."

Yes that was part of her reason, she doesn't want to be lebel like the woman who gave birth to her. Since she was able to think and make her own decisions, the name daughter of a husband snatcher ceased to leave her.

Her so-called mother never cared one bit about her, the one thing she cared about was money. And because of that same money she was ready to sell herself for it, abandoning her little daughter in the hands of her stepfather. Who did horrible things to her that she did not even dare remember them.

Fostered in the hands of her step father, while her mother was busy pursuing her dreams, she grew like a thorn in their necks, having to bear and swallow everything down.

Her voice entered Arya's ears again, "I don't care, Arya. At least if I die, I will die with my pride intact. "

"Why are you so stubborn!" Arya yelled but not loud enough to draw attention, just the right tone to show Erin that she was not taking her decisions.

The coquettish voice prolonged the silence, before Erin managed to say. "Let's drop the matter, we should get going, you said you wanted to ride the ferris wheel. " sweeping the matter underneath the rug.

Arya frowned and stood up, "Am not in the mood any more, let's just go home.'' She put her hands in her bag and brought out her cane that was reduced to a small stick, drawing it to its original length.

"Arya, don't act like this." tugging her hand backward for her to sit.

"Act like what? Being stubborn, you made your own decision without considering my feelings. I know that if you die, I will probably cry my eyes out in a month or two. But the pain will be curved deep down in my heart."

She continued, "Not because you're helping me but because you are family to me, the only person who has treated me right without gaining anything from it, and I won't want you to die. " converging her mind to Erin.

Erin just silently shook her head in response, "I know," creasing Arya's hand she then said, "All will be well, so the time I have left let's contribute it to our fun days, leaving all our worries for tomorrow, as for now let's go crazy. "

Back in Vincent's worry free lifestyle, where he does not have to bother himself with anyone's problems.

He emerged from his private swimming pool, in one of his many hotels. Blue marble stones were finely decorated round the edge of it.

The blue stone's creased a path that led to the exit of the pool that was safely guided by iron steel rings rails handle. With the mysterious and luxurious air it was nothing less than a dream come true for some.

But to Vincent it was a way to kill time. His plain black boxer, firmed on his hip bones, brought out a perfect shape of his member that was blogging out.

Picking the white fluffy tower, he wrapped it around his waist, walk to the woman who sat on the beach chair.

"Shouldn't you be in khew with your team, why are you here Ann?"

Anastasia sat up, " I heard of the news, and I rushed back immediately, you must be grieving." Her words, sympathetic as it could be, "Came to pay my condolences."

Sitting down, Vincent said, "Since when were you two close, or you finally found the need to befriend her after she died. "

"We were friends before, just that we were not that close." smiling at him.

Condolences indeed, now that she was dead people were popping out from right to center claiming to be friends with her, when back then they were sworn competitors when she was alive. What magical things death can do.

Vincent raises his brows with a smirk, "What a good friend you are but I think you should have gone to see her family instead of coming here. "

Still working to keep the sweet smile pasted on her beautiful face, but the smile creaked a bit on his words.

She laughed out the words, "Ahh, you were her boyfriend, so I thought it was right to see you first before going to visit her family, I fled back last night." adding the information to let him know.

"Okay I accept your condolences, now you can go. " stretching on the words condolence.

"That's not the way you accept consolation."

Titling his head he asked, "I did not know there were other ways to accept it, care to tell me. "

"I could actually give you my condolences if you don't mind." she said, playing with her hair.

Back in the mall, when the girls had finished their shopping for the day, they walked out to the gateway that was brightly lit up.

Coming down to a less noisy area on the other side of the road waiting for a cab. A black van just pulled up in front of them, and they were immediately dragged in as the doors were close shut. Racing off.

But the abduction did not go unnoticed, because the same person who kept close watch on them for his personal purpose saw this, but did not raise an alarm nor did he chase after them.
